"The kit is great, a bit overwhelming at first, HOWEVER, it's not hard....it just takes time. The first one I made took two weeks . It was like putting a beautiful puzzle together. I worked on it everyday 3-5 hours , so much fun I couldn't put it down. And it turn out prettier than the picture...pictures cannot do it justice. So happy with this project that I made a second one and BAM, just as good. You do need a threader for the floss. I would have gone crazy if I didn't have my own. It should come with the kit...hint, hint.

"Merry Stockings had a wonderful selection of the Basilla Felt kits, and so I was able to add another stocking to our family's extensive collection. My great-grandmother started making stockings for everyone years ago, (1970's?) and over the years she, then my grandma added new stockings as others wore out or new family members came along. Now it's my turn to sew the stockings for each new member of our family- whether through marriage or birth- and I was thrilled to find such a beautiful selection to choose from. I was even more impressed when it showed up just a few days later! These kits are so easy to follow, and the step by step illustrated instructions make it an easy craft to work on as I have time. The detail and quality of the kits makes a beautiful stocking that has lasted us many years, some as much as 30+ years! While I would not recommend them for young children to make, older children could, and would learn many useful sewing skills and concentration practice. The ornaments are a quick and easy craft, too!"
