"I made an order for a New Yorker renewal subscription in December 2006 via Google Checkout. The company at that time was called SnappyMags.

The original subscription was from another magazine company (Delta mags or something like that). It is now July 2007 and the renewal has not kicked in but my credit card has been charged and I'm not able to dispute the charges since the charge was made more than 3 months ago.

Luckily, I lost only about $6. I have tried calling the company and their mailbox is full. A very unfortunate experience.

Do not order from Snappy Mags, Halfpricedmags, or my1mags. They're all the same company.

"Warning! This site is a complete fraud. Magsforless should NOT be relied upon and is only out to steal your money. No way to contact company. 800# gives fast busy. Online contact form doesn't work. You only have 60 days to dispute via your credit card company. Start the process now. These guys should be shut down."

"FRAUD! BEWARE!
I placed an order in November using Google Checkout. No magazine recieved to date (5 months). They didn't respond to any of my inquiries. They didn't even respond to any of Google's inquiries (after I escalated to Google). CLASSIC FRAUD ARTISTS. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE ANYMORE MONEY TO THEM.

"STAY FAR AWAY! I wish I would have checked here for feedback before I placed an order with this scam company. I knew the first sign of trouble was when I went to check my order status and they couldn't find it. Then "Megan" from their "customer service" says to email them the original order which I did(with their email headers) which should have been sufficient enough for them to understand I ordered from them. They had no problem billing my credit card immediately for the $28 bucks. Luckily, I should be able to reverse the charge/contest it with my credit union/credit card. DO NOT USE MAGSFORLESS! You will be RIPPED OFF!"

"I ordered 2 magazine subscriptions from them last July. Neither ever came. I've been contacted from them 3 times now offering to either put a rush on the order or give me my money back. I'm pretty sure this means: they'll either refund my money or put me off for another 3 months until they ask again. Every time, I've said put a rush on the order and waited 3 months for another email saying the same thing. I wonder how long the can keep this up... it's been 9 months (3 emails) so far.

"Ordered two magazines and never received them. Called the magazine publishers and they never received the order, either. I would like a refund or the magazines. E-mails to the company have either gone unanswered, bounced, or, one time I got a form letter from "Andrew Melville" saying he wanted me to respond to him if my issue was not resolved. I did and it bounced. That was back on 1/11/07."

I have tried to contact the company using ****@**** on three separate occasions and have not received any response. I would strongly advise all people to avoid using this company. "I must add myself to the list of people scammed by this company - I ordered two magazine subscriptions from them in August of 2006. The "latest delivery date" went by in early December, and despite all of my attempts to contact them, I have not recieved ANY support or response - of ANY kind.
I have filed a mail fraud report with the USPS - to my understanding, what they are doing is a federal offense. You may consider doing so as well.

"I ordered a magazine on 11/24/06 with a subscription start date of between 1/5/07 and 2/2/07 which I have not received.

When I tried to contact them to inquire on the status my order, I sent it to their "Customer Service" site which was returned as an invalid address. After checking their site, there was NO customer service link except to check order status. So if there is a problem with your order, you're out of luck!

Don't check my word, just look at the others who have sent reports on this site--don't order from them!
