"I purchased a subscription of American Iron for my husband for Valentine's Day. It was also offered in Magazines.com ad that if the buyer would like to write a personal Valentine's message, it would be sent to the receiver of the subscription by Magazines.com For starters, my husband never received the message I wrote for him on Magazines.com's offer. He was to receive the first copy of American Iron on or by Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day came and went. My Valentine's message was never received from Magazine's.com. No first copy of American Iron was received on or by Valentine's Day. I contacted Magazines.com to find out why neither had been received. The agent "would look into it and follow up with me with what he found out". The agent never contacted me back. I waited a month, still no response. I called again. Same response, "I will look into it". I reminded him that he told me the same thing the last time and never called me back. He assured me he would look into it immediately and call me back. 3 months later, I call again. I am told that the supplier said I never paid for it, so it was never processed. The agent sent them a copy of my payment as proof that I had paid for it at time of purchase. "It will be taken care of right away. I promise". That didn't happen either. After many, many calls to Magazines. com, my husband finally received the first copy of American Iron the latter part of May. My Valentine message has still not been received. It ruined my Valentine's Day and embarassed me thoroughly that I arrived for "our date" empty handed, thinking that my husband received my message from Magazines.com that day as promised. Like I said, we are still waiting...and waiting, for him to receive my Valentine's message. I canceled all other subscriptions I had ordered with Magazines.com since I no longer had faith in their empty promises. And this, my friend, is why I will never buy from Magazines.com again. That's my promise to you. Now what are my odds in winning the mini iPad? You promise???"
