"Placed order in October and credit card was charges, it was place on backorder till mid December. Called in December order was told mid January. No product and no refund. Have been trying to contact ever since. Phones are not working, Web site is down. Contacted Akron, Ohio BBB and filed complaint. "As other reviewers have recently stated, placed an order, was charged and never received what was paid for. Have been calling and emailing for over a month. No responses. In fact, when you call, every option in the menu-tree results in: "Sorry, this number has been placed out of service." Here's the thing. The number's still good (i.e., the service provider hasn't cut their phones) because their automated phone system still picks up the line. It's that system which has been instructed to give the disconnection message. So, in my opinion, our inability to reach anyone at NTX is deliberate and dishonorable. At a minimum, these guys have started to smell a lot like fish. Stay away from this company."

Fine, I can wait. 3 weeks later received another email saying that the item was discontinued with no replacement, and that a refund has been issued. The same item# MWK-2646-20, Is currently for sale on there site for $50 more. Fine, You listed it to cheap and don't want to sell anymore at that price. "I’ve order many times with great results. Once I ordered a tool that was on backorder. Didn’t realize until after the fact. I called and they promptly gave me a ETA. I also was delayed because I used my PO Box for address. They don’t deliver PO Box. UPS I believe. Both my faults. I’ve talked to A sales agent by the name of Tony. He gave me his personal company email address for any other problems or future toll inquiries. I was skeptical at first as to reading the reviews. I think they’ve got there inventory system all sorted out. It says if an item is on backorder. When in doubt give them a call. That’s what I did. I’m a mechanic and I use my tools every day. I’ve purchased most of them through NXTTOOLs and Coastal. Same company. Great prices that can’t be beat. "

"Ordered 4 jump start boxes 7/3/17 at a cost of $480. Received jump boxes a few days later- Didn't take notice until company owner opened one shipping boxes only to find they'd sent the wrong ones. I contacted the company via email to get them replaced. I received back an email stating that the one's I had order were discontinued. I wrote back and suggested that as a business, it would have been a better response to contact my company and ask what other product we would like since the product they(still) have listed on their site to sell has been discontinued. However since that is not what happened- your company just arbitrarily picks out a completely different product and sends that? No thank you. So no response.. excellent.. I submit (replied) back again to the "sales manager" and requested to return & refund; No response. I go to the website; submit to get an RMA & return & refund- no response.. (one man show?) Then I read the tiny obscure print that says "Items not returnable after 15 days" It wouldn't have been 15 ++ days if someone had responded to multiple requests.. There is nothing wrong with the items, they're simply not what we ordered. If they had let us know, and offered a comparable product, then it would have turned out way better.. "
" Ordered Strut tamer II, received e-mail saying 1-2 weeks b/o. Called in 2 weeks, said moving will ship next week. Next week was to still moving said ship today or tomorrow and they complained to me about price increase to them now. Called again couple days 1st guy said back order, 2nd guy, Ben same guy as other times said defiantly will ship today will send tracking number. Called Ben again 2 day later, said they are e-mailing number, will forward to me. Later that day get message from David saying they need $72 more dollars for shipping. Gave him the whole more detailed story, more lies. Told them to credit me. Reported to credit card company also.
So over 4 weeks, 6 calls minimum 20 min each and nothing from them but lies."
"I have tried ordering from NTXTools/Coastal Tool Supply (not knowing at the time that they were both the same company). The first two times they cancelled my orders and refunded my money a week or two later. This last time, March 11, 2017, as stated above, I tried to check my order and their webside said no order existed. I emailed and never heard back. When I filed a claim to get my money back they sure responded quick and said the items would be shipped in a few days (17 days after I placed my order). They also lied stating that they had emailed me about the delay. They did not and did not even bother to respond to my emails. "
"I recently ordered an air tool for a job at work on February 11th. About 10 days passed by- no tool & no notification (email, phone) of reason. I called them- they said that it was backordered and would be another 2 weeks. I said Ok... I called again at 13 days to check status and was given the 2 weeks out story again. That was March 7th. No apology was offered by the gentleman I spoke with. They had my $$ for nearly a month and no tool. I had to tell them to refund my $$ so that I could order it elsewhere, which they did. It's unfortunate because their price on this particular tool was good. Irritated that their website did not state that the tool was in back order status when I ordered.
