WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORST ONLINE RETAILER

"For 12+ years I have been a customer of myprotein However, as they have grown, it has become evident that the quality of their service has drastically diminished. I agree that discount codes, flash sales are contradictory and are simply a marketing strategy.
Nonetheless, what really frustrates me is their delivery service which explains why many people are turning to other suppliers. They continue to use evri (Hermes) who often fail to deliver and packages never arrive in accordance with the estimated delivery date. It is now 2 weeks I have no order and now i have been told to wait for a refund whilst they carry out their investigation absolutely appalling. I get on some occasions deliveries get delayed but to have 2 orders go missing and then being told to wait longer reflects on how poor myprotein is as a business from a service level.

prices are quite cheap but the quality is also below average. Sometimes they will sell you products that are about to expire!!!

Sometimes they will sell you products that are about to expire!!! And when you will complain about that they will try to make you stop complaining by pretending to be completely stupid, they will ask for photos of the expiry the batch of the product, they will pretend that the photos are not good, afterwards they will not be able to read them correctly and they will ask you really politely to send them again etc.
So my advice is, if you are really in a tight budget you can try their poor quality products but always pay using PAYPAL, if they try to scam you or send you really old products one or two months before expiry (1.5 year olds...), you can use paypal great service in order to get an instant refund!

Had to pay for the returns when it was free return policy.

"I was asked to pay for the return which was said to be free return initially. They sent me a code to my email to use it in the voucher section while processing free returns. Firstly that page never arrived and secondly when I contacted the customer care they said that code is only for UK residents and more over they said no free returns for Canadians. And eventually I ended up keeping that useless product since the return cost was 2.5 times the product cost. "

Item not received.

"Ordered two weeks ago. Package has not even been sent out for delivery yet even though it was two day delivery. I’ve tried to get a refund but looks like they have a strange policy where you must wait 28 days from your purchase notification email. It also looks like they have made the order refunds process difficult deliberately. "

Buyer Beware! DO NOT USE... EVER!

"The absolute worst purchasing experience of my life! Accidentally placed an order at the incorrect address and requested that it be changed almost immediately. They were not able to update the shipping address, and instructed me to place another order to the correct address. They were supposed to contact the delivery team to have the original order returned and refunded, but this never happened. The order was shipped to the incorrect address and 3 months later I have paid for two orders over $1000 and I am still trying to get my refund!
The customer service has been mind-blowingly terrible, with a reply every three days or so asking me to provide them with information that already exist on my file, or on the order I have reference many times in the thread.
BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Do not buy!

"DO NOT buy from myprotein. I have had several correspondence with their customer service about an order I tried to cancel but their website was faulty and didn't let me. I contacted customer service immediately to notify them before it was dispatched.

Received a delayed response and the order was dispatched aka too late.

So I returned it and had to pay an additional $45!!! This fee was not covered. It was shipped from Missisauga, ON but I had to send it to their returns facility in Kentucky! They should cover the cost of shipment this is ridiculous.

It's a shame since I have been buying from myprotein for years. They lost a customer.

Order never delivered, no refund

"Been trying to get MyProtein to refund me for my order which FedEx claims to have delivered but it never was. Since about 4 weeks I respond to the ticket every day and they just close the ticket saying they are waiting for response from the courier company. Why close the ticket if you are still waiting on a response? I have to remind myself to respond every few days just to re-open the ticket so they don't lose track of it; but this was a frustrating experience to say the least."

Never do business with them.

"Never do business with them. First the refused to cancel my order within 2 hours of purchase then they failed to deliver, later they offered a refund on 24 December 2020, 06:52 but failed to refund as well and I didn't get the refund yet. Whenever I ask for my refund they ask me to wait 48-72 hours more. Never ever do business with them.

Edit: I received a response from MyProtien team, as per them refund has been processed on 30th Dec, when I contacted my bank they said no refunds was received. I request MyProtien team to provide the proof of refund which they refused. I've all this communication as proof. Read reviews before placing order

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM IF YOU LIVE IN AMERICA

"There are a plethora of positive reviews to people in the UK, but if you order from the US site it is a SCAM and you will not receive your order. Look around online. My order never came, I was given a fake tracking number, and I receive nonsense emails back and forth for 3 months that did not answer my questions or provide me with any option for reparations. They will take your money ($45 in my case), tell you to "ask your neighbors if they took your package," and then not provide you any options. Maybe their product is great but I won't even know because I don't know if it even exists. BEWARE!!!!

wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy

"I got My order in a decent amount of time But relized i ordered the wrong thing. I asked for a refund. They had me pay my own money to send it back which I can understand. I packaged very professionally with bubble wrap and had it insured with USPS with tracking. I kept having to reach back out to ask if they received it. After a month and a half of back and forth and them telling me they were waiting to hear from the shipping dept. if it was received They told me it was damaged and could not be refunded. I asked them to just send it back so that i didn't totally lose out. Still haven't heard back. So $200 later and ALOT of wasted time, I got nothing. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. BEWARE!"

"Avoid!
Avoid!! Delivery never came. Waiting 3 1/2 weeks for it. Repeatedly emailed them and asked for replacement & then for a refund, but have been stonewalled. Zero help, no replacement, no refund but have happily taken my money. Avoid.

4yr Customer Saying Goodbye and Good Riddance!

"Myprotein used to be a honest and rewarding company. I have used them exclusively for 4 years for all my protein needs. Within the past year they have become dishonest and unreliable. They bait you with "sales" of 25, 40, or even 60% off their products and then hassle you once they get your money. They even zeroed out my hundreds of dollars of reward points without notice and only left a message that stated they had notified me. Customer service is terrible and seem to go out of their way to not provide you with what you need.

I highly recommend you shop other REPUTABLE protein dealers and avoid Myprotein unless you enjoy hassles.

Damaged Products

"READ before you buy. The worst of the worst. I received my products that were left by their delivery driver in the heat and sun for hours and hours rather than having them in a cool dry place. All my supplements were melted, the omega oil caps were melted into one big pill. The protein whey tastes disgusting and caused me stomach discomfort because it was left in the heat for hours. When I sent them the photos they kept replying to me we cant see the damage as if you can identify the damage on a powder form product. More over, upon purchase, they had an offer of buy one get one free on selected supplements. When i added the free items to the cart, it clearly stated my free items how ever nothing was received. Their reply was they gave me discount which didnt happen. The worst customer service, terrible delivery, and disgusting protein and supplements taste. If you want to waste your cash, buy from them. Never ever again."

Stay away

"Would never ever recommend them.. They don't even know their own refund policy.. I ordered on May 31, with the delivery to be by June 12 or sooner.. never received the order... contacted them thrice.. and then finally on June 16 asked for refund and they said , they can't cancel the order as its in transit and sitting somewhere since June 5...they will only refund once the get the order back which i never received. tracking never changed since June 5... Their own refund policy from website is

To receive a refund or a replacement, you must inform us that you have not received your item within 21 days from the day on which you received an email from us confirming that the item had been dispatched"

They kept on denying their own policy ,... took me a lot of convincing and senior manager involvement to get my money back... The rep kept on making his own policies and told "its our policy, That's it"... They kept my money for 16 days, never sent me the product and then gave me hard time giving my money back...

They could have definitely done better but they were not even ready to refund the money at first..can't expect anything more from them to keep a customer..

was excited to try them out but it was an horrible experience... Stay away, buy from somewhere else, don't get trapped by discounts....
