"I ordered stuff that was in stock but two days after i ordered it, it says it'll take 6-12 days to get it in stock and won't be sent tell then.. So I switched to one in stock, it shipped out that day! But then there shipping is still is slow as can be.. Idk if its just me, I talked to others and they never had these issues."
"What a joke. I got a helmet for Christmas. It was one I thought I wanted. I put it on and went for a ride...to find out its not what I was looking for. I went to return it and got the run around and eventually ended up at, its "used" and cannot be returned. Apparently there's some magic that occurs when you sit on a motorcycle versus sitting in your living room that automatically taints the item. These clowns aren't interested in customer service at all. They wouldn't help out with store credit or anything. Worst motorcycle buying experience ever.
Stick with Cyclegear or Revzilla..."
"I love ZLA (walmart of moto) but sometimes I like to give the underdog a chance... Motosport seemed good... In all honesty if you know exactly what you're buying and that you'll have no chance of needing to return it then it's like any other store. But here's the [big] kicker. If you order something that might need to be returned (a jacket for example), get ready to get f***ed. Take a look at their site under returns and you'll see your standard "no bs return policy". Here's what really happens. They intentionally make the return process difficult by forcing you to speak to a person before they will issue an RMA. Sure, many places do this - but it irks me (still not a deal breaker at this point). I spoke with them and they did their sales spiel asking why and then interrogating me about if I removed any tags, etc. I get the RMA and they tell me to ship it back in the box it came in. Their site does say that return shipping is on the customer, but what it doesn't tell you is they won't do the usual hooking you up with a return label and subtracting it from the refund. What does that mean you ask? Companies that revolve around shipping have contracts with companies like UPS. They pay an annual fee and in return they get standard $7.99 ground shipping for everything (that's why all these places can offer free shipping without losing money). Issuing you a return label is no cost to them since you would be paying for it. Instead - they stick you with the entire tab and tell you it's your problem to get it back to them. So..... That jacket I bought that I had to return in the box they shipped it in: $75 UPS ground and $45 via USPS's cheapest option. You guys are a joke.......... Do yourself a favor a skip these swindlers unless you like disappointment."
"I ordered a set of casings for my 4 month old RMZ 450, the website let me order them next day air, but when a week went by and I had every single part of my order EXCEPT my casings, I gave them a call. After I sit on the phone for ten minutes with a guy who clearly doesn't ride Bc he has no idea what he is talking about, I find out that my cases were on back order . The cases I ordered Apparently are on back order for every company who isn't a certified dealer for Suzuki . The man gives me an explanation that the cases have to come from Japan and that it will be three weeks before they even make it to motosport. So here I am, two weeks into an order , all bearings and seals and no cases, to only get the actual cases in the mail after 1 month and they are bent. Yes bent, they won't even bolt up to the clutch housing side . Then after arguing with three people and sending case pics to three different people I send the cases back to motosport and get my money back, 8 WEEKS AFTER I ORIGINALLY ORDERED THEM. I'm not rich by any means, but what if what I paid for these cases was all I had in my account , and what if I was a kid who raced constantly and needed the cases in two weeks like normal people, and what if I needed that money they took soooooo long to give me back, for new cases from someone else? Yea, don't ever buy any motor parts from motosport unless you want excuses and can live without a refund for two months "
"I'm glad I didn't look at these reviews first. I ordered a pair of motorcycle pants on Motosport because they were a good price and their policy is you can exchange them for a different size for free once. I thought I might just have to change to a size bigger, but the pants were too long, too (I am pretty short). I used the Live Chat to ask about returning them, in 3 minutes I had a return authorization and a UPS label to return the pants. Outstanding customer service. Oh, and the pants arrived in 3 days, so the shipping was fast, too. I would not hesitate to order from them again."
"I placed an order with them and things went well, the price was under MSRP so I was happy.
A few weeks later I was ready to order another much more expensive item and they had the best price. The item I ordered arrived exactly when they said it would, but it arrived without any instructions and missing the bag of hardware necessary to assemble it.
I contacted customer service and they claimed that the item doesn't come with any instructions or hardware. I was able to acquire a scanned copy of the instruction sheet that they claimed doesn't exist and after providing it to them and pointing out the parts list on the first page that listed all of the hardware they said is not included, they issued me a credit to make up for the missing parts. Better than nothing but the amount they gave is only about 1/4 of what it will take to buy all the correct parts individually."
"BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! First problem...site says the tool bag was in stock, then I received email stating they were waiting for it to arrive. Next and worse problem they advertise the xlarge tool bag with 2 conchos at 12"/5"/5"....I received the medium with 1 concho at 12"/3.5"/4.5". Absolute scam. The old bait and switch hoping I wouldn't go through the hassel of returning the wrong item.
Just to add they would not accept my review. Funny thing is, they are in charge of the reviews so only good reviews get on to their site. How can you honestly judge a site or product when only the positives are allowed??????? Bad business practices everywhere here. "
"They sent me my order quickly. It was the wrong part, but they would not exchange it, They claimed I ordered the wrong part. I offered to pay shipping both ways, but got the brush off. Buyer Beware here!"
"I am a new rider and ordered a helmet. Unfortunately, when my bf checked it for me, he noticed it was too snug. I missed the 90 day return deadline due to being a workaholic, so I requested store credit since everything was still saved in original packaging and never been used. The online chat with 'Paul' was not helpful at all because he kept telling me that I was past my 90 days (which I already knew). He offered me an exchange, but made a sarcastic remark about hoping it wouldn't take me 90 days to select a new one and would not give me store credit to use later. I am an Army veteran, a healthcare worker, and an international volunteer. I found this customer service interaction to be extremely unhelpful/annoying/waste of time. I'll probably just sell the helmet on craigslist. Moral of the story: DON'T MISS THE 90 DAY RETURN POLICY DEADLINE! :("
"Motosport has always been good to me and fast shipping!
These negative reviews about not having the item in stock is funny! unless it says in stock its not in stock, if it says will ship in 1-3 or 2-6 business days that means they have to order it in!"
"Ordered an item that was shown on the website as in stock and will ship within 1-3 business days. 24 hours after my order was placed, the item showed up as backorder and warehouse-processing.
Nine days later, called customer support and the item still hasnt been physically stocked at the warehouse. Forget about it!
Ordered the same item from their competitor for three dollars more, it was shipped the same day!?"
"4 days after paying for the 2 items I wanted and they don't have either one in stock. Are you serious? You didn't tell me that when i was handing you 500+ dollars. I bought 5 other items from different websites. Everything showed up yesterday and today. I'm still waiting to hear back from customer service. Its not like these are rare items. I could of bought them anywhere. I just wanted to save $10. I'll never do that again.
I'll never order from them again. Sorry MotoSport. Next time I'll pay a little extra money from someone who always sends me what i want on time."
"I buy most of my bike parts and accessories from motosport. They have been very reliable, quick, and usually the best price online. You can't really beat that or the service. "
"MotoSport had the stuff I needed for my engine build in stock, and shipped it to me fast... Buying from MotoSport is like dealing with your friendly local dealer from the seventies or eighties... Thanks, Dave MacDonald..."
"Great place to shop from prices are great shipping is fast parts are quality and reliable"
