"I bought an Aishuo S2, which after a short time went bad ..no fix. I sent the tablet back with a tracking number. It arrived in China January 10, and a delivery was attempted.
That is where McBub just bowed out.
I sent them e-mail after e-mail trying to get someone to check the local post authority to pick up the tablet. No real response other than broken English saying : we will find, do not worry".
This went on till CNY set in. No resolution.
Three days ago I got the package back ..empty. Apparently it set in a post office long enough for someone to help themselves.
If McBub had just responded with some action, and someone who could communicate ..I might not be out 250.00.
Final note. The last two e-mails I have sent have received no reply. They are just ignoring me now.
Shame on you ..McBub.
Update on McBub. 2/18/12
I did finally hear from McBub. They have apologized for their lack of communicating with me properly. They have offered me a large discount on a future tablet purchase.
As i said at the beginning of this ordeal, I had the sense that McBub was sincere and wished to do the right thing. With that desire, I am sure this experience will help them in that goal.
I will report back soon on how well things go from this point forward. Hopefully things are good with McBub again.

"Mcbub sent me 2 non-working pads, and a watch that was broken. They refuse to issue a refund, or RMA.
When you tell them about the problem or ask for a refund they say "That is normal" or "our engineer told that its normal and can be adjusted."
The items are broken!! how can there be an adjustment??
ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK!! THEY ARE DISHONEST AND WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING BACK!!"
"mcbub is a very honest , reliable and awesome company.
They send the product, if defect, they send it back (the problem is just that we have to pay the package back to China! but..ok..)
when the product doenst come back, they give you credits back (very nice)

"I really like buying from McBub.com..
The service is GREAT..
I love the prices..
When i need help, Helen is always there to help me everytime.
There is no better online company out there than McBub.com"
"They sell knockoffs or as they call it "copies". Their customer service is terrible and shipping is rediculous. Ive emailed them 6 times about 2 products that ive been waiting over a month for. These people are ripoffs. The first thing i ever ordered was the wrong color and they sent me through a loop trying to return it. They said if i ordered something else that they would replace the other thing an it would be shipped faster. Bulls$@!"
"Run! I find the company to be a scam! I ordered a Samsung tablet, can't find a logo anywhere. Received the product and it powered up once and never again. Now they want me to ship the item back for a refund, but not to use any mail carriers that would have a tracking number. Their excuse is customs on their side would be a problem if I use anything else other then US international mail (can't track it once it gets to China). I've asked to exchange with their LA office, but they don't seem to understand (language barrier). Do yourself a favor pay a little extra and buy at a real store or a legit website. I tried to leave a bad review on their website..surprise, surprise they don't except bad reviews. LOL what a joke!"
"I bought the New Security Realtime GPS/GSM/GPRS Tracker Watch Style GSM Wrist Watch Cell phone. The watch is a piece of Sh*t. The GPS coordinates are inaccurate by about 4 KM. It has no programable interface, there is no setup program, all commands are issued to the phone VIA SMS. What an archaic system!!!! This safety device, upon which your loved ones life may depend, is NOT waterproof!!! Forget about your child or Alzheimer's suffering parent wearing this for security!!! The only time it will be needed is when they are outside, exposed to the elements, lost! NOT WATERPROOF???? Are you kidding me? Immediately upon inspection of the unit, I emailed customer support for return merchandise information as I was not even close to satisfied with the quality and features and was not willing to allow the safety of my ailing father to rely on such a piece of sh*t. Their customer support is criminal!! They have refused to respond to my request for return merchandise information. I have emailed over a dozen times since I received the product and the period available to return the product has now expired. They have even refused to post my negative review of the product on their site! It may be cheap, but so are the people selling it!
PIECE OF SH*T"
"I've ordered from McBub several times now and I must say that they always impress me with the speed of shipping. Their prices are very good. Overall, the quality of their products is good; not Apple good, but still good. While the time difference is sometimes inconvenient, I've found that they usually answer offline messages within a day, so that's something. All in all, I would order from them again."
