"MP Superstore (aka Marine Park) is absolutely the worse to conduct business with. I ordered a sony Vaio Tr2 but they shipped the wrong item. They never reimbursed me for the cost of sending the wrong item back to them, a mistake that they clearly made. When I complained and asked for reimbursement, they said "what do you expect? You still got a good deal." Clearly, this company has no idea about customer satisfaction. Buyer beware !!!! These guys are dishonest and do not deserve your hard earned money. Look elsewhere for your purchase. You won't regret it. Learn from my mistake."
" I ordered camera SONY DCR-PC115 online, website says that it's in stock and ready to ship. I waited for 2 days, I get no respond or e-mail, I called the store, and they told me that camera is out of stock. I had to canceled the order. They didn't offer any upgrade or anything."
"On 12/1/03 I ordered a Sigma zoom lens online, as Pricegrabber listed them as having the lowest price. On 12/2 I was called by Marine Park staff to "upgrade" my order to a different lens. Stupidly, I agreed. That evening, I referenced the lens "upgrade" only to find it was higher priced at Marine Park than at any other store...even my local Ritz Camera. I called the next morning to cancel my order, only to be told the order was in the warehouse, packaged, ready for shipment. I consented to let the order stand...stupid me again. I have now called seven times and been told 6 of the 7 times the order has been shipped. Thus far, I have received only a UV filter (wrong size) that I did not order. Customer service requires long waits on hold and multiple transfers. The store is only open Mon-Thu & Sun with limited hours, even during holiday season. I will NEVER order from Marine Park again.

"Marine Park was helpful in my purchase. They had great prices, and good knowledge of the product. Definitely a "will buy again" store."
"I received an email requesting phone contact before processing the order. Heavy sales pressure was applied to make me order accessories. When I refused and complained, the salesperson canceled order. I had to talk to an supervisor on a separate call to reinstate the order. Again I was asked to buy accessories. But the supervisor was kind enough to finally let the order go through.
Beware of any merchants requiring a call. If they don't sell you anything, it's only a waste of time. The advertised price is only a bait to sell you high-margin stuff on the phone.

"STAYAWAYFROM THESE PEOPLE.
I placed my online order on Dec 5th and even called right after to confirm the order. I couldnt check order status because their status check DOES NOT WORK. Then I call in, and they CS says my order was a blank order. Said that they didn't receive my order. did not offer any apologies. ASked me if I wanted to re-order. I said no, please cancel the order. she said ok.
Then I din out two days later that my order has shipped! However I had already placed the same order with another company already.
Duh, crooks!"
"I purchased a CD/MP3 player from MPSuperStore. They sent me an order number but when I checked their website it said my order didn't exist. I wondered if it had been cancelled.
I later noticed my credit card had been charged. I called to find out why my order still didn't exist on their website. They said it had already been shipped. She then put me on hold and came back saying there was a delay at the manufacturer. I asked if I could cancel my order. She *immediatly* said "Ok, your order has been cancelled." without even a hesitation after my question.
I ordered the CD player somewhere else. I got the second one I ordered ..as well as the one I had cancelled from MPSuperStore plus a hefty UPS shipping fee of 59$. I will try to return it, but I'll have to pay the 59$ plus more to ship it back.
They are liars and crooks."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They have extremely pushy salespeople who are downright rude and obnoxious. When I called back to cancel my order (after reading the reviews here), they never credited my credit card! Now I have to battle with them to get my money back on an order I cancelled hours after I placed the order!
BUYER BEWARE!
Go to a big namebrand place like pcmall or pcconnection.

"I had a great experience with this store. I placed an order on Thursday, 11/6/03 for a Canon EOS Digital Rebel with Lens. I received a phone call from one of their sales guys on Sunday, 11/9/03 who claimed that he wanted to confirm my order. In reality, I think that he just wanted to sell me some accessories and an extended warranty. I declined each one of his offers and he politely confirmed that I should be receiving my order in 7-10 days. I received my package on Tuesday 11/11/03. Everything arrived just as described on their website. I would say that getting the sales call after the order is kind of annoying but if you purchase a camera at Circuit City, their sales people also try to sell you accessories and an extended warranty. This store has great prices and service. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience. "
"Purchase EOS Digital Rebel. Excellent price with 20% coupon. Delivery as promised. One WORST exception is customer service... waited on phone almost 20 min."
"On 11/12/03 MP Superstore was advertising with MSN in their "12 Days of Deals" promotion offering 20% off all PDA's. I purchased 2 PDA's and on the final price confirmation they would not honor the 20% discount. They stated the promotion was over. It did not matter that the MSN promotion was still active and MP Superstore's advertisement was still listed."
"Beware.
These guys are crooks!
They will try to sell you overpriced options. Delivery is very slow. They don't have good control and I was shipped twice the same product. When returning the product the refund to my creditcard was slow and wrong.
Don't buy there. It will cost you more than you think!"
"I read the ratings on this site and was concerned about ordering from this reseller but found that just about every company with a lowball price on a digital camera had low ratings. My experience with MPSuperstore was excellent. I ordered a Nikon coolpix 4300 and received it two days later. I wasn't pressured into buying anything extra and got the brand new camera with no wait. I wouldn't hesitate to order another camera from MPSuperstore."
"They said: "Yes, we have Canon 10D IN STOCK"
They said: "in 2-4 weeks you will receive it"
After 8 weeks, they said: "Next week you will receive..."
2 months, and nothing, I paid for it, they do not cancel my purchase, do not give my money back and do not send my camera."
"Well I too bought a camera (a canon g2) from this site because it claimed it was brand new with a USA warranty. I can't really confirm whether it has a USA warranty because it didn't come with a warranty card. Anyway, like the other guy who posted here said, this camera was obviously used. My first picture showed up as img_0297.jpg so I'm guessing it was a store return. It also didn't have the plastic cover on the lcd which I know for a fact all Canon cameras come with and it had obviously been "handled." When I called them on it the salesperson basically told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that mpsuperstore.com was the main supplier of cameras on the east coast.(LOL)
Basically, you should never purchase anything for these people.
P.S. $35 for ground shipping for a small camera is a total rip-off. It costs $7 at the most via UPS and that's with insurance. I think they use this as an addon to their restocking fee."
