"I purchased some Digital Optics converter lenses from Marine Park Camera & Video over eBay and the salesperson was Chuck.

I returned the lenses because they weren't the correct size and Marine Park exchanged them. I wasn't satisfied with one of the lenses and I received permission to send it back and I was refunded, thru my PayPal account, the cost of the lens and the related shipping costs.

I believe the vendor acted very professionally in this transaction and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other persons.

"I placed a order on the Internet to MP Superstore vs MSN Shopping site. MSN was giving 20% back in MSN dollars for buying through one of their retail outlets they listed and MP Superstore was one of them

I placed the order over the Internet and received a comfirmation number. Then the next day I called just to make sure that my order was in place since I didn't see it on the MP Superstore web site when I did a search there. A sale person talked me into buying a UV filters, which he said he will charged me $19; that was $10 off of the price he normally charge for it. He said that the lens adapter was part of the lens kit. So I went and ordered it. As it turned out they charged me $29 instead, as I found out later.

I received the camera on the day the tracker said it would be there. So I was happy with the delivery time.

The camera was a used one. I noticed that someone had taken at least 65 photos with this camera. The return part of the registration card was missing as well. So I end up registering online at Canon. I called MP Superstore on this matter and after several run arounds passing me through 3 different person, I finally was able to talked to someone. He said that their service technican often take units out of the box to test them to make sure they are working properly. I still think they sold me a used unit.

Other than that, the camera appear to work properly at the moment. I haven't spent enough time with it to see if there is any thing wrong with it.

This is my experience with them. Again I went through them without looking at their rating at resellerrating.com. Another web site rated them ok. I still wonder about them anyway, even though my experince isn't as bad as some of the other ones here.

"I ordered a Sony camcorder from MPsuperstore via MSN, in order to pickup extra MSN dollars, in this case $100. Sony was also running a rebate program for this camera, which would have given me an extra $100.

When I received the camera, the UPC Code Label(needed for the rebate) was stripped off the package. I don't know whether MPsuperstore uses this label to get the rebate for themselves. One of the reasons I chose MPsuperstore was because of its relation to MSN. Never again!

All emails and calls to MSN and MPsuperstore remain unanswered.

"Update 2: The camera was defective out of the box. It kept taking fuzzy pics, so I sent it to Minolta and they fixed it. I have a feeling MPSuperstore sells items returned to other stores.

Update: I got the camera about 10 days after ordering. Although it was not shrinkwrapped, it appeared to be new and it works. The camera has an "international" warranty but I can't tell for how long. I've read on other sites it's a few months rather than a year. Overall, I'm not excited about MPSuperstore but I did get what I paid for in a reasonable time.

I called them and was on hold about 10 minutes. Then the salesguy started to lie. He said they didn't have my zip code (they did). He said that Best Buy gets their stuff from MPSuperstore!?!? (How outrageous is THAT?!) Then he proceeded to insult me when I didn't want his overprice filters. "Oh you've owned this camera before so you know you don't need this to protect the lens..." After about 10 "No thank yous" he finally gave up.

"I purchased a camera lens from this company before reading the reviews on this site and was very concerned about my order. I called them and told them my concern and they said my lens had already been shipped. I called back a few days later to get a tracking number and my order arrived within the week. Although the first guy I talked to about my order was not all that friendly, the next person was very helpful. I am not sure if I would buy from this reseller again, but at least in this case they were as good as any other company on the internet...As always...BUYER BEWARE!!"

"Well I was in the look for buying a canon gl-1. i looked for the lowest prices, but all were gray-market. so i decided to buy with MPSuperstore. BAAAAAAAAD Idea. First i ordered my camera with one sales rep and and he said it will be there on monday. (I ordered on thursday and I ordered overnight delivery too.) Well I call him back 20 mins later about the billing address and he said everythings OK. Monday. No Package. Called up and spoke with a different sales rep and she said the order never went through and she would do it right then. Tuesday. No Package. Called them up and talked to a different sales rep and she also said the order never went through..well she put it through that day because i checked my balance. Wednesday. No package. Ok now i am really Pi$$ed so i call up and the lady said it had been shipped to Hawaii (the billing address that I called back and changed on thursday.) She said that was the only address in the computer...WHAT? Then she starting saying things about how my husband called and said some things. I dont have a husband. I hung up and after realizing it i called back and asked what my "husband" said. She said he said that if there is a problem with the virginia address ship it to the hawaii address. Bull. They said they will get the package back MAYBE monday and then i have to call her and tell her if i want to recieve it or get a refund. I want my refund. Screw these people I would not want anything from these scammers.
