"35 years ago I acquired a collection of Sempervivums from a nursery in the Western mountains; it may have been Mountain Crest or its predecessor, but I don't recall. Those semps and their offspring have accompanied me through 4 moves, but with some attrition of varieties. When I decided to bring back some variety to my collection, I looked for a source near the original one, even though I couldn't know if it was the same source.
The 10 plants I ordered in early March arrived in a few days in excellent shape and have been planted to grow on. If I figure out a way to enlarge my collection further I will go back to Mountain Crest. "
