"I recently ordered from Midland. I was a little concerned based on some of the reviews. I had trouble reaching them (either a busy signal or no answer on phone). I went ahead and placed my order and received it in full in just 7 days! I couldn't tell if it had shipped by checking the website, so had concerns, but am VERY PLEASED with the quality of the replacement coco liners that I ordered. They were substantially lower priced than the competition, the quality looks to be great. I will definitely reorder from Midland!"

Second order, web site said it was in stock. It wasn't. They told me item was on backorder so I requested a refund and did receive a refund."

"I did not read the negative reviews until after I had placed an order. Honestly I was concerned. I placed the order just before a holiday and received a confirmation e-mail quickly and that they would notify me when it shipped. Well it shipped before I got a tracking number but I attribute that to the holiday. Overall, the product came within the expected time frame and the items were the high quality I expected. I never had a need to contact the company. No payment problems."

I got the tubes the next day and I just received the rest today...The third day! I will continue to order from here. Great prices - Great service. Thanks."
"Tried to purchase from this company on 2 separate occasions. Both attempts were an item considerably less than elsewhere. First time I received a message there was a problem with the order, kindly call customer service. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ! There is no customer service, the phone either goes immediately to a busy signal or rings and hangs up. Emails are never responded to. A month later I tried another time, still showing in stock at same price. This time an email stating the order was cancelled, no explanation, and of course you cant reach anyone. Don't bother ordering from this firm, they are likely heading for closure as no company can survive online when there are so many companies that care about the customer."
"Ordered an item based on reasonable price listed on Google. Website showed 800 in stock. I ordered 20. A few days later I was emailed that they were not in stock. OK, mistakes happen. I asked for an ETA and the rep said one week later. I waiting for 1.5 MONTHS and still didn't get the items or hear back from the company. I tried calling several times during their listed hours and nothing. I finally emailed threatening to charge back through VISA if they didn't respond and I immediately got an order cancellation notice with no further explication. I should sue them for interest. "
"They will make the CUSTOMER PAY when it is THEIR ERROR. ORDER from one of the many other online businesses that actually know how to do online business correctly, and will own their mistake. These are the facts:
1. I made an order.
2. Next day, bank notified order was not processed due to fraud alert system and would need to contact them IF I want to redo this order.
3. To save time, I made a new order with other card at a different bank.
4. Received both orders despite the bank not allowing initial process of order, and they blame the bank for their processing of the order that should not have.
5. They refuse to accept return unless I pay 15% restocking fee on this $125 order and shipping.
I provided proof with images of the bank texts but would not listen even with that. If they won't budge in this case, they aren't going to take a hit for you if they mess up your order either."

"I hesitated to complete my order based on some of the less than stellar reviews here and on Yelp and Facebook. However, I decided to chance it since the items were pretty basic and the price was right. I ordered two 5 pound pickaxes (a railroad pick and a mattock) with fiberglass handles for slightly more than $50 shipped. Similar items of lesser quality at the Blue and Orange stores were at least 50% more. Both pickaxes were promptly (and inexpensively) shipped in creative packaging that prevented the points from breaking through the outer cardboard. I am satisfied with the quality, but was surprised that they are products of Mexico - expected them to be from China - doesn't everything basic still come from there? Only quibble is small slivers of metal where the handle holes were routed to custom fit the handles - cut myself before putting a file to good use. I'll update this review if the picks don't hold up - given my fairly light DIY use, I expect to get many years of use. Both the Collins picks and Midland Hardware are recommended. "
"Terrible terrible experience! Ordered outdoor spring chairs on August 15. Never got shipment notification. Send multiple emails inquiring my order status - Never got any confirmation that it was shipped. Received first voice message regarding the freight on September 13. Called them back on September 14 to find out the chairs were send back the day before, two hours after they left their first message! When contacted the company for refund, was shocked to hear that they want to deduct restocking and shipment from the amount!!!! Really??? Will fight until I get the full refund! "
