Not only did she quickly and politely make our return, but went into the floor near to search for correct sizing. We sincerely hope Macy's mgmt appreciates this employee. We certainly do! "I've submitted 3 rebate forms at the same time and macy's processed only 2 saying they haven't received my third form. I've a USPS receipt and copy of the forms as proof that I've sent in the mail. And now they are asking me to send the forms again over the mail. Just for small of rebate amount macys give us back how any mails I've to send them. All of my rebate offer amount will go for the mailing costs, if I resend them again and again. I asked them if there is an email or fax were I can email them but they are saying NO and they want the copy documents over the mail only. How can Macy's will guaranty me that they will receive my mail for the second time? Are they expecting to mail these rebate forms with certified tracking which costs $10 to get $8 rebate amount? Is this the way Macy's provide services to their customers? I feel this like a scam by Macy's to avoid rebate offer payments. I never recommend Macy's to any of my friends or family. Many times Kohls processed my rebate forms without any issues. This is the first time with Macy's and very bad experience. Don't fall into trap with Macy's rebate offers."

"Ordered online a $650.00 pair of earrings (Supposedly $1,600 retail) and when they arrived they were in a zip lock bag like then one you would get at a deli when you buy a pound of ham.I can not believe Macys could be so cheap and disrespectful of their customers to ship this way and not at least put them in a .25 cent cardboard box. I was in the Freehold NJ store in early Dec. and could not believe the sparse item selections and the condition of the stock on display.I contacted Macys customer NON service and all I have heard back are crickets. Have had a Macys card since 1985 and have seen a steady decline in the stores and quality of their stock in the stores. I think it is time to say good bye to this declining store'. "I ordered 3 items in same order. During the checkout, Macys system did not ask my shipping address as I had my shipping address in the record, I didn't think they would use the old shipping address neither. When they emailed me order confirmation, I noticed they actually used wrong shipping address. To correct the issue, I contacted 5 customer rep with a hope that someone knows how to correct it as the items were not shipped yet. First they told me they can change the shipping address by rerouting it after shipping. I called after shipping and then they told me they cannot reroute it and I should wait until delivery and they will refund my money. In the last email, they told me to contact the local post office in IL!!! I still don't have the items and wasted so much time with this. Macy’s customer service is truly the worst. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated."

"The furniture arrived broken. I made 2 calls offering to send photos of the broken furniture. My offers were declined. I was told that in order to get a refund, I had to ship it back. I managed to pack up the broken furniture which they received at their warehouse and didn't refund me for the shipping charges. More time on the phone with Macy's to get refunded.
In summary: one piece of broken furniture cost me hours of packing up broken furniture and about 2.5 hours on the phone with Macy's. They could have quickly fixed this issue, but they drew it out. I will never again purchase for delivery from Macy's. I do not trust their processes.
Also, of note, their policies are problematic, especially because they discriminate against older and handicapped people. I am 60 years old, female, and short. Packing up a heavy piece of broken furniture was a big deal.
Even more, the furniture I received was poorly packaged. I am still picking up tiny fragments of styrofoam from everywhere in my home. This type of packaging is irresponsible in 2019 with global warming at our door."

3rd recieved the wrong size after waiting a almost a week .

"Caution...if you use a gift card along with another payment(cash, bank card, etc) and you attempt to make a return they will only give you partial money back and partial back on to a gift card. I paid $33 from my bank card and when I returned something that was $17 they split it $7 back to my card and $10 to a gift card. If the value is under the amount of "cash" I paid, I should get that portion back. Ridiculous policy that customers aren't made aware of. Even the way they calculate it is nonsense. Just shows Macy's is not considerate of returning peoples hard earned money."

"Upon calling up to Macy's customer service today, their customer service employee (Laura) that spoke to me and my mother on the phone was quite rude to both of us. When she spoke to me, it was like she didn't want to speak to me because she thought I was a child of 5 years old or something. As well as, when I had asked for a translator, she didn't answer my question as she just ignored it and asked if I had the statement in front of me. When asking for a translator the second time, the employee said "Oh my god" and sighed heavily. I was annoyed by this because it is not like I want to call and complain but I HAVE TO! At the time that she called for a translator, even the translator was rude asked "What did you call up for?!" as the employee did not inform the translator of the reason that he was needed in this situation. Nevertheless, Macy's kept sending statements upon statements to us asking for more money when an employee at the store specifically said that we only had to pay $20 and that was it. Yet, even after canceling the Macy's card, we get a bill saying that the amount is now up to about $300 as it skyrocketed in only a matter of 4 months. Macy's is not the ideal place to go or call for customer service when in need of assistance with there problems because they can't seem to handle such situations or difficulties. Customer service employee was impatient, wouldn't let me speak, and her response to my questions was as if she either didn't know the answer or didn't want to answer said question. After paying a significant amount, Macy's still demands us to pay for interest. THEIR MACY'S CARD WILL **** YOU INTO AN ENDLESS CYCLE OF PAYMENTS! DON'T APPLY OR REGISTER FOR THEIR MACY'S CARD!! It is strange how they want money from customers but the service is horrendous. In addition, the coupons that Macy's sends us don't work in the store; then for what reason is it to send customers coupons that don't work. It is ridiculous and a waste of paper. MACY'S IS AWFUL! THEY TREAT CHILDREN AND ADULTS AS IF THEY ARE NOTHING AT ALL! Keep in mind that... MACY'S IS THE WORST SHOP TO BUY ANYTHING FROM! DO NOT APPLY OR REGISTER FOR THEIR MACY'S CARD BECAUSE YOU'LL BE STUCK IN A CONTINUOUS CYCLE OF STATEMENTS!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTORE AND ON THE PHONE IS HORRENDOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! This has occurred too many times in store and on the phone for me to not make this complaint. If I could, I would give them a zero star rating because a one-star rating is being too generous and they don't even deserve that one measly star. I will NEVER go to this "shop" ever again!