"My soon-to-be father in law wanted to purchase a tablet for his wife. So my fiancee and I decided to do some research and after careful consideration we decided to purchase from mcbub. My fiancee helped him make the purchase since he is not too computer savvy. From day one it has not been working. This company does not have a phone number to get a hold of them therefore everything is done through email. I have submitted numerous request for a FULL REFUND with no luck. Whenever i hear from them they tell me i can send the item back to them and they will send me a new one. WELL I DONT WANT A NEW ONE I WANT A FULL REFUND!!! I HAVE BEEN REQUESTING FOR A REFUND NOT A NEW ONE!!!! Meanwhile their 10 day full refund grace period is running out. If i dont hear from them within 1 day I will file a claim with Paypal. If paypal is no help then I will file a claim with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) to warn people to STAY AWAY FROM MCBUB. "
"I bought 2 tablets, ship to USA for gifts, shipping was fine. But the tablets themselves were very quirky and unpolished, they should not be sold.
Short story long: Purchased via Paypal for security reasons and now I'm glad I did.
I decided to try the units myself before I shipped them across the country to two lady's. I found myself in a mess trying to get both units to operate correctly and I'm a Google fan (bar none). Below is a copy of part of the complaint which Paypal got involved with due to no response from seller, none to this day! Mcbubb would not return any emails or live chats or phone calls. I called once and talked with a young man and he said some lady would call me the next day...she never did. I had to pay shipping to return the tablets $55us. The tablets are junk, absolutely not worth your time or money. This company is also bad news, I'm a very patient person but don't screw me. In the end I got the screw and lost return shipping, Paypal recouped the original invoice via credit card transaction. I do not recommend you buy anything direct from China, you will have hell trying to get things worked out.
Email to McBubb: To whom concerned you’ve forced me to take action with Paypal resolutions. This is my 3rd email to your company for a full refund of goods due to defective operation of tablets. These tablets are not even certified to access the Android Market and so they won’t. I’ve already talked with Google about this issue of access to the Android Market. The tablets themselves are actually defective; explanations are in the emails I’ve sent and are also below (Order info) for your review and reference. I’ve also contacted your company with the direct link on your website: “live chat” which is a email to anyone Mcbub!? Your site states I’ve 10 days from delivery to return and yet nobody responds on the defective tablets. I want a full refund and a return RMA for the defective tablets to your address. I will not pay for shipping of the defective tablets that do not function correctly and I do not want the same problems with replacement tablets.
I am having too much difficulty with the operation of both tablets working correctly and would like to return the tablets in the original boxes and packaging. I would like a full refund of monies back to Paypal. Please send me a RMA or tell me how to return the tablets, can they be returned to your California offices. No, I do not want replacement tablets. I want a full refund because the units are defective.
These tablets were to be gifts and the owners would have way too many problems trying to operate the units. These units should not be sold to anyone until the following problems have been corrected. I have 2 different Android phones running Android 2.3 and they don't have any of these problems, but they are not "rooted".
1st Tablet ~ Flytouch6 (problems): http://www.mcbub.com/item/10-2-inch-Wopad-V10--Flytouch-6--Android-2-3-Vimicro-VC882-512MB-4GB-WiFi-HDMI-GPS-Tablet-PC-CN107371--140827/
1) Tablet is rooted by your company and NOT compatible with the Android Market; I can't download music and movies from the Android Market.
2) I can't charge the unit with USB.
3) Display turned down low makes the screen flicker (I need it turned low to save energy) and don't want display to flicker.
4) Adobe Flash crashes tablet.
5) Wi-Fi drops and doesn't reconnect easily.
6) Cannot share and sink fully with Google correctly: sharing video or pictures can only be done blue-tooth.
7) Tablet crashes or locks up randomly.
2nd Tablet ~ McPad V7 (problems): http://www.mcbub.com/item/McPad-V7-Vimicro-VC882-A8-Android-2-3-Tablet-2-Points-Touch-512MB-4GB-1GHz--CN105619--139424/
1) Tablet is rooted by your company and is NOT compatible with the Android Market; I can't download books, music and movies from the Android Market.
2) I can't charge the unit with USB.
3) Display turned down low makes the screen flicker (I need it turned low to save energy) and don't want display to flicker.
4) Adobe Flash crashes tablet.
5) Wi-Fi doesn't reconnect easily and specially after tablet goes into sleep mode.
6) Cannot share and sink fully with Google account correctly: sharing video or pictures can only be done with blue-tooth, no email.
