"Don't order from here! Exactly as so many others described, I ordered a supposedly in-stock laptop battery, and it was magically out of stock by the time my order went through. Two weeks later, I still have no battery or estimate on when I'll get it. I've canceled my order and am buying from a seller with a reputable rating."
"These guys really stink. I ordered on the webiste, says they were in stock. next day it says "voided" but they charged my card TWICE and now it is near impossible to get in touch with anybody there.. The automated phone system is joke.. I have called 25 times today, all day, and the response is all the same some bull about heavy call traffic and excessive wait times and then it lets you leave a message which has yet to be returned... It is fraudulent, shoddy companies like this that give the internet business a bad rap for all... BTW, the Better Business Bureau has a rating of "F" for these jokers... avoid these guys like the plague, you will be glad you did!"
"I ordered batteries for cordless phones on 11/04/09. On 12/09/09 I checked their website to see why I hadn't gotten the batteries yet and it was marked "voided". I used the webpage to submit a question, asking why my order was voided and they replied that they had trouble processing my credit card and needed to complete the transaction by phone. After reading the reviews here, I will take my business somewhere else, even if it does cost me more."
"This seems to be a very shady and hit or miss company. I too experienced the same problem many other reviewers have expereienced. I ordered a laptop battery from them on 11/11/09. At the time, the battery "appeared" to be In Stock. After a few days and no confirmation e-mail, I sent them an e-mail to inquire about the status of the order. No Response to my e-mail. I then called them to inquire about the order and had to leave a message. A rep did call me back (missed the call, no voice-mail left), and did end up sending me an e-mail informing me that the battery was on back-order and to try back within a week for an update on availability. Then I received the now famous e-mail stating that needbattery.com apologizes for the back-order, and that although it appeared the item was available when I purchased it, since my purchase it became back-ordered. I checked back a week later, to see if any updates were available.....no update on order. I canceled order via their website today, cancelation did go through (thank god). Bottom line, this company does not seem dependable at all, and I will never do business with them again. "
"Just like everyone state! website states in stock when ordering, but then they wait a WEEK to tell you it's not in stock and no idea when it will be in stock. Typical email, it was in stock when you ordered. Yea, right. I don't think they have anything in stock
Very poor service. STAY AWAY> Save a week of waiting and order from someone else who really has it in stock"
"Very pleased with service and speed of my order. I ordered batteries for my camera and got them yesterday the 27th. Thank you"
"I actually ordered one set of camera batteries for my Canon from Needbatery.
Received them in 3 days shipped by "FedEx" ground.
Their customer service was kind of good and the price was the best point comparing to other online stores!"
"Don't buy from here. Just as others stated, the items will appear in stock until you order. Then 2 days later you'll get an email saying the item is backordered. Now 20 days later it is still backordered. I know when I purchase from my direct suppliers, I get items in 2 days... Not 20.
Communication with them is horrible. Email responses 2 days later with useless information. I received an automated email letting me know it was backordered, then a week later I email asking for status. They email back stating that "A backorder email was sent to you informating you of the status" and "it should be available in 3-5 days". Sorry buddy, still wrong.
I'm sure the only thing this company stocks is AA batteries, everything else they probably order from China with a 3-4 week lead time."
"I received great service from these guys. I ordered my battery and got it shorlty later. The service was fast and customer service was very helpful when it came to choosing the correct battery, The prices are some of the lowest I could find, therefor I think they deserve a good rating from me."
"Orderd my laptop batteries from Needbatery got the item in 3 days shiped fedex ground. great customer service"
"I've purchased from needbattery.com three times in the past year. Their service has been quick and efficient, and their prices are very low. Their batteries last as long as brandname, and are much cheaper. I have found their batteries to be a particularly good value."
"TERRIBLE. I needed this battery for my laptop for my trip to Europe. This is the message I got around the date I was supposed to receive my package.

That's it. I'm SOL. I'm leaving for Europe in two days.
"If you decide to wait." What the hell does that mean? They didn't give me an option in the email. "
"I ordered 3-2.4V batteries for my cordless phones and got the incorrect batteries. I tried reaching them through their phone number but keep getting their voicemail. I would not recommend ordering through NeedBattery because this was a needless mistake and they are obviously disorganized and don't have appropriate customer service to handle it. I still have not received a refund for their carelessness. Being a busy person, I assumed that ordering online would take the hassle out of going to the store. Don't order from this company."
"I ordered a battery for my dell vostro 1500 for 57 bucks incredibly cheap price compared to the other places ive looked around. I got the battery in a few days (being im located in california myself). However the battery was not what I ordered and when I called to recieve a rma she even told me she was confused to why I was sent that battery. Well I have the battery sent back (on my dollar mind you for their mistake) and I include insurance and delievery confirmation.
Well come the 10th or 11th, I wanted to know what was up with my order, so I called and said she'd have to call the warehouse to see if my package was delievered and she said she would return my phone call. It never happened so about two hours go by and I called them to tell her (same women I didnt ask for a name though) that I had delievery confirmation and it said it was delievered on the 9th. She said it was a big warehouse and that they hadnt called her back yet. Fine w/e. I called this passed monday (3/16/09) to again find out about my order. She said it was pushed up to a supervisor and that she would remind him. I asked how long the refund would take she said generally 24-48 hours sometimes 72.
Again fine and fine. Now here it is the 20th no call no refund nothing. Ive tried to call them back several times today and it always says im the first customer on wait, but then I get sent to a automated voice telling me the hours of operation (which im calling in). Sometimes I fell ive even been hung up on. For no reason at all the music over the phone would cut out and take me back to my dial tone (land line..no dropped calls)
At this point I will be filling a dispute with my bank come monday morning which would be the 23rd of march 2009. I will also fill a compliant with the bbb at that point. As well as make sure to let the word get around that this business is a scam and warn people to stay away. "
