"I bought an Aishuo A820 8" tablet from McBub. It works but only barely. Bluetooth doesn't work, most popular apps are incompatible, wifi is balky, no cellphone tethering possible, touchscreen interface is very poor. And much more. In short, this tablet is basically a piece of junk. And this is where the problem with McBub comes in: they are not the only retailer selling this very poor product (and they are far from the cheapest, I saw it for 25% cheaper after I started having problems and searched the web for advice), but any respectable retailer should stand by its product, and if it doesn't do what it advertised, it should exchange the product or provide a refund. McBub refuses to take any responsibility and in fact the answers I got from their customer service were uniformly useless, unhelpful, and evasive. There is no chance I will ever buy from McBub again and I strongly recommend staying away from them. By the way, if you look at the product page of the tablet I bought, you will see 8 five-star reviews. Except that when you read the reviews you will see that most have them have serious complaints about the products. Which means that McBub is manipulating its product ratings which if it isn't a punishable crime, it should. Stay away from McBub. "

"I purchased the VIA WM 8650 7" Tablet PC Android 2.2 Camera WIFI 3G Flash 10.1 MID epad, as a XMAS gift. Although the tablet works well, the price was reasonable and the shipping was on target, Mcbub was misleading with the statement regarding this product description, by stating "This model includes and supports direct downloads from the real Google Android Market!". When in fact it does not. After hours of trying we were finally able to find a Google Android forum where the VIA WM 8650 Android 2.2 model, was without a doubt discovered by many unsuspecting consumers,not able to support direct downloads from the Android Market. Not to say that they all purchased from McBub, but the Android Market access issue is widespread and specific to this model and/or the 2.2 OS.

Although the tablet is useful we have had to search elsewhere for virus software and other apps to really benefit from the purchase of this model tablet. So if you wish to benefit from the Android Market this is not the tablet to buy anywhere.

All I know is China is too far to send it back and that could be an incentive for McBub, not to either be more knowledgable of the products they sell or to totally disregard this significant inconveience when selling this model with the current description, to unspecting international consumers. I would not have purchased this model had I known about the Android Market issue. However, I would have appreciated the option of knowing I would have to be prepared to deal with the issues that come with finding the apps you need or want, to benefit from the Android OS.

I am rating this experience as 2 stars because of this very significant issue with buying an Android tablet and being mislead to beleive that I could directly benefit from the Android Market when in fact I can not."

"I was very skeptical about ordering from mcbub at first, but decided to give it a try shipping was really fast 5 days to Toronto,Canada and the customer service is absolutely amazing. they are really helpful and answer all your questions within 24 hours. Great service and great products."

"Awesome customer service when taking into account the time difference. I ordered a 7" tablet as a Christmas gift for my son for a great price with free shipping. 2 days after checking out I noticed that free shipping could take 9-15 days. With only 7 days till Christmas I sent a service request to find out if I could have rush shipping added. Before I checked my e-mail for a response (which they sent that night) it was delivered by DHL. 3 day free shipping from a retailer in china is awesome. After opening, I even had a brain dead moment where I couldn't get it to turn on when not plugged into the wall outlet. A quick support message to them, with an reply from them that night later, I found out that it had an ON/Off toggle switch that stopped it from turning on when not plugged into a power source. Great customer service. We bought a Wopad V7+ which is great also. Good response to multi-point input. Great build quality. Running Android 2.3 (plays flash with the right browser). Awesome product for my 9 yr. old son, and a great alternative to the overpriced garbage that gets mass marketed."

"I was wary at first of these Chinese companies but after the reviews on this site about Mcbub, I decided that this would be a good site to get my tablet for Christmas from.

I originally ordered a 7 inch tablet, and there were two versions, I ordered the better, but after 3 days I asked them what is happening with my order, and they notified me it was out of order, so they offered the previous version of the tablet with a refund for the difference in price. I chose instead of a refund to get a free case instead for the tablet, and they happily did this, and sent out my new order 1 day later. After this I was noticed that they sent an 8inch case instead of a 7inch case, most probably due to the busy times, which meant they had worked tirelessly, and were bound to make mistakes, as we are humans. So they fixed this issue without me knowing, and sent it promptly. I received my tablet today and am very satisfied with it, and it took 7 days to arrive here. The customer service was superb, and fixed the issue within a day, and had fixed their own issue, as soon as they reviewed my order. The customer service was exceptional, despite the current busy times they managed to respond within a couple of hours to each message. I am very happy, despite having a few heart attacks pondering whether or not it would arrive before Christmas, but it did, and I would gladly do business with this company again.

P.S. I plan on buying another tablet soon from this site, with this current one being so good as it is. :)"

"Update to 12/20/11 review. I have spent hours on nonline chat with "Helen".No help whatsoever.Filed first level of dispute on paypal website. Spent $53 more to ship aionol tablets back to China. Tracking info said the attempted delivery three times finally they signed for package. They were purposely not signing do they delay refund.I have one contact Sara Chou that I have emailed over 30 times since all this started. Even though I sent a detailed letterstating what was wrong with the tablets she requested information again. Again I'm sure to delay refund. I contact them on a daily basis, keep updating the dispute form on paypal every contact made.tomorrow I am escalating dispute to an actual claim with paypals resolution center. Let paypal duke it out with them. I have been ripped off $350 at christmas when money is really needed. I hope paypal realizes the unethical business practices of this company. If I was paypal I wouldn't want to let more consumers get ripped off by this company. Paypal should dump them!!! Do yourself a favor DO NOT order from this company. If you have problems with your order you will be screwed! Don't fall for everyone of their items has 5 star reviews.they are decieptful and unethical business out to rip off consumers for their benefit! ZERO STARS!"

"Stay away. I ordered a 7" tablet through the site, they took the money out right away but after a week I my order status still showed "Processing". I emailed them & did not get a response, waited a day or so & emailed again. I did get a response this time telling me the item was out of stock. So it took them over a week to figure out they didn't have the item I ordered. I swapped the item for a comparable model which they had in stock & received an email stating that my item has shipped. After another day the tracking number they provided still showed that it wasn't even picked up yet. After another email sent, they inform me that this item is also out of stock & that they have no idea why I got shipping notice & tracking number 2 days prior. Once again I swap the item for another that they have "in stock" but I have yet to receive any notice about this order. Do yourself a favor & stay away from this company. I thought that I was saving money & from other reviews thought McBub was ok but I think their employees wrote all those reviews. "

"I didn't really know what to expect ordering from McBub. Thankfully I can say I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a tablet on 10/30 and it was delivered to my home 4 days later. I was blown away by this. I had issues updating the firmware on my Zenithink C71 but McBub customer support was nice enough to help me find the right files. You also have to remember Mcbub is located in China, so their English isn't perfect and they are a 12 hr difference in time. I would usually send an email to customer support before going to bed, and when I woke up it was answered. Their prices can't be beat. They now have a presence on facebook which is great (free coupon code on there!) Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and will gladly do business with them again."
