"I finally got a hold of a sales representative after calling for few days. I placed an order to buy and Italian bedroom set. I was told that it will take 8-12 weeks to get it. This was in early May. So I called around mid of July to check on my order and I was told it should be here around the second week of August. I called again in early August and I was told that the manufacturing in Italy is closed for the entire month of August and I should be able to get a status on my order the first week of September. Around the third week of August I got a refund of full amount to my purchase price. I never cancelled my order. I have been calling them from since (almost a month) and no one answer the phone and no one retunes my calls. I left a numerous number of messages and I also send them an email message through my online account with them but never received a reply. HERE I AM AFTER FOUR PLUS MONTHS OF WAITING WITH NO FUFRNITURE AND NO CLUE. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I will never recommend them to anyone. I wish there is a rating less than one star, because they don’t even deserve the one star. That is too much rating for them. "
"I contacted ModernEuroDesign.com 6 times in period of 2 weeks. I chose to contact them twice via e-mail . Once via contact form and I called 3 times. I have no idea how this company can function and be trusted. I also have no idea where those 5 stars reviews on their website coming from. if you do not want to provide service to the customer at least say - I am sorry we can not assist you. It is about respect and business manner. Very very disappointed. I will take an oposite action from this company- I will take my time and place my voice about Poor Customer Service everywhere I can.. Maybe this way I will get some attention and they will fix their communication skill. I can not imagine placing the order with this company. I will be stressed prior delivery and what kind of service you can possibly get if your item arrived damaged. "
"Pathetic / Irresponsible Sales Team.
On day 1, I got sales person called Alex and he told me that he will work out and give me perfect deal and will mail me the options. I never got the mail
On day 2, I spoke to Brian, and he worked out the some deals, But I was't confident and told him to get to his Supervisor and see if we can work out something good.
On day 3, the Supervisor called me and increases the price and tells me that he is decision maker and whatever deal Brian gave me stands cancelled.
Very Rude Sales team and not caring for customer at all. I do recommend All Modern, Cymax , Beyond Stores instead of Modern Euro design"

"Do yourself a favor and don't bother buying from this company. I have purchased a bedroom set from Modern Euro Design and the dresser has a manufacturing defect. I contacted regularly over the last 6 month (and the manager is somehow never in?) asking for a replacement and they just have not been responsive at all. Bottom line I am left with a trendy but unusable dresser. "

"My worst shopping experience ever. After placing an order online, heard nothing for 10 days and they didn't respond to emails or voicemails. On the 11th day, I finally reach someone with a horrible phone connection that says the item will never ship and pawns me off on the manager. "I bought a round glass dining table from ModernEuroDesign - I had been holding out for my "perfect" table for a couple of years. This one is IT: stylish, elegant, useful, opens up to make a larger size if needed, and FUN! It is a very cool gadgety design, and the proof for it is that all my male friends, including engineers and computer scientists, react with a "jaw-dropping" response when they see it :) (you guessed, I love showing off my table! And I enjoy it myself every day). Great customer service when I bought it, too, and very efficient and friendly home delivery. I would totally recommend buying things from ModernEuroDesign (for my friends I don't even have to, everyone is asking me where I bought the table). "
"My husband and I really enjoy the dresser we purchased to match our bed. The drawers work very well, and the overall look is great. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the packaging took off some of the finish off the front of the dresser. But we covered the few patches with a matching color."
"We moved into the new house and we had difficulties in finding modern furniture at a reasonable price, specially full wood platform beds. We purchased one bedroom set and few additional pieces of furniture at Modern Euro Design last year. So far, we are very pleased with all the items purchased. There was some issue in assembling one of the beds, but other than that, we have no complaints. I called few times to ask specific questions regarding furniture I was interested in, and customer service was very friendly and responsive. Items arrived on time. I only wish shipping to New Haven CT area would be cheaper or available for free if furniture above certain $ value was purchased. I will most likely buy additional items from Modern Euro Design. "
