Bug Spray

"I read the reviews for Midland Hardware after I placed my order. I was surprised by the very unfavorable reviews that were given to this company. I almost cancelled my order, but decided to give them a few more days before I cancelled. I placed an order on Monday, June 10, 2019 and received my order today, June 14, 2019. It was a exactly what I had ordered. I think that was very good customer delivery service. It is true that I never received a tracking number, so I was very happy to receive my order without having to contact the company. I would definitely order again from this company."

Didn't send entire order. Merchandise not shipped.

"I ordered and paid for 4 products. 1 arrived, then another week later 1 arrived, then nothing more. There is no way to contact anyone. The recording said "they only correspond via email" but no one replies to that either. AVOID this company and website. There is a reason its cheap, because you aren't going to actually receive any product."

Impossible to get a hold of ...they ONLY correspond via email

"My order was said to ship the next day and be received 5 to 7 business days .After waiting 2 weeks I called and a recording said "they only correspond via email.days later I was informed that my order was on backorder.I cancelled..haven't heard back ...Wait ing on the to email me ."

What a hot mess!

"I ordered 4 items back on May 4th. They were shipped and have been stuck at the FED-X Smart post facility in Southhaven Mississippi since May 9th due to a damaged shipping label. Called Fed-x and they said they are waiting for a new label from the shipper. I tried to call Midland at their listed number and the message states they only respond via email. (What? What reputable company does this?) So I have sent 2 emails to the email addresses listed and as of this date, no response. If my items are not here in another week, I will dispute the charge. Beware ordering from this company! I won't ever order from them again. They should be reported to the BBB with reviews like those here. Of course they have a gold star rating on Google, with almost all positive reviews. Google won't let me leave a review for this company. Imagine that?"

cant get in touch with ANYONE

"I place my order almost 3 weeks ago - I've sent 3 emails and tried calling once asking for the status
- NO response - NO merchandise - tried to dispute, but I used PayPal - PayPal NEVER honors a dispute - why do I keep using PayPal? - I have no idea - I really want what I ordered, so hopefully I will receive it soon, but this will be the LAST time I order from this company.

Great Price, Great Service

"I read all the bad reviews and was worried. I think the majority of the complaints are from competitors and not very accurate. I ordered and want to say they did great, the package was done right,the merchandise was in great condition. There price was better than everybody else, the package arrived via FedEx as promised. Don't let all the negative reviews influence your purchase. The only bad thing is no phone number to call. They do it all by email, and they did what was promised. Would order from them again."

Buy whatever you need somewhere else.

"They sent us the wrong item. We have contacted them on 5 different occasions with them ignoring the first two times. Two weeks later we still do not have a return label and they do not have a phone number. You have to email them and they ignore you for days. Go somewhere else. the worst place we have ever found on the internet!"

2 day shipping... whenever they decide to actually ship

"Over a week passed after I ordered, no communication. After sending 3 emails inquiring about the status of my order being shipped, still no response. A week and a half after I ordered, finally an automated email saying it has shipped. FedEx says just label printed. They clearly **** at actually sending out your paid for products."

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

"BEWARE!! Had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life with this company. I placed an order online for a few small items to attach legs to a dresser. The box the items were shipped in was MUCH too large for these items and poorly packaged. (I will attach photos in the comments). One item the package was completely open and missing its corresponding hardware (making it completely useless). The (6) legs I ordered were not the right size. Upon calling the number listed on PayPal to resolve issues I was met with complete and utter rudeness. David took the first call, I asked to speak with a manager after 3 attempts he never clarified he was a manager, but said he could help. I then asked if he handled online orders, his response, “what company is this, who are you?”, I stated I was not with a company just a paying customer and American citizen, he then respond with “ what do you want I don’t have time for this” and hangs up on me. I call a second time and a woman answers the phone, I asked to speak with the manager and she tells me he is busy so I am placed on hold. After 5 min I am disconnected. I attempt to reach them a third time, the woman answers again and I ask to have the managers name and for her to take my information so that he can contact me when he is available. She informs me the mans name is David and that the owner will be in at 7pm. I ask for David’s last name and she replies, “Oh we aren’t doing that,” right before she hangs up on me AGAIN and never took my information. At this point I am so shocked a business is even running with this lack of customer service. My husband serves this country and we have traveled a lot and seen a lot and I was absolutely appalled that this grown man and woman would act so nasty towards a paying customer. I was finally contacted through email to resolve the issue, long story short David Anderson was putting the blame on FedEx for repacking my box and losing my item.( Tell me why would FedEx repack a box that has been damaged just to replace it with another damaged box with poor taping and sealing and also not in a FedEx box!!) Later stated that it was not him who I spoke with on the phone that they are not linked with the brick and mortar store. (Yet they both have the name David Anderson!) I was offered a refund for the item that was missing the hardware or that they would send me new screws. I declined, because at this point I wanted nothing else to do with this company or its people. I asked for a full refund and they would pay the return shipping and I would mail the items back to them in the manner it was sent to me and in the same box. The next email I received was my last from them stating they would send me a form with instructions to return the items. Here are the following instructions per their form:
Your RMA 1809 was authorized.

Please, follow the instructions:

1- The items must be in the original package and resalable.
NO visible damage, writing or marks, highlighting, and/or odor.
Products purchased in shrink-wrap must still be in original wrapping.
Shrink-wrapped items that have been unwrapped are not eligible for return.

2- The items must be received with in 30 days of the ship date.

3- There is a 15% restocking fee on all returns. If you are exchanging for another item you will not be charged a restocking fee.

4- You are responsible for shipping the item(s) back to Midland Hardware. Damaged or poorly packed packages may be refused at time of delivery.

5- Please write your RMA number 1809 on the package. Be sure your RMA number is clearly visible on the OUTSIDE of the package. If the product being shipped back came in the product's original box do not write on the box, please tape a piece of paper to the box before writing your RMA number. Writing on the box can result in us denying your refund.

Please explain to me why it was alright to SEND ME the items not abiding by these guidelines yet you set such a standard for returned packages that YOU are at fault for?? I have yet to hear from David anymore regarding my issue but I did notice a $1.60 refund placed on my account. This matter is NOT resolved and I pray that this company changes their ways. So sad this is how some individuals treat their paying customers and working military families these days.

"I received two brass valves that were shipped in a package envelope yea you heard that right brass one arriving damaged filled out the order claim form and asked for my money back and instead i get the same item thats not what i asked for this is the the worst customer service and worst shipped item i ever received "

"First off, the phone number is a recording telling you to email only. Before they send the item they have their money which is NOT as it is supposed to be. Very slow to respond and only after it has arrived. Can't believe that people do business this way.

This company is a big rip off

"went on their website to buy a spray bottle. the price is $3 dollars handling and shipping is $2.55 So I went on Pay Pal to pay clicked pay now and it charge me $13.71 I went right back on their website 5 minutes and cancel my order they Said two days for the confirmation. Never got a confirmation "

Good prices, bad communication

"Website is very poor, but the price was very good so decided to take a chance. My credit card was charged within 24 hours. A week later there was no communication that my order had even shipped, and no way to find status on website other than sending a request. The next day I received an email with tracking number, which was the same day the package was arriving."
