"i bought a premod xbox with a xecutor2 installed. i ordered on the 6th, recieved less than a week later. it was in perfect condition, with the wrap and sticker-cover still on. the programmer and dipswitches were installed sturdy (can't tell you how many crap mods i've seen) and i couldn't be happier.
after about two weeks, i rented "outlaw golf" from blockbuster and put it in, my xbox freezes. i start freaking out. it won't boot on with the mod on and it freezes on the xecutor2 screen. i continue freaking out. i email them with an emergency message "xbox down, xbox down!" no less than 15 minutes later a rep calls me and hears what i have to say. since i wasn't in front of the unit he reccommends i try it later and if the problem persists, send it to the shop.
it doesn't work (sigh), so they send me the repair address and i ship it off. after it's arrival, it took them about 15 minutes to locate the problem and one day to ship it back.
this is, HANDS DOWN, the most professional and reasonable service of it's kind on the internet. i've gone through this tons of times and not only has it been the best work, but also the fastest and friendliest response effort, flat.
after i got off the phone with the rep, i decided to sent my newest xbox in for modification the day after the repair.
if you've ever had a bad experience with this sort of service before, then this company will change your opinion completely."

Feb 3rd I purchased a new OZXodus Xenium Order #4361 for $73.98 with 2nd day express USPS delivery. I work for CDW Corp in IL, and I know just how crazy shipping charges can be today, so this did not surprise me, and was actually lower then some other companies, and mine included insurance on my product, very rare for online purchases today.
I called to verify my order and stock availabillity and was told that they indeed were there, and my order would automatically process with 48 hours time, not unreasonable processing time for online orders.
My order did ship out as expected, and I was sent by e-mail the USPS tracking information for my order.
*IMPORTANT* Please understand that the USPS tracking system does not work in the same way that FedEx and UPS do. The USPS (United States Postal Service) does not have the scanning systems and tracking systems of UPS and FedEx.
Tracking numbers will be PREgenerated but no information will be shown until the following day, as their web site only updates once in a 24 hour time frame and always late at night. Expect them to be 24 hours behind on the tracking information at times.
My package was attempted on Friday the 6th of Feb, and a notice was left. Since I work Mon through Fri it was expected.
Saturday I was home all day, and they tried yet again, but never rang my door bell or notified me they had a package that needed signature. The post office employee just left another notice.
I called the post office to arrange to pick it up, but the driver had failed to return the package to the office before 5pm, closing time, so I was SOL til Monday.
Well today is Monday and after a little preasure I explained to the post office employee to have the package redelivered back to my home, and that the signed notice was ready and waiting for them, with instructions to leave the package on the porch which is enclosed. They will try delivery on Tuesday, and hoefully they will get it right this time.
Modchip-Source is not at fault here, and should not be blamed in anyway for this issue. They did and are still doing everything they can to help me. They are already aware of the issues I have had, and have asked if I needed them to do anything to help, and at this time I did not.
Customer service is the most important thing when dealing with any business as a customer, I know I work 5 days a week assisting my own customer wt CDW for the last 3 years and my customer service and knowledge is why they come back to me.
Modchip-Source has perfect customer service so far and I will update this review as needed.
They were prompt, honest, and quick to communicate with me no matter my issues. This service is why I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I speak to about mods.
There are a few bad reviews I have seen here about some of the same issues I have had, that were down right uninformative, and inmature. To many people today expect someone to do everything for them when they are the customer, and take no responsibillity as a good customer should to make sure things go smoothly, and instead complain and get upset when something goes wrong.
No business is perfect, and no one is perfect. Problems happen, a fact of life and business, get over it. My concern is not all about what happened and why, or who is to blame, my concern is how do we work together to correct it quickly and efficently. That is true customer service and Modchip-Source understands this 100%.
