However, immediately after initially finding MLS on the web, I received a directed, sponsored ad in my Facebook feed which offered a 10% discount. I thought, "Great!". When I went to check out, I tried to use the code but it indicated the code was not valid. I called the sales line and the agent said the coupon was not valid for less than $125. My purchase was for $124.95. Seriously?? This restriction was not in any way indicated in the ad they sent me on FB. He said there was no other code he could provide me. I purchased the products anyway but I have to say, they are off to a bad start with me. I mean, it's not the $12.50....though it is that too...it mostly just came across as kinda sleazy. Anyhoo....I normally would not have written about this but immediately after completing my purchase, they invited me to write a review so, for what it's worth, here it is.
** Update: OK, I didn’t expect this but the President of MLS replied to my comment, apologized for my experience and provided me with a 20% discount on my order. Now that is customer service! I wasn’t really mad about the experience; mostly just surprised and it sounds like it was just a glitch. I also got a call from a customer service person who just wanted to make sure everything is ok. They took me from disappointed and a little bewildered to super satisfied in roughly an hour. Also, I opened the online course material I purchased and it’s great! Good on you, MLS and, thank you!!"

"I was extremely satisfied with the process of taking my element 1 & 3 exams for the (GROL) License I got to do it on the weekends on my own time which made it nice because most places only let you test during business hours with Mariners Learning Systems they let you do it on your own time and it makes it convenient for the working human that can't take time off work so I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get there FCC license "
