They requested a photo, so I sent one, but I'm not sure how that will help, since it's still in the vehicle wheel well cover and 85% covered. I appreciate them getting back, but I'm not confident about the outcome."

"Before making the drive to my Toyota dealership, I looked up the prices for the car parts I would need on that specific dealership website. Luckily, the car parts were on sale because Christmas and New Years' has just passed, and so I was hoping that I would get a price match. I go into the parts section and before I paid for it, I checked the document of how much I would be paying and the price was MSRP price. I was a little worried so I asked if they could price match their OWN ONLINE dealership website. I was REJECTED and decided to cancel the order for the part.
In a time of a pandemic where a customer who needs to save some money but decides to use some for a car that they really need (maybe it is their only car and it needs to fix DIY style or just want genuine Toyota parts on their car).
This makes me think that the sales workers are unaware of their own prices.
Am I being cheated with the prices?
Do I want to even own/ do business with a Toyota brand?
Was the Toyota part sales representative having a bad day and did not want to price match?
Is there a reason why they cannot price match with their own dealership website?
This makes me think less of Toyota as a brand despite its reliability. "
