"Great service, instant and very good e-mail-contact when they sent me an I/O-shield all the way to Sweden (northern Europe."
"I ordered a DFI 915GM-MGF Socket 479 motherboard to use with a Pentium M CPU from a dead laptop. What i received, best I can tell, is the DFI 915G-TMGF Socket 775. Obviously this doesn't work with that CPU. I called the phone number on the order confirmation five times. It would ring a bunch, then go to a busy signal.
Update: MotherBoardPro contacted me shortly after posting this review. They said their phone system was down that morning. They will be picking up the board and be refunding at 100% plus shipping. It sucks that they didn't have the right board and shipped the wrong one. But they are willing to make up for it."
" ASUS MB P5GC-MX/1333 is no longer available in W.Europe and I wished to have two more. I found a number of US stores with different prices and different service
Melissa was wonderfull in service and accuracy and price, so I put my order with her. Payment via Paypal. 10 days later I had the parcel in hand sent by express post to France.
I am very content and will certainly contact motherboardpro again if needed."
"nwe box & main all cords, disc & install book. as good deal as ny other, yet well chosen quality/price level by seller.
Signed:PHYSICIAN THOMAS STEWART von DRASHEK M.D."
"Bought a DFI motherboard at a great price. Timely shipping delayed slightly thanks to FedEx Ground, no fault of Motherboardpro. I will use this vendor again with confidence. "
"I have ordered two DFI motherboards from Motherboardpro.com, and it has been the best experience I have ever had with any online company yet.
Recently I had and issue with the first motherboard that i ordered from them, I emailed them so that I could get the old invoice. they were able to email me the invoice in less then 24 hours, it was by far the best customer service ever.
They are very reasonable on shipping and always have great deals. I would recommend Motherboardpro.com to anybody who ever wants to buy a motherboard."
"MotherboardPro.com is my favorite motherboard retailler! As a Canadian, it can be difficult and expensive to find rare motherboard models in Canada, let alone find an American retailler who will ship to Canada, and at a reasonable cost. MotherboardPro.com always makes me feel like a VIP customer. They carry the rare motherboards I want, in the quantities I need. Melissa is extremely helpful and she goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Whether you need a mainstream motherboard, or a rare model, use MotherboardPro.com, you will be very glad you did!"
"Great service, real nice folks. Outstanding prices and fast shipping on the top boards out there."
"I CONTACTED MOTHERBOARD PRO AND ASKED FOR HELP IN REPLACING A MAIN BOARD IN AN OLDER PC THEY RESPONDED PROMPTLY AND SUGGESTED A BOARD THAT WOULD WORK.IORDERD THE BOARD THEY PROMPTLY SHIPPED IT AS PROMISED AND THE BOARD WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND MY PC RUNS GREAT I WOULD RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE WANTING TO PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS AS THEY SEEM VERY KNOWLEGABLE ABOUT WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER!"
"not as promised sent a brand new motherboard 790fxpb and promised a cpu that would work with it , however they sent me an 8 YEAR OLD PROCESSOR AND IT WASN'T EVEN AN AMD IT WAS AN INTEL!!!! contacted them they said it dfi is responsible, contacted dfi they said motherboard pro is responsible. around and around ,finally after sever calls later to both companies i got a phone call saying WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS OR MONEY !!!!just for trying to get this rectified they sent me an rma # to return it at my cost and 15% restocking fee!!!! after saying they did not want my money LIARS!!! this is my 3rd dfi board , i purchased my other 2 from another source and i should have stayed with them , this is a big BIG hassle I am not even sure if i will get my money back, since I have been lied to again and again!!! all over an 8 year old Intel processor!!!I have now since took action through the better business beaurel and they already have several other complaints against this company ( for enticing consumers to purchase their products by giving something free away for we dont even know if this processor works.)and their parent co aintgot.com
edit# 1 they have yet to try to contact me on this matter appropriately unless they are calling from an "restricted" number in which case we do not answer "restricted" calls and if they are the ones that call they don't leave any messages either , they also don't e-mail anything except the RMA# as mentioned above.
you have heard that there might be several bad complaints against them , well this is one of them that is speaking out about it!!!
response : motherboard is passing the buck still and not wanting to take responsibility for their said actions for their mistakes and putting it back on the customer!!! WATCH OUT!!!! They also told me that because of this complaint they no longer want or need my business!!!! That is after I posted this complaint!! so as u can see if you post a negative complaint they will blame the customer and tell u they don't want your business!!! They make mistakes too !! But won't own up to them!!!
edit #2 they have contacted me via e-mail through this site.. I don't trust them since they said they no longer want my business.. WOULD U RETURN SOMETHING TO A COMPANY AFTER THEY TOLD U THEY NO LONGER WANT YOUR BUSINESS? I THINK NOT HOW CAN U TRUST THIS COMPANY AFTER ALL THIS?? THEY ALSO TRY TO CALL ,BUT WILL NOT EVEN LEAVE A VOICE MAIL!! THEY ALSO SAID THEY DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB BUT THEY DO INCLUDING MINE THAT IS PENDING.. AND NO WONDER WHY I AM UPSET WOULDN'T U BE IF YOU GOT TREATED THIS WAY??
