"I had a horrible experience ordering a large canvas bell tent and having it shipped to Hawaii. The shipping times they advertised and told me over the phone were all wrong. I called to check on my already late order and I was told they were waiting to receive it from the manufacturer and they would ship it right out. Once they received it they sent it to Hawaii by boat! I had to talk to USPS in person at the post office to figure out a 6-8 week delivery timeframe, after it's already 2 weeks past delivery date. I called MJ and they will not offer me a refund. They lied to me and told me 4-6 days after they received and shipped out my already late order. Now I have to wait for months for a tent that will be too late to be of use while they have +$500 they will not return to me. Along with the delays part of my order, the footprint, was lost in shipping and they have none left in stock to replace it with...

Do not believe the advertised shipping or trust customer service. Do no expect to be treated well or have your problems solved.

"Purchased Julbo Cham Mountain Sunglasses with Spectron Polarized 3 Lens on sale. On 14th day after purchase found the same item on a bigger sale on Amazon. Called customer service for price match (price match is a part of Moosejaw policy). Customer service came up with unreasonable excuse not to award the price match. Very disappointed with the store failing to provide price match."
"Very Risky Purchase. I never review sites but my experience was so horrible that I hoping to save others the stress and money. I was attracted to the site because it seemed like they had a good deals on winter clothes that I needed. About $650 later, I never received the product and have no way to tell where, to whom, or if the product was delivered.
They aggressively contested my claim and, after hooouurrss of speaking with customer service reps, I was forced to pay the $650. No store credit, replacement products, discount - Nothing. A lot of money for me personally and I still needed to buy warm clothes for the winter.
I can't believe this website is legal. It seem incredibly fraudulent. Save yourself the stress and heartache."

"I’ve had my eye on the North Face Campshire fleece hoodie for sometime now. I was hoping North Face was going to have a Black Friday sale, but then I saw Moosejaw had it and I could get 20% off. I was pumped! Then I saw all negative reviews about the company and customer experience. I decided to take the chance and I’m glad I did. Ordered it Tuesday afternoon and I got it today (Friday). Item that I arrived was exactly what I ordered. I’m very happy with my experience and will order from them again. "

"Ordered a pair of hoka one one arahi 2 from Moosejaw on April 30th. Website said in two days they would be shipped. May 7th, I called in and was told that they hadn't been shipped yet from the actual vendor, not Moose Jaw and that they were coming in a different color than ordered. Cancelled order immediately. "

"Please beware "bait-and-switch"! They promised me the "MJ$" when I placed the order, then they took my MJ$ back after they charged on my credit card and sent out the item! So I contacted them four days later after I received the item asking for "MJ$". They said the promotional codes cannot be combined and the climbing gear can not be returned! So now I stuck with expensive gears once I thought it is a good deal. Their customer service and their business ethic have gone down after Walmart took over. So think twice when you think you are getting a good price at Moosejaw!
Update on Dec/4/18: After file a complaint through BBB, they gave me the MJ$ back today. So I changed the rating to 3 stars (from 1 star). I hope that they would not take the MJ$ away deliberately like they did a few days ago. "
"Their items are never in stock, and they waste weeks of your time. I've now gone through five orders in a row with them trying to just get a parka, and every time, something is off. Either I get a notice weeks or days later that it's not actually in stock - in spite of ordering it with a customer service representative - or I'm sent the wrong thing. I was sent a medium that they had labelled incorrectly as a small (I needed a small), and am now being sent an entirely different parka from the one I ordered. They are not worth your time. Also you have to listen to a racist war criminal the entire time you're on hold."
