"Horrible time with them. Ordered a Canon Powershot camera for a friend for his birthday/graduation. Ordered the Camera on the 12th. Got an email on the 22nd saying that item was backordered/out of stock and that they will ship it asap. I called and said since this was required urgently I would go to local costco and pick it up. So I canceled order on the phone and they said that that was ok and that everything would be taken care off. Next day i go to costco pick up camera and give it to my friend (by this point birthday had already passed so didnt want to delay any longer). On June 25th they ship the camera (they charged my credit card on 12th). I call and say why havent i received my credit and why did you ship the camera. They said they would refund me immediately and i should "reject" the shipment so it would go back to sender. I did that and they recieved the shipment on 4th of July. I still had not recieved a credit. After many many calls and much debating they credited me on the 18th of July, more than a month since they charged me and nearly a month after I canceled my order. Just leaves a horrible taste in your mouth."

"YOU ARE MAKING A MISTAKE IF YOU BUY FROM THIS STORE!! I placed an order for a camcorder online but had to call them to listen to an extremely pushy sales pitch for accessories before they would place the order. I politely declined all accessories and they claimed to place the order but through verification from my bank, they never did. Instead they claimed that my bank declined my card but I swear to you this is false and I use that card nearly every day. Plus, my bank stated that they never received a transaction of any kind from them. When I called them to relay what my bank said, they quickly hung up on me. "

"I placed an order for a television on 6/17/05. On 6/19 I received an email asking that I furnish additional information by telephone - I immediately did so. Time passed; I heard nothing. On 6/24 I inquired and was advised that the television would be shipped on 6/27 and that I would receive an email confirming shipment. That did not occur. Last evening I emailed another inquiry - so far, no response to that. This morning, 6/28, I again inquired by telephone and was advised that I would now need to speak to someone else in charge of television orders at another telephone number (not the customer service number). I am now advised that that person will call me later today with the "status" of my order. Oh, yes, they did charge my credit card on 6/19/05. I intend to cancel this order and not do any further business with these folks."

"I will NEVER buy from this company again after having been blatantly lied to 3 times.

I orderd a digital camera and was assured that the camera was in stock. It apparently wasn't as a week later, I received an email (which looked like spam) telling me to call them. They blamed Olympus for taking a long time to send it to them. If you don't have the camera, why did you tell me it was "in stock?"
I followed up this call with several others where I was told that "the item is on its way from Olympus," or that it was "in the final processing stages." Finally, after 4 wks, I cancelled my order.

Never an apology, never an attempt to make things better. This is an unprofessional company that does not deserve your business.

I wish I had done research before placing my order, because if I did, I would have seen that a LOT of other customers have had similarly bad experiences with MPSuperStore.

Shopping with Marine Park Superstore is NOT "like a walk in the park."

"This company is absolutely ridiculous, please please please do not order anything from them! i fell into all of the same traps as other users. Called the 800 #, ended up buying super advanced, high tech memory and warranty. They still have not shipped my camera, and it is 2 weeks later. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and YOU SHOULD TOO! This is a horrible horrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Beware... They cancelled my online camcorder order without notifying me. I called customer service and they said my order had been lost in the transfer to the server??? Okay... So I tried to reorder it again with a live salesperson and as soon as I said I didn't want any extras...I was put on hold. After about 5 minutes the sales person person came back on and he would call me back which of course he never did. The bottom line is...they don't honor their low prices. The only want your order if they can upsell you on the overpriced accessories. Stay away!"

"this company is fraud. looked at the website showed the item (camera)in stock. Called camera was in stock. Received a call back for confirmation charged my credit card and then sent an email that we had a data entry error and the camera is not in stock and can not be deliverd. The FAQ on the site says the card is charged when the item is ready for shipment.

Known by many other names Marine park etc. Don't believe the pricing and never buy anything from them.

"Worst online experience ever. I should have took heed in all the reviews here. Recently i ordered a digital camera from them which came with a cracked lcd screen. Returned it the next day with RMA number. Get a call from them 2 weeks later saying they cant return it without some packaging box!!! The general manager (david waters) was extremely rude... it was obvious that customer service is not a priority there. Anyways i have filed a complaint with the BBB and hopefully get this resolved. TRUST ME DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. "

"I ordered a Nikon Coolpix 5400, and like many other people, for the price and because i needed a camera after my A80 was stolen. I recieved a prompt e-mail the next day about my order and they asked me to call one of their representatives Fred. I called the day after that (thurs) and was redirected many times put on hold once and the line cut. So i tried again, the people who took calls could have been little more polite, but this time i got to Fred. I told him my order number and confirmed my address. Everything seemed done and before i hung up he said "by the way i noticed you didn't have batteries..." and such and such. i politely declined and he was not very pushy to sell. I asked him how long it would take to ship he replied "7-10 days". so i wait.