7) Tablet crashes/locks up randomly.
8) Tablet goes to Android Market but Android Market states: "no connection ~ retry"; I do retry and never connects back to market.
No, I do not want replacement tablets. I want a full refund because the units are defective.
***********WARNING DO NOT BUY ANYTHING DIRECT FROM THEM*********

"My Positive Experience With McBub.com.
"Vast Choices, Low Prices, Quick Shipping, Satisfy Seller Communication" Excellent Customer Service Representatives, With Mikki In China Exceeding Expectations I Was VERY PLEASED With McBub.com! Not Only Was The Prices Some Cheap, The Item Quality Was Excellent I Ordered a Ainol Novo7 Basic 7" Android MID Tablet. I Would HIGHLY RECOMEND McBub.com to Anyone!! It Has Been Less Than 2 Weeks Since my First Order and I'm Ready To Place an Another Order Again!!! McBub a 5 Star Seller*****"
"Hey there, let me tell you directly---I am a real, actual customer. I say this for many reasons.
First off and let me say, I am very happy with my tablet, a 7" Ainol Novo 7 Paladin. I just received it from DHL and thankfully, it is working so far, and everything is great. I'll update and write to McBub if anything DOES happen though.
Let me make a few statements though so everyone is educated before their purchase. As happy as I am with my tablet, I would not buy from McBub again. At least, not for my electronics. Let me make a few points as to why:
I am a very cautious person when I buy over the internet, especially from places outside the US. Take this into account for my paranoia and research:
1.) McBub does delete reviews under 4 stars on their website. Every single item they have that HAS a review, is a 5 star. I could not find a four star. It keeps their rating up and makes them look good.
2.) I'm not saying everyone isn't real who reviews on their site, but a lot of the same names in a row repeat. What are the chances of "DonMcDougal" posting right before "NatalieNygeun"? Or only 3 reviews and their names are "Michelle" "Mike" and "Mary"? 2 of these three names will write in broken English exactly the same, one in perfect English, and at least two of these repeated the same phrase. I know some companies fake reviews, and I know plenty who do, but this is so BLATANT that it worried me.
3.) Look out for an "erikson" name on android tablet forums. He's just recently registered, and only has 1 post per forum. Which means he registered just to post on that forum... I've seen at least 4-5 different forums where he's registered with 1 post... guess where? To post a review for McBub and promoting them and saying his purchase was great... in broken english. It just strikes me as odd. You're trying almost too hard to promote yourself.
4.) I'm a little upset because I ordered at 2:30 am on a Sunday morning... I was supposed to get an email saying when it had shipped out, but I never did. Wednesday, I find out... (I had opt'd for a 5 days or less DHL express delivery. it was ten bucks and spares you 15-30 days of worry) that it had been shipped out of China Monday morning and out for delivery. Woah there! That's super fast so kudos to McBub there. I'm just weirded out I got no notification---I had to go straight to their site and saw it was under "shipped".
5.) I wouldn't trust their packaging. I've seen unboxing videos and almost everybody's expensive electronics are in plastic bags and kinda bubble wrapped---but usually ripped and the box is dented. Mine was dented, but the tablet is fine. The bubble wrap was industrious, but I've seen it online where it's just the box in a damned plastic slip and it ends up ripping in the mail, and most of the Youtube videos have the boxes dented. That just bothers me because of it coming from such a long ways... I would never put my electronics through 15-30 days of that. I'd be terrified.
6.) Oh yes... you have to wait til around 10 pm EST to get in contact with anyone on Live chat, makes sense for being in China, no problem there. What gets me is, usually when you start a live chat, someone says, "Hi, how may I help you today?" no. Nothing at all. I'm not confrontational, even online, so I lit it sit there for a few minutes, but no one ever said anything. I eventually asked how long it took to process an order (when I was worried when I was left emailless about it shipping out) and "Helen" simply says "1-3 days 15-30 days to arrive". It was pretty bland and unpersonable. I don't know, if it was me, which I've worked in customer service before, I'd be out and beyond to make the customer happy and feel good. Anyways...
