Didn’t get everything I ordered.

"I ordered pens through a pronation and didn’t get the black sleeves to put the pins in. When I called, I was told it was too late. They couldn’t or would not fix it. "

Terrible Service

"Ordered a customized pen came out NOTHING of what it was supposed to look like. Totally different color and style of what I wanted. Called multiple times before ordering to make sure I was putting in an order for what I wanted still did not come out properly. When I called to get the issue resolved no one could help me I got transferred around, put on hold I am very disappointed. After speaking to multiple people e-mailing back and forth and then having to call again because I was not getting a reply all they offer was 10% off my next purchase instead of helping with the problem of the order that was already purchased. "

Horrible Product and hidden Fees

"Please BE AWARE of this company as they are not honest. I ordered after they sent us sample product came most did NOT work. Plus when they sent Invoice I noticed they added charged for "SET UP"??? without knowing us. We sent the bills then now they they are harassing us to pay the late charged after 1 week they cash the payment? If I would give 0 I would, unfortunately there is no selection on it. Never re-commend to anyone. Will tell to STAY AWAY THIS PEN COMPANY."

Most bizarre company I can recall working with!

"Ordered pens 3 weeks out for an event. After 1 week called since heard nothing and from their website it looked like they would ship out within a couple of days. When I called their customer service agent seemed stumped as well. She gave me a shipment date another 10 days out. Apparently these were being made by a reseller of theirs??

This would be too late for our event so I had to cancel the order - so now we are July 22nd and still no refund. Too long to go into detail but I have their emails and messages documents and they are telling me since I paid via Paypal they can't refund me until August 16th.

I spoke to Paypal and they are stumped - no reason for them not to refund me immediately. They claim if they refund me and then paypal refunds me it would be refunded twice. This is a downright impossible since there is only 1 transaction.

Most bizarre company I have ever dealt with. However, the good news is we were able to then buy personalized pens the Sunday before our event from National Mug - the pens were shipped out Monday morning and we had them on Wed for our event Saturday.

So, learned a lesson not to ever order from National Pen again - I would recommend using Paypal as we will get our money back much quicker than National Pen states since we had to open a claim with Paypal which is so crazy.

My recommendation would be a "0" if I could give them that rating.

Horrible customer service

"My order was delivered three weeks late and I was sure I paid for it! If I would not contact the store and spend 1 hour on the phone with the store manager, my order probably would arrive even later! The person who was responsible for shipping even didn't know where there is DC or Maryland on the map, and it took him forever to find it and count how much would cost express shipping! How I found later, my payment was canceled by the company and they put another date of my order without notifying me, and after one month I received a physical invoice already with some late fee and even after my e-mail exchanges with the customer service they didn't cut the late fee, telling me they don't have access to my account and I have to call and explain everything again and then pay by phone (even if I said I was out of country)! How it's even possible that customer service cannot fix their company issues! They should not have charged me for this horrible experience at all! Instead, I paid more than supposed!"

Use a different company!!

"I placed an order for our small business in April 13, 2019. In May I decided to check and see what was taking so long. A few weeks later, my order finally shipped. I kept checking to see about tracking only to discover my order had been damaged. I checked back with the company via email and they said they placed a claim with the shipper.
It is now July 15, 2019, and I STILL have not received what I ordered. I did, however, receive a bill with a late fee added. (Order # 42009405719) I wish I would have read the reviews BEFORE ordering. Avoid this company!!

Super disappointed!

"The colors are not the same as they portray on their website. They state satisfaction guaranteed, but that is not true. When I stressed that the color is not the same as on the website, they told me that they only sell one color yellow with that pen and so therefore it is the same as on the website. What kind of logic is that? Just because they only sell one color yellow does not mean that they portray the colors accurately. They offered to give me a 20% discount on the order and that is all they would do for me. I cannot use these pens and I cannot return them. Also, the imprint is unreadable. It looked good on the website design, but not in real life. Super disappointed! "

Horrible company, horrible service

"They’ve made errors on my credit card, billing errors, their customer service says something different every time, and now they’re charging me late fees on an order that was prepaid. Trying to resolve it is like banging my own head onto the box of staples on my desk. Over and over and over."

Dropped the ball...litterally

"After placing an order for customized stress balls through national pen I received an email to confirm the artwork. I replied within 5 minutes approving the artwork and asking for the order to proceed. Over a month went by and I still never received my order and so I called National Pen. I was then told that the order was cancelled by the representative, only I was never notified by phone or email regarding my order, and so I just assumed they were still on their way. Upon trying to find a resolution to this problem the only offer I was given was to A) replace the order with an order for pens, which was of no help as I had already ordered pens from their company. Or B) replace the order with their company with a $100 increase in the price! I was in shock on the phone and could not believe this was seriously how the customer service department was going to handle this problem. I have used National Pen on many many occasions, and am still in disbelief at the way they literally dropped the ball and would not at all work with me to resolve this issue. I now have no product for my 300 customers expecting this product. "

"I ordered some pens, they came relatively quickly and they don't write, its a worse image for me than not having anything to give out.

Anto cap it all off they send you to a dubious collection company while dealing with their awesome customer service.

CORRUPT STAY AWAY!!!

"National Pen Company is a very corrupt company. I ordered 4 different colors for my pens. They sent me a separate box for each color and charged me a separate shipping charge for each box. I was charged !
$12.95 for shipping for each box containing only 30 to 36 pens!!! They sent me pens with the wrong e-mail on them. They redid the order but when I received them, the inscription on the pens was faint and inferior to the original order( which was wrong). They refused to redo the order!

need to cancel my order NOW

"Ordered and paid for the pens on May 2, 2019. Were told the products should arrive within about 2 weeks. Since then, never had any update on the order status, now just saw an email saying the product we ordered was "out of order until July". We emailed them back today, asking them to cancel the order, and refund us the total amount NOW.

We are not only extremely disappointed that we paid and they could not deliver the products for more than a month. These pens were ordered for an event, now the event has long passed. So needless to say it hurt our planning and success for the event, but had already cost us time and money on the order! But more importantly, our concerns and disappointment are about the lack of caring for the business customers gave them!

Questionable business practices

"They advertise that a salesperson will contact you before the pens are made. They rotate salespeople and their English skills are questionable and then print the pens tack on a 30 dollar set up charge and add 12.95 in shipping from Tennessee to Indiana . I think that is excessive. The pens are double the originally advertised cost. Then “customer care” is very polite but not helpful at all."
