"we purchased some chairs and we were amazed how we were able to choose from a variety of style and color. customer service was great . Jason was an exceptional with helping us choose and making our decisions. its was a beautiful experience to shop in the 4 flight show room."
"The customer service was great. I love my couch, it goes perfectly with my modern retro style loft. The bright red color really pops and compliments the other vibrant colors in the surrounding decor. Not only is the couch beautiful, it is very comfortable and well made. I receive many admiring comments about how it adds to the glamour and ambiance of my home. My loft is now on the market and I am selling the furnishings separately. I will definitely return to Modern Line to purchase furnishings for my new home.

"I bought futon/sofa set with them, second year the cushion stated to sag. The bonded leather started peeling of on the seating area, all three of them, including the free ottoman they gave us. I called them and they said warranty is only for a year. I researched that bonded leather should last five to seven years. Now, I just bought a new sofa set because I could not stand the peeling leather look. What a waste of money! Don't ever buy from this company. Their customer sevice and products sucks!"
"Purchased an expensive couch and matching chaise lounge from Modern Line Furniture. Customer Service was poor. Delivery took many weeks, and coordination between New Jersey and their local distributor in Florida was poor. The Chaise Lounge Leather began to wear terribly after 1 1/2 years and to become wrinkled and loose in one of the panels. I contacted the company with photos and was told a one year warranty on leather (which was not brought to my attention prior) was over. I was offered a small company credit and will not do business with them again. The furniture I purchased was poorly made, and to my knowledge, made outside the USA and the production and quality standards are simply not present. Customer service was equally non-existent. Be careful. I cannot honestly recommend doing business with this company for something as important as one's home furnishings."
"I bought a Tula sofa from Modern Line Furniture. I was very dissatisfied with the service. Nor only was the driver really vulgar and unprofessional, but also when he brought the sofa, he said he had to charge to assemble it. Really? I had to three months to go through all this rubbish. It's really not worth to buy from Modern Line Furniture. You have to pay a large sum of money, to then be asked to pay more to assemble the furniture, deal with a low-bred driver, and then find out that the furniture was stained. They don't have a company to deliver for them. It's just a guy driving his van. "
"I bought the Samy bedroom set.
Pros: looks good just as pictured
Cons: the faux leather still has this strong, toxic smell after 2 months. I have to sleep with my window open until the smell is out. The pre-drilled holes inside the bed frame were drilled in the wrong spot which made it hard to install the brackets.
I had a problem with one of the chest having melted styrofoam on the bottom...they totally ignore me. Some of the drawers on the chest are built crooked.
My advice to you, inspect every piece real good cause once you sign for it, you're stuck with it!"
"Complete waste of money with the worst customer service out there. Al of their "furniture" is made in china and is all very poorly constructed. Danny in the warehouse is useless and Agnus and the rest of the sales team forgets your name after you place your order. I placed an order in March and didn't get my furniture until the end of May. Useless company. One sale and done - they don't care - that is how much $$$$ they are making on your sale! Spend a little more elsewhere.
Their winter cover packages are useless with the outdoor furniture and the furniture does not go together and stay together. Complete junk!"
"The furniture we ordered was mahony sectional with single sit and end tables
Also we ordered Yellow Mitel
We also ordered bedroom set Emily.
Bedroom set looks good, I have no complaint.
Sofa sectional and single chair, the foam is too hard in the chair you stay up all the time and also makes your back ache after a while of sitting on it especially Mitel.
The Mohany sectional is ok but very cheap quality
Mitel is bad, you can not sit on it for long period unless you use the provided pillow
I do not know why but if they increased their price by $500 and would make them feel softer, people would go crazy buying their furniture
all it works is the look that is very good, if I take a photo picture of our living room everyone would be amazed but go sit on the sofa, you will know what mistake you have done.
Bottom line do not buy what you can not see and feel only do that if you saw the actuasll item in someone else' home who have purchased it from the same location you plan to

"We ordered a full set of furniture from ModernLineFurniture.com for our living room - "Modern Dark Brown and Caramel Leather Complete Living Room Set: Sofa, Loveseat, Two Chairs and Coffee Table" + we ordered two extra end tables. The furniture was in "Leather" category. The description of the furniture contained the following text: "Dark Cappuccino and Caramel Leather" and "Upholstery is "bench-made" - using some of the finest leather combined with the best designed leather match material available". As we figured out, "leather match material" means artificial leather but seating area and armrests should be made of real leather and rest of the sofas (back and sides) use "fake" leather. This was OK for us, even though the price wasn't too low - $2000 + $300 for two end tables + $300 flat shipping fee, grand total is $2600.
I made the order on June 2. They called me back pretty quickly to confirm the order. In about two days they called me again and told me that part of my order is backordered and will be available in a week. After a week I sent them an email asking when my order will be shipped. They extended waiting period to another week. The order was shipped only on June 23 (21 day after order is placed!), though credit card was charged on June 18.
Anyway, we received the furniture in two packages: sofa + loveseat in one and all other stuff in another package. We unpacked sofa and loveseat. Well.... The furniture was as advertised with small exception: it was COMPLETELY made of "fake" artificial leather, including seating area and armrests! And this was pretty obvious fact, even though at that moment we just touched and felt it.
I forgot to mention their returning policy. You can return the furniture if you don't like it but they will not cover shipping costs both ways. So, if we want to return the stuff we are losing $300 + $300 = $600! That what I was told first time I contacted their support. Nice. But! My point was that I want to return it not because I don't like it; I want to return it because that is not what I ordered! I ordered LEATHER furniture!
I started long negotiations with their support. First time I was communicating with anonymous “support” person. Their main point was: seating area is genuine leather, period. I was saying – no, don’t think I am an idiot; I can distinguish leather from not-leather. They proposed to do the following test – take a tooth pick and try to puncture the “leather” on seating area and the “fake leather” on back of the sofa. According to them, it should go through the “fake leather” but shouldn’t go through the genuine one. And amazingly – I was unable to make it go through the “leather” on seating area! But I could see this is not leather!
So, my wife decided to stake everything: she made a little cut on that “leather” and we could see textile material on the back of that “leather”. You can see a photo here: http://images50.fotki.com/v1527/photos/6/66802/5919028/IMG_5828-vi.jpg
At this point I was switched to concrete person – Nancy with Russian last name. Thus, now we had real proofs that their leather is not leather and I notified them about intention to file a claim to Small Claim Court. Plus, I called to my credit card company (Discover Business) and asked them about details of disputing the transaction. I was reassured that evidences I have are enough to dispute the transaction in full. And only after this they agreed to send me a prepaid label to send the stuff back and promised to return all money, including shipping.
It took me about a month to convince them and only after I threatened them by transaction dispute and Small Claim Court. Mentioning BBB and FTC didn’t make any effect on them. BTW, they have A+ rating on BBB (!), and 82% of positive feedbacks on Amazon.
A free recommendation: DON”T BUY FURNITURE IN INTERNET, if you can’t look at it, touch-n-feel it in real life.
