"Tried to buy a Gateway 3ds card from them with so many problems. First it started with hidden "international fees" of 5$ on top of my invoice, then they advertise shipping to the US in 3-5 days for 8$ only to have major problems with customs for their only shipping provider (UPS) which had my package for close to a month. They wouldn't do a investigation on my tracking number to check if it was lost, stolen, or seized either. Finally, they don't offer refunds or returns when there is problems so you basically lose your money when they mess up custom forms or something happens (lost, stolen, seized). Anyone should avoid them at all costs! Don't do business with them, you will regret it."

"Ok where do I begin… To start with I am not a paid reviewer or nor have I been asked by anyone to write this. Now that that’s out the way let’s start by saying I’ve been buying mod chips and connectivity kits since team xecuter first relased them about 5 years ago and I’ve always purchased from modchipcentral. Ive always received my products in perfect working condition and what’s great is that they really are authorized resellers and all the serial numbers from things I’ve bought match the developers website so hats off to that. But more recently I had a little mishap with a Cobra ODE I bought for a PS3 I got. I installed the kit but when reassembling the PS3 I accidentally ripped both flat ribbon cables, damn it lol!! So I got worried look everywhere to try and buy the cables separately but no luck so I sent in an email to modchipcentral. In a matter of hours their representative responded (was during business hours don’t expect to get a return in the middle of the night) simply asking to send a picture so they could know what it was I needed and to see if they had any in stock. So I responded and next day I received an email saying your flat ribbon cable has been sent. I was like WHAT?? NO CHARGE!! Not even shipping!!! Maybe this is an isolated case but I mean seriously they could have been a**holes and made me buy the kit all over again or at least charged since I wasn’t going to find the cables anywhere else and I would have been fine with it too. Come on guys their service really is great, fast and efficient and that’s even after my purchase. I’m definitely happy with my purchase and really don’t know what all the other reviews are about, maybe just unexperienced users not knowing how to install what they buy. Im most definitely going to continue to go to them for all my modding needs!!! Thanks again :D"

"The reseller is a SCAMMER. Sends defective products knowingly with very strict/non-existent return policies to ensure you can't get your money back.

They responded to my emails frequently before I made the purchase, but then they sent out a completely defective card. I tried contacting them repeatedly and never heard back from them.

I've been looking at review sites to see if there's a pattern and i think the positive reviews on the official sites are either fake or screened to make them look like a good legitimate business

i had ordered a e3 Flasher kit on 01/07/2014 payment wasn't processed yet so i asked them whats going on (i admit this was my own doing because my bank put the process on hold for some reason)they said they didn't received my payment and then i would have to reorder online which i wasn't too happy hearing that after checking my account balance.

so a couple of days have passed since then and my payment was processed on 1/10/2014

great i thought..but they were out of stock (kinda funny if they were out of stock but i would still be able to buy it)

it made me question my self when they sent a copy of what the website said "out of stock - eta on this day"

not to mention they went ahead and processed everything.

i think that's one of the ways they get you they know its out of stock but they go ahead and process the shipment and invoices also another reason why they hold some of the money for when you inquire a refund a dirty little trick i must admit.

it is now 1/20/2014 10 days later and there is now a later date of when they shall receive the kits.

but i am taking partial blame since my bank went air force one on my funds.

I believe that, as the retailer, they should assume any fees associated with returns. "Ordered a chip from here for my old original xbox. There arent many places that carry old modchips so this was a godsend. The package was promptly delivered as i asked for it to be expedited and it was at my door in 2 business days. Considering they are in Canada and I'm in New York that was amazing.
Sadly the UPS delivery guy tried to shove my pacakage under my door destroying the contents of the package! I contacted Modchipcentral and they were amazing. Not only did they reply promptly and file a claim with UPS they informed me they would send me a new chip the next day before the claim is even settled. Couldn't ask for better support."

I ordered an AceKard2i for my Nintendo DSi, and paid $23+$9 shipping (the only shipping option available).
It took 3 days to arrive, and when I popped it in to use...it was broken and not working. I tried it on 2 other Nintendo DS systems as well. I contacted them, and they basically didn't want to take responsibility for their mistake. They told me to ship the faulty item back to them, and that after testing, they would send me a replacement. I shipped it with my own money, which they refused to give me a reimbursement for. They sent a replacement, but sent it with a slower mail service, and the box was all crushed by the time it had arrived. I argued with them to give me some kind of compensation for the shipping cost, and they agreed to send me a MicroSD card.
It has been almost two weeks, and I finally received an envelope from them today....with a receipt, but no MicroSD card anywhere.
These guys are scammers, stay away from them. I guarantee that you will end up frustrated and upset with them.

Recently made a purchase from their site. The item which included a fragile circuit board was shipped packaged loose in 3 bubble mailers. Which made me nervous but everything worked fine so I was willing to forgive them for that one. However, the item did not ship with a serial card so I cannot register the item to update it. After several contacts to the company they were ultimately unwilling to truly remedy their mistake and get me a serial. While the shipping was fast, and they are very quick to reply to questions ultimately I am left unsatisfied and now I have to go out of my way to contact the manufacturer of the product and attempt to get a serial for registration."
