"Honestly the worst experience online shopping I’ve ever had. DHL delivered to a communal area not to my flat didn’t ring the bell and then after an extremely patronising and condescending telephone call with a lady called Kenisha I was told I ticked a box for no signature and it would take 3-6 weeks to investigate.
This is untrue; at the end of the order page there is an option for either ‘signature MR Porter packaging’ or the ‘go green carbon friendly plain packaging’. Obviously, most people are going to go for the greener option. To then be penalised for this is outrageous and I’ll be following this up with my lawyer and lodging it as a fraudulent transaction with my bank. Will never be using this fork again."

"Mr. Porter is the worst online store I have ever dealt with. I cannot believe that high end goods like Gucci and Fendi would want to be associated with such a cheap azz site. The customer service is horrible as well. They lie and when you complain ( they could care less). Make a long story short, I had the same experience as others about having their order cancelled . THey had a black Friday special for items I wanted. They take your payment and then cancel the order, your credit card company charges you the amount. I am hoping and praying that the fraud dept of my credit card solves this mess. I have been worried all weekend long thinking the worst. The associates at Mr Porter could care less if you like it or not . I spoke to a supervisor who basically just heard my complaint with her phone away from her ear, not even listening. She was just "yea that's nice and sorry (fake), otherwise complete silence. You could tell by her tone that she could care less. She did not even bother asking me my order number to do some research or to help me fascilate the purchase. AS I type this all 3 items that I ordered are back on their website available for purchase. Thus, the customer rep LIED that the merchandise on my hold had been sold because a few hours later it was put back on thier web site. They also lied when they told me they would reserve the merchandise twice. In the end I am relieved that my order did not go. I never ever will purchase anything from this web site again. "The problem I have with Mr Porter is the same problem like most people with the bad reviews here. For such a high-end brand, Mr Porter has one of the worst customer service qualities I’ve ever encountered. I placed an order two weeks ago, cost me $2400 for 3 pair of shoes which I bought for presents. A week later I found my order got canceled, without giving me any notification whatsoever. I found out when I called the customer service to inquire about the tracking information. The reason my order got canceled is that they could not verify the credit card that I used for the purchase. I have contacted my bank 3 times to let them know I authorized the purchase and that it was not a fraud. My bank told me there’s nothing wrong on the credit card end. So the issue soon becomes he said she said, and I’m trapped in the middle. The bank even offered to have a three-way call with Mr. Porter, but of course Mr. Porter rejects that. What do you expect. I’m not sure why they exist anyway other than putting your money on hold as pending as long as they can, but never to deliver the products, using the same excuse they’ve told hundreds if not thousands of their customers.
The customer service told me to repurchase the order, using a different credit card. The next day it also got canceled. This happened twice. Eventually the manager told me I could never purchase any order from Mr. Porter again, forever! But they’re still holding $2400 x 3 on my bank. Mr. Porter told me my purchase could be a fraud??! Based on my first and terrible experience with them, I could safely said this company is indeed a fraud. Some people maybe got lucky to be able to place and get their orders, but many others had to suffer a bad experience like me. So, BUYER BEWARE!!! "
"I was trying to get some pants from this site i was going back and forth with them for two days they was telling me that ALL 5 of my card accounts was canceling my order and to speak to all my banks about this i had to put in a personal code from my bank to a lot of other outrageous process even spoke to a manager that told me it was really them that was canceling my order and i could not order from there site with no reason why at all i have never went through something like this in my life"

"Mr Porter had a jacket I've been wanting for years on sale for 60% off. I read the negative reviews on this site but decided to give them a try. I received my order quickly and the overall experience was much better than what I've experienced ordering expensive leather jackets from elsewhere. The package they sent me was well presented, came with the hanger and hang bag, the jacket was in perfect new condition and they even included a pre-paid return shipment for my convenience. I do not question any of the negative reviews, but I must say my experience was excellent. "
