Outstanding Services!!

"My car needed a four tire rotation, despite me already knowing the check engine light was on. My plan was to go to the dealership to get an diagnosis check for an fee. When I was called up to the service desk he explained to me in detail about my tires, shocks, struts and coil springs need to be replaced. However, he asked me if I knew that my check engine light was on and explained what may be causing the the light to come on, as well as gave me a price breakdown off the repairs. I was shocked, happy inside, because that good deed saved me a trip and money from going to the dealership. I will now go to Mr. Tire for my repairs!"

Incredibly Disappointing Experience.

"Today was an incredibly disappointing experience at shop #1441 at 5847 Wooster Pike in Medina, Ohio.
Today I dropped my car off for the installation of two new tires and a 4-wheel alignment. I was told to come at 545, if they didn't call me first, as it would be done by 6. I arrived at 550 and waited until 615 for my car. This alone was not a big deal. However....
When the tech pulled my car around to the front for me, as he got out of the car, he stated that he was letting it run for a little bit. I didn't understand why he stated this to me and disregarded it. I then took the car two minutes down the road to top off the tank at the gas station, shutting my car off to do so. Once completed, it became evident what his statement meant. During the servicing of my car, they had apparently mistakenly left my accessory power on and drained my battery. This meant they also had to jump-start my car, and they told me nothing of this incident. My wife had to pick me up and take me the 2 minutes down the road back to the shop, but they had all already left (recall they had my car later than expected, past their closing time).
As result, we returned to my car at the gas station and I walked next door Conrad's to ask for assistance with jump-starting my car. They were kind and helped immediately, however, to make matters worse....
When we opened the hood, the fuse box cover, that also covered the battery terminal that needed to be accessed for the jump-start, was off and hanging to the side. Further inspection revealed that when Mr Tire's technician's were attempting to jump-start my car, they broke the plastic latches on the plastic fuse box cover so now it won't even stay on to protect the fuses and terminal from the elements and weather.
The worst part of all of this is that this was your shop's second chance. Last time I went there, the technicians had broke/lost several of the retainer clips on my engine cover while servicing it. I noticed them looking for something on the ground when I looked through the window, but I hadn't figured out what it was until I received the car and had a look. As the shop is now under new management, I hoped things had changed...
Unfortunately, it seems they are still careless and quick to cover up their mistakes by saying nothing of them. At the very least, an apology and a warning to keep my car running to recharge the battery would have been appropriate.
