"As always, I was very impressed with Mushkin- I ordered a limited production memory package, and it appears that they ran out before my order was shipped. Instead, I recieved the same amount and speed of memory from Mushkin's Black line, at no extra cost. I'm sure that many retailers would have cancelled the order or charged extra in this situation, but Mushkin simply sent out my order (very quickly, of course, and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.

I plan on continuing to order from Mushkin whenever I need memory, and would suggest the same to anyone else."

First, I mis-typed my house number causing you additional work to notify me of the problem. I felt very bad that I made the mistake creating additional processing time for you. You were most pleasant to deal with to get it corrected quickly, but it doesn't stop there.

I received my RAM today, not expecting it yet at all. Not only did you ship it FedEx, but you were evidently out of the fast promo RAM I ordered and upgraded me to DDR II 3200 on hand written note on the shipping label it says, with a hand drawn little smiley face. You folks took the time to really make this special. I don't even know if the RAM even works yet, and I have not doubt that it will, but I want to commend you on this is old fashioned service that I have not seen in many years, if ever. I'm truly speechless.

This was not the first time I've ordered from Mushkin, nor will it be the last.

"Ok , this is my second order from Mushkin :)

Ordered 2x256 HP 2700ddr modules from them early morning (to make sure it would ship that day) this past Wed.(21st)with a credit card . It was 2day shipping but later that evening I had yet to recieve a Fed-Ex tracking #. So the next day (early again) I email customer support & asked if there was a problem . Later that afternoon I recieve an email stating that my order had been flagged because of the diff. Billing/Shipping names (my girlfriends credit card) & was told that it would be taken care of & would be upgraded to "OVERNIGHT" mail .I recieved the ram this morning at around 10am eastern .

"This is my third order from Mushkin, and the third time they've left me absolutely delighted.

For starters, I don't see what the fuss is about in terms of pricing. On Saturday, they were selling 512mb 2-2-2 3200 sticks for $99. That was a very good price, considering Mushkin's quality...but they were selling TWO sticks for 179! For RAM this good, that's a STEAL!

Anyway, I was surprised when my shipping confirmation came on Tuesday, instead of Monday. I had opted for two-day shipping, to get it by Wednesday. As it turned out, they shipped it on Tuesday *OVERNIGHT*!

If only these guys sold other components."

Memory worked great... price is up there but only slightly higher then Corsair's top of the line. Why go this way??? Well, I really like Mushkin's commitment to their customers, as well as the GREAT communication Mushkin's sales/support team has with their client base.

I was able to bounce questions off of sales reps VERY easily on a message board with their reps before even making a purchase.

I can't wait to buy the "twin" to this 512mb chip!

This was the first time I bought "high end" memory... I've always bough generic memory in the past... In doing so I wanted to make sure I really got quality for my money... I'm very pleased with what I paid for what I got, and I doubt I will buy generic, or lesser quality memory ever. (unless of course I was building a non-gamer PC and then I would still buy Mushkin, but instead purchase the "blue-line"."

"I love Mushkin. Ordered Monday morning and it arrived at my work on Wednesday in their very cool airbag thing. How many places send you stuff where the packaging is just fun to play with?

Anyway ordered their basic PC2700 DDR to put into my new Epox 8rda and it's worked flawlessly.

Even better I lost my tracking info and was able to get it from them by calling in (didn't even have to wait on hold that long).

I went with Mushkin over Crucial because I didn't have to pay sale tax (Crucial/Micron has offices everywhere it seems) and they both had some online coupons/rebates so except for the sales tax they were about equal.

I'm sure I'll be upgrading my memory in about 6 months and Mushkin is the place I'm going to go."
