I have no idea who these people are, so googled them and checked reviews, was shocked to learn they are taking people's money and not shipping product! I have also learned they have rebranded and resurfaced as Jewelry Habit. There is no way to contact them to demand removal of my products, this makes me sick! "I ordered from max and Chloe probably around the time they first got up and running which was about 2 and a half years ago. (2014) I ordered a gold tone bracelet from them and I loved it so much that I wore it down its funeral! Their service was perfect and not to mention they shipped my bracelet out almost immediately. Recently, it finally broke after getting caught onto a fence and being yanked too hard, but the color was fading out anyway so I came back in hopes that I could reorder a brand new one...surprisingly, the bracelet is still on the site 2 and a half years later. I actually accidentally ended up on this review site after heading to the checkout on Max & Chloe's full site and noticing that their check out button is now replaced with an "under construction" notice instead, but it's weird because the mobile site still allows you to check out all the way through..hmm? Well after a quick search and reading these reviews, I'm pretty glad that I didn't place the order from the mobile site, something seemed fishy and there's obviously something deeper going on with their business that no one knows of but them...hopefully they can get everything situated so that customers can get their money back and feel comfortable ordering from them again. (including myself) This is actually very disappointing because they are one of the few sites ive ordered from with better quality items for a decent price point. Max and Chloe, I do hope that you guys get another chance to redeem yourselves from all the upset individuals below! "
"Two items from order never received. Only one legit response when contacted and like others here reported, customer service number does not work, e-mail goes unanswered. Multiple attempts over months for delivery or refund and nothing , all the while website still showing these items available. If you read BBB reports, even suppliers have gone unpaid. I don't understand how they have not been shut down."

The site looks legit, however there is no answer when I call. I receive a message that says the number is not accepting calls at this time. I am trying now to cancel my order through my bank to see if I can get my money back. "

"Back in November 2015 I put in an order with them. As of April 2016, I still have not received my merchandise. They did manage to charge my card right away though. Since that time I have tried to call, email and submit online forms to get an answer or cancel the order but get no response. When I call, the phone either rings and rings or says this number cannot accept incoming calls. This is not a legit business and I want my money back!"

"I recently ordered a pair of earrings off this site. After not receiving a shipment notification for a few days, I contacted them. Although I didn't receive a direct or personal response regarding my concern, they sent me an email with a tracking number, which I was fine with. I waited for this item to be delivered and on the delivery date the tracking number updated saying the item was undelivered and will be sent back to the company. Confused, I called and emailed the company several times to no avail. Finally I just decided to cancel the order and reorder it since it was the only site offering the earrings. BIG MISTAKE. I placed the order a week ago and have sent probably ten emails and five voicemails and have not heard anything regarding the status of my item. The money it out of my account, but I am left with nothing thus far. And to make it even better, their phone line is no longer working. If I could give -0 stars, I would. "
"I bought a pair of stunning Tang & Song earrings from their site last year. They were more than I wanted to pay, but I was impressed when I received the earrings. I've been trying for over 2 weeks to order 2 pair of the same earrings in different colors as gifts for my employees who have worked for me for 20 years. When I try to submit the order a message comes up that the Global payment system ID numbers are incorrect. I've called at least 6 times, left 3 messages on their voicemail and sent 4 emails. Have not received the 1st reply. Wonder if they're out of business? I can't find these earrings anywhere else. They're beautiful but their customer service ****. "

"My husband ordered a pair of earrings for me. Several weeks later the stone had popped off of the earring. I then sent it back to Max and Chloe and they said they would repair it and send it back. After months of dealing with them and calling almost/emailing almost every day they told me they lost the earrings in their facility. Instead, they issued a credit to my account. When I placed an order for another item they never shipped it out. I am still trying to get this credit back from them so they can give me my money and it has almost been a year. I regret every placing an order with this company and advise everyone to stay away. No one answers the phone and when they do they take down your information and no one ever calls back."

"Beware this company. My dealings with the company make me wonder if the site is in fact a scam. I ordered an initial pendant for my wife and was charged, and even confirmed with the company my exact order.
Two months later, after numerous calls and emails (and a complaint to BBB) a representative told me there was a manufacturer's problem. She could not explain why my calls and emails weren't answered. Save yourself the trouble and order from another site!"
"In September, I requested approval to return 3 items worth about $200. I got the approval and returned the merchandise. According to FEDEX, they received the merchandise 2 days after I sent it. Did not get an email from them acknowledging the return. Every few days, I called and leave messages and got no response. I've sent emails and nothing. They have my money and now the merchandise. I'm asking that they at the very least return the merchandise, because at this point I'm out everything. I am at a loss as to what to do about this situation, as this has never happened to me before. Do I give up or keep trying to contact them?
Update: I never heard from the company. I filed a BBB complaint against them, that they ignored. My online account was altered by them. According to them I gave a review on the very item I returned. The refund they credited to me was $74 short. Great company as long as you don't have to return anything. If you return anything you'll get no acknowledgement or refund, unless you make a fuss. If you make a fuss, you may get a partial refund, if you are lucky. It was a horrible experience, I'll never purchase anything else from them and I hope to take a few potential customers with me on my way out.
Update: Out of curiosity, I checked the M & C website. The business has changed names, They are now going by Jewelry Habit. These are the same ripoff artists from Max and Chloe. Beware, beware, beware!"
"No Star!!!! Ordered a necklace on Sept. 28 and paid for it online. They took my money and as of yet Oct. 9 did not receive my order. Also, called them on Oct. 7 and they said that the order never went through and they would call me about it. They never called and I called them on the 8th and they said they were sorry and would send it out that night. They never sent it out and I called again on Oct. 9 and they would call me back and let me know what happened and they never called me back. They have my money and I do not have my necklace. I went on Ripoff Report and posted a report. I am now going to call my credit card and let them get my money back because they wouldn't even refund my money."
