"I have been shopping at NCIX for at least eight years now and it has been my favorite and nearly unique computer store for the entire time since because of the great customer support I have received there every time. I live in Quebec so I have never met anyone from the BC store but during those years I have seen the same names solving my issues through the ticket center and I get a feeling that I can trust these guys and gals. Just once really long ago I had received an unsatisfactory answer from the customer support and shortly after a note from a head support manager (hail Chris!) apologizing for the support issue and fixing everything I had asked about using next day shipping and even including a little extra to compensate.
Last December I bought a Radeon R9 290 and there was a promotion of free games where it should have came with a Gold Never Settle Forever Space coupon but NCIX was out of those coupons because it was an offer expiring that very month so they sent me a Bronze and Silver coupon to compensate for the lack of Gold ones. Then some people complained mildly on the forums that the Bronze + Silver was as many games but not the same selection than the Gold. NCIX spoke back with AMD and a week later sent the Gold coupons to all those who had bought the cards and they told us to keep the Silver + Bronze ones which means that with our cards we actually got 6 free triple-A games instead of 3 !
Last week I bought a GTX 970 for a friend through NCIX and there was no ongoing game promotions but a week later nVidia announced that they were bundling Witcher 3: Wild Hunt free with their games which made me think it sucked my friend had bought it just one week before. At any other store to get that promotion you would have had to return the card within the 15 days of purchase for a refund and buy it again to be applicable for the promotion but (thanks a lot Brad !) at NCIX they just added the free 50$ value game to my order as if I had bought it during the promotion time.
NCIX has that special consideration for always making me feel satisfied with my purchases. To all my previous experiences NCIX has always been fair and just to me as a customer, and then they add a little extra which makes it definitely nice to do business with them. :)"

I purchased computer parts back in November in order to start a brand new build. It has been a while since my last build, and after spending weeks meticulously researching parts, I decided on an nVidia GTX 970 for my GPU. This card had specs posted on all major retailers and websites, which allowed me to make an informed decision to purchase it. I specifically chose this GPU as the specs appeared excellent and would work synergistically with my other carefully selected components. However, it was recently observed that the specs that have been published were false. NCIX had the same incorrect or falsely advertised specifications posted on their website. There are currently multiple class action lawsuits underway against nVidia pertaining to this entire debacle.
After carefully reading the reasons for the specs being considered false, I reached out to NCIX expecting a justifiable response and action to remedy the issue since I have been a long time customer. However, what I came to experience is nothing short of disgraceful. Not only do my repeated requests for updates to the ticket go un-answered, but when answers are eventually provided, they always circle back to shifting the blame on the vendor, or manufacturer of the hardware.
Going forward, I will no longer purchase any items from NCIX. In addition, I will recommend that all my clients, friends, and family do the same. I suggest anyone reading this to look elsewhere (such as Newegg or Amazon) where it has been reported that these retailers are going above and beyond to correct this mistake, or possible deliberate falsification of important component information."
"(This is an updated review) I have been a good customer of NCIX for many, many years, and almost never order anything from other stores as I ask them to PM almost everything when their price isn't competitive. Shipping is usually fast, although sometimes they drag a bit. But usually they do ship very fast. I was very satisfied with them. But on my last order, they failed... but came through in the end. I took delivery of 2 monitors and discover quickly that they both suffer from a flickering effect/problem. It took almost 30 days to get them to accept an RMA, requiring proofs that I couldn't provide. But in the end someone stepped in and they did agree to take them back for a credit. I give an overall 4 because they were difficult to deal with at the beginning, but it looks like my case was incorrectly handled by new support staff. Ok, I can live with this. Nonetheless, it's not a 5 for the moment, let's say 4. Bottom line: they came through, and I'm still an happy NCIX customer."
"I usually don't bother with writing reviews, I feel that NCIX has really earned it. Initially I was upset because I received a wrong game code, and I waited nearly 2 weeks for a fan to come in, but customer service was very polite when I made inquiries. Eventually, I was provided with the correct code and you allowed me to keep the other one, which was very gracious of them, plus I received a full refund for my fan. The rest of my order came fully functioning as promised and I am overall very happy with my order. Christmas is a busy time for them but they remained professional and understanding. They've definitely gained a loyal customer."

"It's not often that I feel compelled to write a review pro or con but my recent experience with Erick in the Tech Service Department makes me want to acknowledge his exemplary support.
I had some issues getting my system up and running and from the moment I opened a ticket to the successful resolution of the problem I felt that I as a customer was treated with empathy and respect.
His correspondence was always very prompt and not condescending in any way, he also showed a great deal of tenacity, diligence and creativity in solving the problem.

"I had a problem with one component of my PC. But I had been using it for 4 months, it was out of warranty, and really NCIX could have simply said "good luck with the manufacturer buddy". Instead, they listened, engaged in a dialog with me, and ultimately decided to grant me a return with a full refund. They did *not* have to do that. They have shown a wonderful willingness to bend the rules, really listen and do what was right for me, not necessarily for them. They were perfect through this all.
