"I ordered the Cree LED headlight conversion kit for a 2007 Ford F150. I had been looking for LED headlights for quite awhile and finally found some at a reasonable price from MotorFiend. After I placed my order, one of the guys sent me a personal message saying thank you and telling me when they would be delivered. Since my bulbs were out of stock they even threw in free 2 day shipping. The installation of the product was easy and the headlights were of very high quality, I was impressed. For my application, I did have some difficulty. The computer on my truck did not like the LED lights and was only allowing the bulbs to be on the high beam setting. I emailed MotorFiend and within a couple minutes got a reply back from the tech support saying that they were working on a fix and had not seen my problem before. Within a couple days, I got the parts to fix my problem, and an explanation of why it occurred, all for free. I have never had such a positive experience from an online retailer. This is a great, American company with a great support staff that are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I will go to these guys anytime I can. "
"MotorFiend customer service is great. I ordered some HID lights for my Honda and I guess I selected the wrong bulbs. They picked up on my error and called me to verify. They also refunded me $20 for the cheaper kit I changed to. I think most companies would just ship what you ordered.
I got my HID kit and watched their instructional YouTube video on how to install them. The lights are so bright. I LOVE them! Great product and great customer service!"

I didn't actually know which kit I needed, so I contacted their customer service and they gave me all the info I needed.

"They are a bunch of crooks. I placed my order on 10/8 and have had no call back or email reply since 10/26. I never received my product after more than a month or my refund after requesting my money back on 11/16. They dont reply to emails or return calls. I have already bought, received and installed a similar product from another vendor, all in 4 days."
"So I ordered a hid kit from this site and I am very disappointed with the poor communication skills and poor customer service. I received an email a few days later after I purchased my hid kit (nov 4 2012) and was told 8-15 days I would receive my package and after countless emails with only 3 response from them I still haven't received it. 12/1/12 tracking my package and its still in Hong Kong. I will not recommend them to any of my friends and never order from them again."
"Well i wanted to think motorfiend would be a good site to try new lighting but i thought wrong. As sketchy as people say, i ordered green hids, and i did get updates about the order. I ordered the product on oct 27, 2012. It is now november 15, and i have been emailing them back every day to try to get some kind of response and all i got was one email. Tried calling but their line is temporary down. This is pretty pathetic"
"Everybody's reviews here are about the same for the most part, and I would agree. 1st of all, this motorfiend website is a bunch of bull. I ordered some HID lights. Before confirming the order, shipment options were free standard shipping, which to them was between 8-10 days, or $14.99 express shipping, which was 2-4 days. Most legit sites offer regular shipping, which is between 3-5 business days...anyway, i chose express shipping and confirmed my order. Needless to say, 2-4 days past I have yet to receive my item. I try to contact them to get a status on my order. When you call them, it is some bullspit voicemail wit a robot voice that says "motorfiend", and everytime you call them, you hear waiting music, then it goes straight to voicemail. Luckily, with all the voicemails i left, they called me back days later, and explained to me that there was a problem with express shipping, and they refunded my $14.99 for shipping charges. I later got an email saying my order was shipped via DHL, and i would get it within 2-5 days. Got it the 3 days later. I will not order from this site again, because it is not a trustworthy site. I think i got lucky...I must say the the lights i ordered are great. Nice bright 30000k hid fog lights for my car, although they came in a cheapass package. Great lights, but poor customer service, and untrustworthy business. Dont order from this site, results may vary."
"I would not recommend anyone to buy from this company! Their customer service is terrible and their shipping takes up to 3-4 weeks just to receive my package. Once I finally receive my package after a month of waiting, it was defected so I ship it back to Motor Fiend, and I still have not receive my replacement!"

The service is phenomenal the owner takes time to constantly send you emails updating one with your order's process, and he also takes the time to call you for choosing to do business. "So far I agree with all previous posts. I have called the company several times and it doesn't even ring just says, "you have reached the voicemail. nobody is here to take your call" I have emailed the company 4 times now. I even attempted to contact them via twitter. I finally got an update on the shipper sense they used EC-First class. I live in Richmond, TX and have checked my order, I told them the correct address. The item I ordered is being shipped to Richmond, AR. I have tried to contact them to get this corrected, to no avail. All I want is some help and they are very willing to avoid people it seems. I would not buy from them. Also, I have no doubt in my mind that this will be soon added after this is posted.

Update: I have gone to the EC-First class mail site and it gives a link to see an update on where the package is in the postal system (US Side). Click the link it sends you to the USPS website. The website was useless. I called a rep and she informed me that this is not a USPS postal number. So I am getting more and more reason to believe that my package is not going to arrive."
