"I ordered 3 dvds on July 5, 2014 as gifts for my daughter. After a couple of weeks of hearing nothing I emailed and was told they would ship the next day, July 16. I received only 1 of the 3 with no word about the other 2. I have emailed two more times, July 21 and 28, inquiring about the missing 2 dvds and have received no response. I have tried calling almost daily but the company never answers their phone, the voice mailbox is always full. I even joined Facebook just to send them a message hoping they might respond to that since they are posting there almost daily, but no luck. I still want these dvds, they will make my daughter so happy, I just want to know what is going on with the order. If they are backordered ok just tell me when I should receive them. It is the silence, being ignored, and not knowing if I am going to get merchandise I paid for that is bothering me. Loving the Classics apparently has time to post daily on Facebook and Twitter and to send out emails advertising new products and sales but not to deal promptly and courteously with customers they already have. It is now July 30 and I am still waiting."
"I have done business with Loving the Classics several times over the years. I appreciate that they have classic films that you just can't find easily elsewhere. I have seen/heard that some were less than ecstatic over their experiences, but I don't understand why... My orders have been filled correctly with satisfactory product over the years. In fact, I think that over time, they have worked to improve the quality of their films, some of which have come from sources that deserve restoration. Now LTC doesn't always follow identical practices that other companies use: for instance, I received no verification on the receipt of my order. BUT IT CAME, complete and in an acceptable period of time. I appreciate their offerings and availability. Glad they're here for us!! "