I waited about a week before i emailed them asking about my order. I recieved an email back saying my item is being "nationally allocated". Few days later I emailed them again and recieved an email saying that my item was out of stock and they were expecting a shipment in the next day (monday mar. 14th). I got a tracking number in my email on monday and recieved the camera on friday afternoon (end of my spring break). So in the end it took over 2 weeks to arrive. But i guess i can say i'm satisfied, assuming the rebate will come back, of course.

i find out that mpsuperstore is not a nikon authorized reseller. according to these reviews they are horrible with item returns, so i don't think i'll return it... i wonder if i will ever see my $200 again. =(

"I purchased an HP IPAQ rx3115 from these guys. I first read the ratings here before I purchased and saw all the negative ratings. However, I decided to go ahead and take the risk. I received the usual confirmation email asking me to call them. However, I was out of town so I never called them back. By the time I checked on it, it had already shipped. However, when I received the package, it said "REMANUFACTURED" all over it. The website had never stated that and I looked very carefully. I went back and checked out the site and it never said anything about remanufactured. Called them and they just said that is how it is. They said if I wanted to pay a higher price, I could get a new one. I told him the site had lied to me and he directed me to a different site(a different one than I purchased from) and said to check this site out. This different site said "REMANUFACTURED" - but how could I have known this since I didnt purchase from this site."

"Ordered a digicam from them, thinking it was the best deal around. I get a confirmation email, and I wait for them to ship it out. But no updates from them so I decide to call their "customer service" live.

Well, first the lady on the phone didn't want to talk to me and tried to get me off the phone as quick as possible, while I had more questions to ask her. 2nd She tells me the item I ordered isn't in stock and it'll be there by the end of the week. I continued to ask her about the rebate the item offered and she was very rude.

So I waited a few days, then decided to try to email them about the issue. A day later I recieve an email stating "The item you orderd is being nationally allocated. We are expecting our next
allocation shortly. You will receive email confirmation once your package ships
out, including a tracking #. Thank you for your patience."

A day later I get this email "Your order has been CANCELED by your sales representative, Scott L..
If you feel this was done in error or need additional information please contact
Scott L. and he/she will be able to provide you with the details." Needless to say I was upset.

"Needed a new digital camera and had been considering one of the newer 8 megapixel cameras... double checked the reviews and prices of the 5 megapixel cameras at dpreview.com and almost shocked to find a $174.95 after rebate price for a Nikon Coolpix 5400 5.1 MP listed. Followed the link to mpsuperstore.com to check details... $374.95 but has a $200 rebate from Nikon until the end of March... Add $14.95 for shipping and still a pretty sweet deal.

Before I ordered checked out their rating here at resellerratings and disappointed to see all the complaints. Almost chicken out, but noticed many negative reviews based on buyers changing their mind, trying to return item, credit card from out of US, etc. Also knew I wouldn't change my mind halfway thru and I'd turn down any offers of packages or upgrades at the dreaded phone call... so gave them a chance.

Ordered later on Monday (2/28/05) and received a prompt confirmation of order email. On Tuesday received an email listed as sent by "Email", asking me to call Kenny G. and which included "There is some additional information that is needed to complete the processing of your order." I called up the 800 number and extension listed for Kenny, and got him on the first try! I was very polite, but almost tense waiting for him to strong arm me as other reviewers had cautioned. He asked if this was my first digital camera... Me: "No, I'm very knowledgable about them." Kenny: "Where did you learn about our store/site?" Me: "Online at one of the review sites like, bizrate, nextag and resellerratings". I went on to mention, calmly and politely, that I had almost not ordered from them after I had read some of the negative reviews at these sites talking about strong selling of additional packages, etc. He calmly (and correctly) stated he hadn't try to push anything on me. Quick call, went very well.

Received email notice of shipping on Thursday (3/4/05) from "QuantumView" at UPS including a tracking number. Package arrived on the next Tuesday (3/8/05). Item was in perfect condition, properly packaged and appeared to be never opened and just how Nikon had packed it. Camera works great... just what I had expected.

I've sent off the rebate offer paperwork to Nikons rebate contact with UPC codes and such... It will be weeks until I get back anything so can't comment on that yet. Although shipping took a couple days longer than some other online merchants I've worked with, assuming everything goes well with the $200 rebate... I will be very happy with this purchase from mpsuperstore.com
