"I've had my L1 Malibal laptop for a month now and am very satisfied with it. I am particularly happy with the screen quality. The laptop arrived without OS, as I had requested and I have set it up with a dual-boot Windows/Linux set-up. I also upgraded the original Ram-Modules and added a second SSD. This was very easy and I am glad to see that Malibal things so much about making such at-home upgrades feasible for customers. I also appreciate that one can order laptops without any branding on the outside. I will definitely purchase again in the future."
"I ordered a laptop over 8 years ago. To this day it is still going strong! Only issue is that the software is no longer updating drivers for such old hardware (wow what awesome build quality) I loved everything about the laptop. How impressed everyone was with the specs when I first got it. Running circles around the other animation students working on their class Macs.
I ordered a new laptop back in Feburary. The only loss of 1 star is because I have only finalized having it shipped to me now. The end of November. That is one long long time to wait for a laptop. I cannot be more happy with how everyone stayed in touch with me. Honestly if I have not owned a laptop from them before I would have asked for my money back. But I know what I am getting from this company. A fully up to date latest spec BEAST for a very fair price. All I can say is I know this new laptop is worth the wait just off of how much mileage I got off the first one.

"Easy to order. The sales folks were very helpful. I got the i5 version, 32GB/1TB. It was delivered four days earlier than the original estimate. The screen is bright, very sharp, and has a wide viewing angle. The keyboard is good and solid. I particularly like the trackpad which I think has just the right sensitivity. The fan is amazingly quiet—I've only heard it one time and had to strain my ears. It doesn't get very warm which is a good thing as I often use it on my lap rather than a desk. In addition to helping dissipate the heat the metal case doesn't seem to show fingerprints. My three previous laptops have been Lenovo X1's. The Aon S1 is better and substantially less expensive. "

"Purchased a laptop for over $1600, and about a year and a half later the video card has failed. I have reflowed it multiple times, but it doesn't look like it will be usable in any way much longer. Replacing the video card would cost me over $600, which is a bit ridiculous.
I realize that I did not purchase an extended warranty, but on a computer this expensive I honestly expected better quality hardware."
"I don't usually post stuff like these, but I have to say this. I had so many bad experiences with their laptop. I bought P151HM1 last year from their website. They took almost a month to ship it out. When I opened it for the first time, I saw this red dot on the screen. Later I found out that it was a dead pixel. I contacted them and they said it will go away after a few weeks. I still have it on my screen. My hard drive failed on me once and had to wait 2 weeks to get it replaced.

"Overall, my experience was pretty good. The computer arrived in the time that was stated, no earlier or later. Customer service was prompt in letting me know the status of my order and so far the notebook has been working very well. "I wanted a laptop I could take to school with me, and had finally made the... unfortunately expensive choice of choosing an awesome gaming ready laptop. Of course gaming-quality laptop brands was all new to me, and a friend pointed me to xotic, which in turn lead me price hunting over to Malibal. Their professionally elegant website was pretty interesting and their purchasing process seemed pretty straight forward.
After a 3 way call with my bank trying to verify the purchase, Malibal refused to take my card (and I learned my bank was full of children in suits). While this sucked, it was by no means Malibals fault, it was an understandable part of their process. If I had to deal with $1000+ purchases I would also want a bank to verify a shipping address... So after awaiting for the money I ordered it. Malibal customer service was very professional and mature, even when my bank was not.
The laptop arrived, and to my horror, it came with a dead pixel. Obviously... I was not happy, and did not buy the dead pixel warranty. I installed windows 7 myself, and when I ent to play Skyrim it just died on me completely. Malibal sent me a new laptop practically overnight when the other one was being shipped back. This is when the new problems started.
I had received another new laptop, this time with some free upgrades their customer support was kind enough to give me for my trouble (this time with no dead pixels!). After trying to install windows, and installing all of the drivers they included, I still had issues... A certain video game (Saints Row 3) would cause the computer to instant-blue screen for no apparent reason. So Malibal Customer support spent many hours with me on the phone trying to troubleshoot this only to come out to no logical solution. So I purchased a windows OS through them so I could have their image (preloaded with the drivers and etc) already on it. It worked perfectly.
Unfortunately I went through a lot of trouble, and to my understanding it is uncommon to have these issues. Regardless they were all dealt with and their customer support was spot on in each situation.
The bottom line is this is a great company, and I love this laptop regardless of the trouble I went through. I would recommend you buy the OS through them and the dead pixel warranty just to be safe. With the money you are saving vs. competitors and other brands of laptops, it is well worth the investment."
"Good prices and a fair selection of options for custom laptops. Some minor hiccups on the web page (CSS error when logged in?). After ordering and paying via verified paypal account, it was a few days before my order was processed. Not much communication, but a week later it showed up on my doorstep. Model P151EM1
Upgraded matte screen is BEAUTIFUL. 78WHr battery lasts nearly six hours with my configuration. The numberpad is a little awkward because the second enter key is right where the . should go. Still better than trying to use the top row, though. No nonsense in the Win7 install, but I upgraded to windows 8 anyhow. Fast when I need fast and efficient when I need efficient, love it. The clevo chasis is a little chunky but certainly gets the job done.
Minor annoyances: microphone right next to the touchpad instead of in the monitor bezel. So much for typing while conferencing. For some reason the wifi (on 802.11g) has far less throughput than my other wireless clients with Intel Advanced-N+bluetooth. Possible driver issue on windows 8.
All in all, a good purchase with no need to get in touch with support. "
"Had a problem during manufacturing which caused one of my 2 switchable graphic card not to work, but support staff was really helpful and got me a fix on it by the next day (involved re installing all drivers with their own factory version that they sent me). staff answered well and quickly.
I guess I should expect SOME flaws from a custom manufacture. and considered all else, this panned out well. the only reason I won't give 5 stars is that they did not update their website with the drivers to the new graphic card, despite selling said graphic card and modifying it so that i had to use THEIR version of it."

They could have politely told me "too bad" and I would have happily waited since part delays weren't caused by them.
