"I found the price at Memory-up to be the best I could fine on the web. My order was shipped to me very quickly. I had ordered it late on a Friday and it arrived on Tuesday. I did have some concerns about the part that I ordered as I am no computer expert. The exact part I had ordered was not shipped. I contacted Memory-up support and they assured me that it was in fact 100% compatable with the part I had wanted. It was also a Micron part as I had ordered the only difference was it was a ECC module and not a nonECC module. Well it works perfect with no problems. I am very happy with their prompt service and with their technical support. I in fact got three replys from their tech people addressing my concerns. "Techsupport guys - especially George - are great! Very helpful in finding compatible memory when my computer didn't appear in their "memory finder". Order process was a little bumpy when Memory-Up provided my credit card company with incorrect expiration date - though they had the correct information. I paid for FedEx Insured 2nd Air Shipping on a Wednesday, because of the mixup, didn't get my order until following Monday. However, they were helpful/professional in resolving the issue. My memory came well packaged and it did work - website states memory is tested before shipping. Good folks, good price, quality product - I'll purchase here again in the future."
"Ordered Monday with fedex 2 day shipping, it is now thursday. I still have no ram or tracking number. When i try to call their customer service line, it just rings. They could at least have a voicemail setup. Im very disapointed i wasnt at least notified of the product not being in stock or there was a problem. So i emailed them to cancel my order, hopefully they actaully do it. I was hoping to have a pleasant expierence with these guys after reading the review on pricewatch and this site, but nogo. should have just stuck with new egg. BUYER BEWARE
Update: I received a call either late yesterday (wednesday), or early today explaining that the ram was backordered. So they wanted to switch brands to a different one. I still think hearing from a company the day you expect to receive the product is still unacceptable. I did speak to someone immediatly when i called for the 3rd time at 2pm EST. The invidual was very prompt, helpful, and quickly cancelled my order for me. Overall, I'm still dissatified with my experience i had with the company. i hope in the future they will let thier customers know when a product is out of stock the day it is supposed to ship, not the day it is supposed to arrive. The part I ordered didn't work. I shipped it back. Vendor seemed slow to resolve issue: I couldn't tell whether they'd identified the problem (DOA vs. wrong part), and I couldn't tell why they didn't ship the new part as quickly as they'd shipped the original order. About three weeks after my first order, I decided to give up and switch from exchange to return, to go with a different vendor (higher price, but I'd used them before a few times with success). George at Memory-up has offered to refund my entire order prce. So while I'm out the return shipping, they cut my credit card loose to go shopping elsewhere. That gives me confidence; I'll probably give them a try again (perhaps when I'm in less of a hurry)."
"Bought 2-512MB sticks of So-Dimm DDR for my HP laptop. Delivered as advertised, no problems. Willing to ship by USPS which is a big plus for Alaska residents like me, as there is no cheap Fedex/Ups ground here. It would be nice if they would use Priority Mail, because then it could be tracked online. This Infineon memory was made in China, not Germany. Infineon I've bought in the past was made in Germany. No markings on the memory saying Infineon, but since I had no errors running Suse mem-test overnight, I didn't worry about it. Fast shipping, good packing."
"I decided to buy a 256mb sdram micron module for my sony viao laptop at memory-up. the sales staff responded within 24hours and assured me about compatibility and agreed to take it back free of charge if there was a compatibility problem.
I placed the order along with a usb webcam to avail free shipping. I did not receive a shipping confirmation so I called up the customer service. He was quite helpful and told me that they were facing delays because they din't have the webcam in stock AND because they couldn't verify my shipping address. (I would have appreciated a call that it was delaying the order) When I called the next day because I STILL hadn't received a shipping confirmation, he said the order had been shipped with no shipping charge even though they wern't including the webcam (it was free shipping on a combined purchase).
The product arrived in about 10 days(damned USPS) at my residential address (even though I wanted it shipped to my office) but it was very well packaged and it has been working great eversince.
I'd like to clarify that I'm not being negative about Memory-up. For the price, I think I got a great deal. however, I am hoping my feedback will help this company improve their service. I'd definitely recommend my friends to shop at this place."
"Great place to buy memory. I got exactly what I ordered in about a week and got a great deal on 1GB dual channel DDR400 without having to "upgrade to Premium quality" like you do in other places. I am definitely going to buy more from them as soon as I get my money back from two other crappy companies (stlpcsales & buyaib.com).

"My shopping experience with Memory-UP may be the best online shopping experience I've ever had.
After ordering a pair of GeIL Golden Dragon PC3200 DIMMS, I found that they refused to work properly on my Intel D875PBZ motherboard, I called Memory-UP's technical support line. George picked up on the first ring (WOW!).
After going over the basics and some troubleshooting, George suggested that I called GeIL and Intel and see if any such issues were known and suggest any possible rememdies. Neither company was any help.
As such, I called George again (Picked up on second ring!) and he offered to cross-ship a new pair of DIMMS (GeIL Ultra series) at no charge to me.
Well, the replacement DIMMS worked without a hitch and I'm completely satisfied with my shopping experience with this fine company.
