"We bought washer dryer , and mini fridge, the lake city fl store we live an hour and a half away, couldn't pick up at that time as we had driven car, the following day, returned with my 7.3 diesel F 250, to pickup purchases, Well, Surprise...that appliances had been sold to another customer Typical Lowes. I've got 12 hours time 75 dollars in fuel. And a trip to best buy to buy appliances, should have gone there First, The Manager did do what's he's paid to do, repeatedly saying I'm sorry. I'm sorry, lost count how many times. But I do agree, he's Sorry working for an even Sorrier Company, needless to say we will never d o business with them again, not they're concerned. Another victim is in line behind us."
"I was at the Coon Rapids, MN store on May 23. I was looking for a wooden screen door. All of a sudden I had a health problem ( I am 71 yrs old and taking many meds) and placed my hand over my mouth and looked frantically for a garbage can when I very sweet young man who was working in the area saw me and assisted me! he was the nicest kindest person ever! he went above and beyond helping me and while the health problem eased he carried the door up to the check out and carried it outside to my vehicle! His name is Jason Smith and the kind check out lady was Deb. Was sooooo impressed. Thank you Lowes for employees like them!"

I am a contractor and time is important.
I will not shop at Lowes again. One register open and its self service with 9 people in line and if thats not enough they are trainer. I waited 32 minutes before walking out, this is the third time in 30 days i have left a full cart or basket an walked out. Its not bad enough that the retailer is over charging. "

"Ordered a fridge back in December 2021. Fridge was severely damaged and was taken back to delivery truck. We were told to go back to Lowe's to reorder. So we did.We never got a refund from the first failed delivery. Called customer service at least a dozen times. Nobody knows what to do. Untrained and uneducated workers. I left my cell phone number 5 times for a manager to return my calls. I got no return calls. Went into store to try to resolve the issue. An associate advised me to call delivery people to send verification to Lowe's for a release of payment. Meaning my refund. The MANAGER at Clinton Township Lowe's is a real *** he was cocky and had a totally bad attitude. Its now April of 2022. They had had the money **** for 4 months. I contacted Lowe's TODAY. Manager says the money has been there waiting for 30 days!! And we were not contacted. But funny how nobody is aware it's THERE. There is no compensation offered. Actually I asked and was declined ANY type of refund or even a gift card. They had over $1,500 out of my account for 4 months. And a ton of hassle for us to get it back. Certainly was not done in a timely order. And it didn't seem to matter to them that I didn't have it in MY account for my bills. But if it was on a charge they would've gotten interest and fees from ME. Didn't get an apology or even a smile from the manager when we went in for a refund. I contacted corporate office and they had me on the line for way too long and the end result was a $25 eCard . it was stressful and totally unacceptable to be dodged after 13 phone calls and several in store visits finally we got a refund. I guess now it's not mandatory for anyone to be respectful or nice to customers. Once they get your money it's a mess to get it refunded. Even if it's THEIR fault. We will not be frequenting Lowe's in the future. And it's a shame they can show no respect and get away with it. Workers and management both. Sad how society is now. Disrespectful to say the least. Of course it upsets us and Lowe's just didn't care. Horrible reviews and they STILL get away with treating people like trash. I'm a true believer in Karma. Hope they get what they deserve. "
"I am so thankful, for the experience I had at Lowes. I went in to the store looking for several items we were planning to purchase water heater, shower and sink and drawers for our restroom. We just refinance our house to remodel it. Our first project is the restroom but planning to do the whole house. I ask one of the employees for help in cutting a piece of glass for me. The employee quickly dismissed me by telling me their was a button in the desk. I assured the employee I had looked for a service button but there was not one at the work station. I ask the employee if he could call one else to help. He said he did not have a phone. I asked the employee if he could ask some to come and help me. He walked way saying as soon as I get my phone. No one ever showed up to help us. I ask what look like to be two managers for help. One of the manger yelled down one of the aisle at a two other employees and ask them to come and help. But the manager walked away without even make sure we got help. The two employees walked out of the aisle and began helping an other customer and then turned and asked us of we had a question (not in the most polite way) we told the employee what we needed and she said she could not cut glass but she could cut for us a piece of plexiglass. I left the store. I will never be back to Lowes again. After come home to review all the negative comments online I'm glade this happened before spending any money. I will just take my business elsewhere."
