"glasses arrived two weeks ago with broken frames. I contacted Marvel the same day and several days later was asked for a photo of the broken frames which I provided. More than a week since then I have not received a response to several phone calls which are never answered and go to voice mail and no response to emails. Since the packaging was not damaged it appears the frames were broken when they sent them."
"I created an account and purchased glasses over 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from them. I've called them over 20 times with no response and no person on the other end. I also emailed them 4 times and I only get a generic email returned. When I tried to login to see the status of my order I did not remember my email. They have already charged me and I have no way of knowing if my order will come or if I will ever get a refund. They will not communicate with you and they also have terrible ratings on Better Business Bureau. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

"They tell you that there's 10-14 business days for processing before it is shipped, then 3-5 business days for shipping. It took 18 business days for it to ship. I got my glasses an entire month after I ordered them. The frames are not as pictured as well. They look completely different from what I thought I was getting. At least my rx is right?"
"Used my prescription from my personal eye care and ordered safety glasses with transition lenses. Don't get as dark as hoped for but turn back to normal much faster than other glasses from another internet provider. Came within a couple weeks and the prescription is perfect for my needs. I see others have had issues but my experience was great. Would use again and telling the guys in the shop where to get inexpensive prescription safety glasses."

"I ordered two pairs of safety glasses. One was a regular pair and the other red tinted sunglasses. I bought them first, read the reviews after. I tried to cancel within a day but didn't hear back from customer service. I wasn't emailed a receipt but my card was charged immediately. After about a week, I tried to cancel again, got a reply immediately saying you have to cancel within 24 hrs.
After 2 weeks I was worried, but I got them in exactly three. They came in separate envelopes so at first I was worried I only got one pair, but they both came. The red is REALLY red, but they're both great for the jobsite, I think.
I'd probably buy another pair from them. I'm not trying to pay $300 for glasses when everyone else with normal eyes gets them for free. These seem fine and they are lighter than my normal glasses, good for athletic stuff."

I purchased a prescription sport glasses from Marvel Optics. That I used for work , safety glasses. Normal day to day use, and the frames cracked and broke. This happen just after a few months of use and purchase. I contacted this company with the pictures and the explanation of with normal use. Not used in sports!!!!!. They actually used that against me. That I used the sport glasses normally. They refused to replace or refund. Horrible Experience, horrible company. KARMA is powerful !"
"I bought glasses from Marvel Optics that didn't fit. They suggested which glasses I should go with, which were children's glasses that would fit the width of my face. The arms of the glasses were way too small for me. They didn't even reach to my ears. I asked for a refund they said to send them back which I did along with the original case and the cleaning cloth as instructed. I sent them back within 3 days. Of the money I paid for my progressive lenses I only received a $13.95 refund. I contacted Marvel Optics to ask for my full refund which was $45 because it took them 3 months to make my first pair of glasses they had taken half off of the price of $89. I understand they have a 25% restocking fee but I still should have received more then $13.95 of a refund. When I called customer service they said they would issue me the full refund that I was allowed and they did not issue me a refund. So needless to say my experience with them was horrible. My first set of glasses as I stated took 3 months to arrive. Then they selected which frames they thought were best for me. They should have known that being children's frames that they would have had shorter arms on them. What I'm most upset about is the customer service representative that said they would straighten out the situation and didn't!"
"I tried to buy sunglasses from Marvel Optical. Ten days later I get an E-mail telling me they are out of stock on the glasses I tried to buy. Apparently it took 10 days to figure this out. Marvel Optical also said they tried to contact me via phone, which was a lie in that no such number appeared on my caller ID. So I wasted all my time and effort trying to buy glasses from a seller that can't deliver what they sell. I'm requesting a refund, but I suspect they will prove incompetent with that, too, so I be to waste more time with my credit card company. If this sounds like fun to you, try to buy glasses for Marvel Optical. Caveat emptor."
"Ordered gray prescription sunglasses. They came and they were blue. They asked for photo. I sent photo. They acknowledged the problem and said they would expedite. I explained I needed for cross country trip and they assured me the replacement would be here in time. Didn't arrive until some time after I left. When I got home and received glasses, they too were blue and not polarized. I requested refund. They said to send back both pair with tracking. I sent back glasses. They promised refund in 7 business days. It didn't come. I called again. Promised refund by end of week. Next week, still no refund. I called at 11:00 AM and they said no one in refund department is in yet. They'll call back. Not holding my breath!"