Maybe I'm being too critical. They did give me my package is a super timely and wonderful manner. I got a great tablet at a great price and I'm happy... but there's just so much that worries me about ordering from this company again. If you go on their Facebook, it's a lot of customer support and complaints.. not exactly what I want to see when I look for the professionalism of a company, and I've seen quite a few people go ignored---I was PRAYING this thing wasn't going to be DOA.
Also, note that McBub, I've read, has a $40 MINIMUM to return the item if it's broken... So, hopefully this doesn't die on me because I can't afford to ship it back.
LASTLY: I'D RECOMMEND MCBUB TO THE USA MOSTLY. I'VE READ A LOT OF THINGS ABOUT LISTING IT AS A GIFT AND SAYING IT'S WORTH IS ABOUT 30 BUCKS AND CUSTOMS ENDS UP MAKING PEOPLE PAY UP TO 250 JUST TO RECEIVE THE TABLET AFTER IT'S BEEN SHIPPED. I'd just be very very careful, I've read a HANDFUL of customs horror stories---but, customs have always scared me anyways, so...
Anyway, bottom line is: I like what I have, I got it cheap and quick, but buyer beware, and do so at your own risk.
I've given you all the information I can about the company and hope that you take it into account for future purchases.
Overall, I'm happy with my product, mixed about the company."
"Never purchase anything from McBub.com. They are the worst Customer Service experience I have ever had.
I purchased an Android tablet in September of 2011. It arrived three working days after I ordered it.
The power cord shorted after about two weeks, but the tablet was working ok. I noticed pretty quickly that the WIFI did not have nearly the range it advertised, so I went to Best Buy and bought a range extender for $65.
Three weeks in, the micro SD drive stopped working. I contacted their service department and began a series of frustrating conversations with them regarding the problems. For example, the power cord that had a short in it will be fixed by making them longer the next time they order more from their supplier. It was clear that there were definite language barriers when dealing with their service department. For the defective SD drive, they had me take pictures of the micro SD card in and out of the tablet to send to them. Why? No idea. Then they asked if I put it in the wrong way which is physically impossible without breaking the micro SD card. After three weeks of countless frustrating emails and irrelevant requests for photos and duplicate questions, they offered me $10 coupon for merchandise on their site.
At that point I got PayPal involved by filing a dispute. McBub service department then had me "root" the tablet in order to fix the SD drive, following a video they posted on YouTube. It was fairly easy and the drive worked again.... but only for four hours!! PayPal was mediating the dialogue between us and quickly realized the legitimacy of my frustrations. PayPal ruled that I had a valid claim and could return the tablet and McBub would refund my money.
On November 23, I shipped the tablet back to them via USPS International Priority Mail service at a cost of about $15--my responsibility. The shipment was no-where to be found after the 10 days PayPal allows for a return and I began an appeal process with PayPal based on information supplied by McBub that it takes about 15 to 30 days for International Priority Mail to be returned to them. I kept checking with McBub and they would tell me time and time again to be patient. Sure enough, after a 34 day trip, the defective tablet was returned.
PayPal then asked McBub to confirm that they received the defective table back via email so they could credit me my $159.99. While McBub would respond to my emails quickly (sometimes within minutes of sending them), they wouldn't make that contact with PayPal to confirm they received it back. PayPal even sent them an email request and I asked them on three different emails to make contact with PayPal.
I became very frustrated in that now they had the defective tablet and my money and PayPal would not credit me until they heard directly from McBub. I went to McBub's Facebook site last week and vented my frustration with them on their wall. Within a day of my wall post I was contacted by them asking me for information so they could investigate my complaint. Two days after that, they called me from China and I spoke to a very friendly person named "Apple" who repeatedly apologized for the problems I was having. She told me that I would have my money credited back to my PayPal account directly from McBub in three business days. She also told me that there was no need to further involve PayPal in the situation. "Apple" was so sorry for my problems that she even sent me a $10 credit voucher via email to spend on their site.
Three business days was yesterday, Tuesday, January 10th and my $159.99 didn't get credited to my PayPal account! I have now sent “Apple” three emails and one Facebook message and I haven't heard a word.
In short, DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM MCBUB...EVER!!! I also recommend that you don't use PayPal either. If I would have put this on a credit card, I would have been protected against this horrible Customer Service and theft of my $159.99.
Does anyone have suggestions as to what I should do now????

"horrible experience, shipping was super slow and got a defective item.beware!"