"We ordered for delivery 3M 1085 HVAC filters. They were Junk. 3M quality control evidently went into the toilet.
We contacted Lowes customer service and encountered a know nothing do nothing line employee. We then were put on hold fo 27 minutes to speak to her supervisor named Linc. He was a super rude smart alec unprofessional ****. We will NEVER buy online for delivery from Lowe's ever again!"
"We ordered and paid for a washing machine from Lowes as they were pretty much the only company that had it available. They set up an appointment to deliver it on Jan 29th telling us that the delivery window was from 8 AM until 8 PM. I questioned the giant window since it made us sit home all day waiting, but they told me that was the only option. So we sat home all day, never hearing a word. I finally called they at 7 PM to see if they were still coming. No, they were not….after sitting home all day. They claim they tried to delivery, but they did not. No phone call, no knock on the door and we never left our house. Lowes price was $100 more than Home Depot, but Home Depot was out of stock. Now we are praying that they deliver it on Feb 1st and we will have to take off work to be here….but I do not trust them. I wish we had another option. I will be avoiding Lowes whenever possible."
"I purchased a gas stovetop from Lowe's recently and had Lowe's install it. The installation took almost exactly an hour and I was charged $408! For one hour's worth of work. No parts! I called Lowe's and was told that they don't charge by the hour and because there was some cutting to make the stovetop fit, which took about 5', that this was their charge; and the pricing was corporate policy and nothing they could do about it. Not charging by the hour provides Lowe's and their contractors an opportunity to abuse their customer. I’m now suspicious whether the cutting was necessary and was a mechanism to inflate the bill.
Obviously, Lowe's is not interested in my future business. I'll gladly oblige.

Purchased washer dryer on 11/5. Delivery was for 11/10. My receipt says 11/10. The salesman was happy it was 11/10 and actually told me they had the dryer and the washer is coming in from DC and will be ready for delivery. 11/9 came and I didn’t get a call. Went to the store and told them that and they said a will call will be between 6-9 to give me a time. That call never happened. I still took the day off on 6/10. No show. I called and complained and was told it was coming on Saturday 11/13. They apologized. 11/12 I get a call with a time. All good. 11/13 at 10:35 get a call from the driver. He says he has a dryer for me. I ask about the washer and he says no. Told him not to come. Called store and literally got 3 different stories from 3 different people. An associate, a manager and head of shipping. All different stores. Do yourself a favor and just don’t go to Lowe’s to buy appliances. So many other choices out there. And if Lowe’s wants to question anything I have written in this review, please contact me as I have all calls, emails, receipts etc. to prove anything said. Horrible, horrible experience that actually cost me money and I still don’t have a washer and dryer! "
"While we Veterans and active duty military truly appreciate Lowe's display of gratitude by offering Veterans and U.S. military a discount, their payment and refund processing (all part of order processing or O.P.) leaves room for a lot, a WHOLE lot, of improvement. Briefly, e.g., 7 days to credit a refund to a credit card company?
It literally took 7 days for Lowe's to confirm a refund for that refund to post to our credit card AND that was for a cancelled order, i.e. an order that was cancelled within 15 minutes of the order being placed. I.e. the order never reached the "processing" stage. This was not the result of the credit card company but Lowe's final approval of that reversed or refunded charge. We were about to phone the credit card company and ask them to step in and credit our account. Thankfully the amount was not for a large sum, for approx $55.
Despite some other "minor" inconvenient order processing issues that every retailer experiences (some far worse), Lowe's customer service, O.P. for actual orders that have been placed, experiences have been satisfactory therefore the 3-star rating. Nonetheless, 7, SEVEN, days to reverse or credit a charge for an order that was never processed? Ridiculous. Had it not been for that, the rating would've been bumped up to 4, maybe a full 5-star rating."
