"Ordered an item as part of a cyber Monday deal which was listed as in stock. After 2 weeks of silence with regards to the processing or shipping of the order, I received a refund for my order with no explanation or apology for the failure to meet the terms of the transaction. Of course this happens less than 10 days away from Christmas for which I had planned this purchase as a gift, the pure lack of proper communication from the company is clear that they do not care much for customers or honoring their own promotions."

"Worst customer service ever. Placed an order on line, was told in stock and would ship within 24 hours. Lorex charged my credit card. After 8 days, it has not shipped yet. Called to check on the status, was on hold for 20 minutes, some body came on line got all my information and said "Let me check and I will be right back". After holding for another 30 minutes, I finally hung up. I don't know if and when I will get my order and there is no body to talk to to cancel my order."

"My wife and I are very satisfied. We use 4 cameras around the outside of the house. We can see the front street and also the deer and other wildlife in the woods behind and around the home. The clarity is very good and the night vision is exceptional. "

"I installed my Lorex home security system in three phases. Phase 1: The wireless LNC 116-3 pack. Connecting from a pc to an Android and iPad was super successful. I used the ticket system while troubleshooting the DDNS system. Phase 2: I added another wireless LNC 116-3 pack (6 total). I'm convinced that these are the easiest color cameras to operate for amateurs, and "semi-computer literate" users and installers. Phase 3: I added the LZC 7091 PK2 cameras. A DVR is needed to operate the cameras. The system is hard wired but the reliability is worth the installation effort. I appreciate the pan, tilt , and zoom features. The night vision allows me to track pedestrian traffic on my lawn throughout the night. I live near a high school and teenagers frequently vandalize our mail box by raising our pick-up flag. If they ever steal our mail I can confidently approach the school dean to apprehend the potential perpetrators. The first week of installation three teenagers horse-playing turned on our lawn hoses at 3:30 in the morning and I was able to review the film and print hard copies for a police report."

"I am very pleased with my Lorex security system!!!! I now have a sense of security and safety that I did not have prior to purchasing my system. I had a situation happen not two weeks after I purchased it, I was putting our family pet outside to potty and a coyote came into my yard with me outside and took my dog! If I would not have had our Lorex system no one would've believed me. My neighbors have different brand systems and we could not even make out the coyote and my dog, Our system caught it and it was very noticeable what had happened. I am sad to say we could not save our IttyBitt. I can say that after seeing the footage from our system, I have had several people ask about my system because they want to purchase one. I do have to include I had to call Lorex for help in downloading videoed footage to a jump drive and they were so willing and helpful!!!! I would deffinetly purchase from Lorex again!!!!!

"I bought a Model # LH158000 eight camera system from Lorex in July. The system has been working perfectly. I was surprised at how clear the pictures were and how easy it was to program the DVR. I would recommend this system to anyone for personal or business use."

"I purchased a three monitor security camera system and it works great. The beauty of the camera is that I can view it from whereever I am if I am curious to know how the kids are doing at home. I can access it as long as I connect to the internet on my cell phone. The sound quality is good however the one shortcome is that it doesn't work well if I am interested in pointing one camera outside to the front of the house. I use two mainly to see my kids and would love to have the two way speaker function added to it."

"Over the past year I have purchased three different Lorex products. The first purchase was an 8-channel Security Camera System in October 2013 through Costco. A few weeks later I purchased on-line through Lorex two wireless cameras to be utilized with the security camera system. The final purchase was on-line through Lorex in August 2014 for a small video sport cam. I am most pleased with the video sport cam. The wireless cameras I purchased to use with the security camera system cut in and out and often freeze up and I have to disconnect the power source to reset the feed. Regarding the security camera system, I am now on my third DVR and have had numerous conversations with Tech Support. For the most part I found the Level 1 Tech Support not able to provide much help and the wait time is ridiculous. Level 2 has always been helpful, but getting through to them takes an entire morning or afternoon. I am continuously having problems receiving e-mail camera motion notification. It runs well for maybe a month or two and then stops sending emails for no apparent reason. None of the settings have been changed. The system went out again yesterday on the third DVR after running well for 1 1/2 months. Quite honestly I have run out of patience dealing with Level 1 Tech Support and doubt I will call again. My time is too valuable. There is a problem with the email notification and Lorex is obviously at a loss as how to correct the problem. "
