"I chose Micro Center because it's a trusted name (for me) in the computer hardware world. They also had the best price that did not include a mail in rebate. The item was ordered 11/6, shipped 11/8, and arrived 11/13. In a world where Amazon is dominant, at least in part because of their shipping speed, I would think other online retailers should be striving for faster shipping as well.

The monitor arrived in great shape, Dell knows how to package things, and it works great. It even came with a thunderbolt to display port cable so I could hook it to my macbook pro. The IPS panel has bright and fantastic, 1440p is also great. If you still think 1080p is the standard.... you need to take a look at some higher resolutions."