"I made an online order for about $3,500. The charge was placed on my card and then within hours credited back. I got a notification from Lowes that the payment was declined. I went back on to the order and noticed that half of the order was paid for, so I re-paid for the other half. Then yesterday Lowes charged me AGAIN for the full amount. I am now charged twice for $3,500 and am told that it will release in a week or 2. This is totally unacceptable. I am not a rich person and having $3,500 **** on my card has put me in a tough position. I have never worked with a worse company in my life, both in-store and online. BUYER BEWARE!"
"Lowe’s customer service does not even remotely compare to its major competitor (we all know who that is). Unfortunately, the competitor’s politics do not align with my beliefs, so I thought I would give these guys a chance. They blew it, first interaction. I will have to bite the bullet and patronize the other now. If you can’t even get something simple right the first time I deal with you, then that is not a great sign for future interactions. I ordered a gas fire pit and some rocks that go in the pit. I chose the option to have the order sent to my home. After the order was placed, I received an email telling me to pick it up at a store in San Jose, California, I live 600 miles away! I immediately canceled the order and tried to place it again. I was then given an error message when trying to re-enter my gift card number, telling me the balance was at zero. I called to have this rectified, only to “greeted” by a person fumbling with the phone line on the other end, long pause, then a “hello”. Her name was Linda, and after asking, she proceeded to tell me the gift card balance “normally” will be sent to me on a different gift card in the mail. I asked for proof of this as she didn’t sound too sure of anything … at all. Her reply was, “what do you want me to do about it”, so by then, I was fed up and advised her I just want my money back so I can spend it at their place of business. She proceeded to speak to me condescendingly, so I asked to put her supervisor on the line. After holding for 20 minutes, Dawn, the alleged supervisor came on the line to tell me my gift card balance would be mailed to me in 2 separate mailings with 2 different gift cards within 7 to 10 business days! I advised I needed the order sooner. Her reply, “you can go ahead and place the order before you receive the gift cards in the mail”. I then asked how I could apply the gift card balance to an order if I place it before they arrive. Her reply, “you can’t”. By this point, I was just laughing because ordering an item online should not involve this much stress and not be this complicated. AVOID THIS PLACE if you enjoy peace and sanity, shop here if you crave chaos and beating your head against walls.

My experience is like many others. The extended warranty systems is poor. I am angry at myself for not going out and purchasing a new dryer for $1200. I have wasted so much time on trying to get an appointment scheduled for th repair. Poor third parties repair organizations, that don't show up for appointments. Each time I had to reschedule for a new appointment I waited an hour to an hour and a half or longer (this morning) on hold to set up the appointment. This company doesn't respect people and value their time. The phone system indicates they will call you back. If you do get a callback, the phone prompt to select 1 to speak to a representative - does not work on my smartphone; imagine that thousands of others also have this problem, unless they are on an older phone. You will have to hang up and call again and wait another 45 minutes to an hour. I have been on hold for over 4 hours this week alone ... PLEASE CONTINUE TO HOLD A REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE WITH YOU.. I should have given up after the first hour. Cumulatively it has been 5 hours this week. Their stores may be clean and net but the customer service is very messy and unprofessional. I wish I could say this was my only experience like this with LOWES. I am stubborn. I should have given up on this company a long time ago. "
"Had a fence installation done 9 months ago, Installed very poorly, post were not cemented and a lot of other issues. Have spoken to Lowes over 75 times and always insured it will be resolved, Still waiting. Spoke to Chip the district/General manager and he agreed it was faulty and said it would be escalated. Supplies were ordered by chip, which we had to call 10 times to get delivered. Still sitting in my yard after another month and no contact. Contacted customer service over and over and over and assured it would be resolved in 24 hours. Still not fixed. This is the worst experience ever, I was very loyal to Lowes but not anymore. What a Joke !!!!!"
