"Before YOu plan to buy ! Think over !
I order my chip on 10-22-03. I got tracking and e-mail right away from them. it is great service and fast. But after been wait for about 4-5 days so on. I send them a e-mail and ask them where is my order. Been wait for 4-5 days more I'm sorta angry and my e-mail might come little bit harsh. ( anyone will do the same) "" I told them that if I don't get my package by next few days, I want my money back back.

For anyone who see this, they will understand that the buyer want the seller to check on the order, find out what is going on with the order.

Instead I got fat up by lot of reason. " I end up have to go to post office to track the package my own "" !!!!! This is not MY JOB to look up my package !!!

Few days later , I got a e-mail from joel on the follow up of my package. I told them i'm not hear a word from the usps yet. But i'll go the next day to ask them again and also do a deep check on my house area( in & out).

I spend all morning the next day look up my house, I found my package. ( It was at my garage, mix with my shipping supply. Someone in the house must receive the package and leave it there with out telling me.)
I right away e-mail MODCHIP SOURCE to let them know. ALso i let them know the chip pin were bend. " i only ask them if that i could bend it back? I didn't not damage it , it come like that.

!!!! The MODCHIP were DOA !!!!

I receive some e-mail back frm joel right away with nasty and harsh word on me.! He call me scamer , and refuse to answer my questions, refuse to takecare the DOA missing ITEM. Joel is even try to put my info over the web .

It was my error that I should it check carefully before e-mail him. But he shouldn't refuse to takecare the service.

Here is the problem with MODCHIP-SOURCE:

1. high price with shipping.

2. poor packing skill.(even info them to put more boubble wrap).

3. will not takecare the error they have made and turn all error on customer.

4. They will post your personal info on web.
( I have receive e-mail from joel. he say that he will post my info all over the web .)

5. All there package will not come insure. If happen to be damaage, good luck. I'm sure you not gonna get replace.


I have try the action on against this company. let see who will stand in court.

You sound like such a scammer. First off, you accuse Modchipsource of not sending your chip and then you admit later that it was at your place. I don't see how Modchipsource is responsible for that. Then you say the chip is damaged...could it be that whoever received the chip at your house damaged it when they received it and didn't tell you? Seriously, what's more likely a scenario?...Modchipsource trying to cheat you on 1 lousy chip or you trying to scam them for 1??
The only reason I am posting this is because I buy from Modchipsource all then time. I am a reseller in Canada and have spent a good $10,000 or more with them. If this company is a scam, I would think they have had plenty of chances to screw me by now. Every shipment I have gotten from them (except the one lost/stolen by FedEX) has been well packaged and shipped extremely fast...sometimes overnight (remember, I'm in Canada)!
I hate to see a site like modchipsource and its reputation be tarnished by such stupidness on your part. As a reseller, modchipsource's responsibility ended when the packaged was recieved at your place. What are you going to say next? That its their fault that your XBOX died because you messed up the install?!"

"Ordered on Friday, recieved on Monday, nice shipping there guys. I would say out of all the mod chip sources, this company is the easiest to do business, except for a few hiccups. The first hiccup is the order page, while it goes through confirmation and authorization a time out occurs and tells the customer that the order may or may have not been approved and to contact the seller, that is a little irksome. The other hiccup was packaging, I wish for $8 on S+H they would have packaged it better, the chip was wrapped in a thin cushion and placed in box it is manufactured in and then placed in a postal envelope, with no surrounding protection, using the USPS things definitely get banged around a lot and somethings squished. I live in CA. where the company does business, and no sales tax was applied which is a huge plus in my book."