OTHER COMPANIES MAKE IT RIGHT .. RIGHT AWAY INSTEAD OF MAKING YOU FIGHT AND TELLING YOU THEY NO LONGER WANT YOUR BUSINESS ALSO THEY ARE NOT LISTED ANYWHERE WITH THE BBB UNLESS ITS UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME IN WHICH CASE THE BBB WILL FIND THEM!!! THIS MIGHT BE THE REASON THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS WITH THEM
after all this time you think a good company as motherboard pro claims to be that they would just compensate with a partial refund or give away or send something besides e-mails.. once you paid them for everything that u have bought they want to hang onto the funds as much as possible in any way this includes sending the product back and keeping certain fees and having to pay for shipping as well .. no this is a loss also to the consumer. if you even bought this product and all goes with it how do u get credit back for the processor and memory .. they waited to respond and offer my funds back after the 30 day period.. it sucks and very shady to do business with ... READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING U WILL C I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!
sine this posting they have eliminated me from their database making it near possible to get the board repaired! LUCKILY I HAVE KEPT MY RECEIPTS I ADVISE YOU TO DO SO ALSO. THIS BOARD HAS SINCE SMOKED I BELIEVE IT IS ONE OF THE CAPACITORS IT HAS NEVER BEEN OVERCLOCKED EITHER!!! THIS COMPANY ALSO WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH DFI ALMOST ON A NON-PROFESSIONAL BASIS BUT MORE ON AN PERSONAL BASIS HERE IN THE USA. GETTING AN RMA FROM DFI SINCE THIS POSTING IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE!!! DON'T BUY FROM EITHER COMPANY!!!!"
"This is one of the better places to order a motherboard.
I dealt with Melissa who was very helpful. The motherboard , ASUS m3a78-t arrived 2 days after I ordered it in perfect condition. I got it up and running the same day with a Phenom x4 II processor, 2 sticks of Corsair DDR2 1066 Dominator Memory, Coolmaster 534 case with a Corsair 650 psu. After running it for a couple of days at 1066 RAM frequencywith the suggested settings given by Corsair, 5-5-5-15, ddr voltage at 2.1, one of the memory sticks went bad. System started hanging. Ran memtest on each stick and was that way able to isolate the bad one. For a while I thought there was something wrong with the motherboard and made arrangements to return it. I received a RMA# without any hassle, again thanks to Melissa. I did not have to make use of it because by then I had found out it was the memory. All in all, a pleasant experience with Motherboardpro.com!"
"I ordered a DFI Lanparty X58 Friday night, it shipped first thing Monday morning, and arrived in perfect condition Tuesday. Absolutely zero complaints. "
"Motherboardpros is reliable and keeps me up to date on what is coming in. Melissa has been very helpful in the past of my orders and tech support that I needed. Online support is very good and is quickly taken. "
"This is the WORST experience I have ever encountered in the 10+ years of building computers. I ordered the DFI UT mobo from them just to receive it damaged. After three days of emails I was finally authorized to do a RMA for it back to the manufacturer and I had to pay the shipping. Yes I had to pay the shipping. Another week passes just to be accused of breaking the transistor off myself as well as they said the heatsink was bent due to being dropped. YES they accused me of dropping the mobo but for an additional charge and two weeks later they would fix it!!! Now mind you I didn't hook one piece of hardware up to this mobo and didn't unpackage any of the pieces out of their plastic wraps. To make a long story short I finally had to go to my bank to dispute this charge and get my money back.
EDIT: Apparently this company was upset to the point they contacted me about this review. I don't know who is to blame, DFI or motherboardpro.com but I don't have the time or the patience's to be accused of this product being broken anymore. I just know that I paid $300 for a working mobo, not $300 for a broke then fixed mobo. As a consumer I have rights and my rights have been broken. I have taken my business elsewhere.
EDIT pt.2: I can now confirm that this motherboard was a used motherboard I received. Upon receiving my 2nd motherboard from another vendor I immediately noticed that it had protective film on the north bridge and south bridge unlike the one I received thru motherboardpro.com. It also had a "Easy Clear CMOS" sticker across the pcie's unlike the one from motherboardpro.com. The motherboard I ordered from motherboardpro.com came directly from DFI in California so I am sure motherbopardpro.com had nothing to do and did no know about this and it is more of a DFI problem. It is a sad situation how companies try to take advantage of the consumers and DFI being one of those companies. I just hate that motherboardpro.com got caught in the middle of this as I am sure they are a great company just DFI makes them look bad.

"Second purchase from Motherboardpro.com in less then 4 months. Always a pleasure to work with due to great customer service. Fast shipping as always and best price online! Have no fears about purchasing from this smaller reseller. I will buy from again and I already recommend them to friends.
