"As a repeat customer (my first order in fall 2010 was a very good experience) I have ordered Samsung SII (i9100) from NewayCI/NCI. The phone that I receved was not new, the box was opened, battery unwrapped and dead, smudges on the phone. The history in the phone showed that 2 phone calls were made to Toronto numbers, the Rogers APN was already set up. My email inquiries about if this was a returned phone were not answered. I wanted to know the reason for the return. No explanations so far."
"Order Phone Dec 30 still pending Jan 4. Contact Via web site form. no reply Jan 4 or Jan 5. Open paypal dispute, order now shows as cancelled, get a reply Jan 6 that they were on holidays. Will ship phone immediately if dispute cancelled. I cancel dispute and as of Jan 9 still order shows cancelled. I call their 800 number and leave message and they call back and say they will ship phone. Jan 10 order still shows as cancelled. Jan 10 afternoon order shows as shipped with tracking #. Seems like they are shooting themselves in the foot.
I do a lot of online shopping and this has been the worst experience."
"Well, here's the line of events in chronological order.
Dec21 - placed my order on newayci.com for Samsung S8530 smart phone. Order was pending.
Dec28 - Still pending order. Called and e-mailed Newayci with request to update me with the status of my order.
Dec29 - another call. No answer.
Dec30 - another call. Still no answer.
Jan02 - Another call and another e-mail. No answer.
Jan03 - Phone call to PayPal. They escalated a dispute with Newayci. Another call to merchant and still no answer.
Jan 04 - New e-mail and phone call to Newayci. As usually, no answer.
Jan05 - Next phone call. Boom, and my order cancelled with no explanations.
Their customer service just non existent. This is very surprising since I already ordered phone from them and have had no problems. Now I'm waiting for refund. "

"NewayCI / NCI cancelled the order with no reason attached. I replied to try to find out why the order had been cancelled. They replied again that the order was cancelled. This doesn't give me an explanation of why it was cancelled. The experience dealing with NewayCI / NCI was disappointing. "

"I wasn't impressed with the way my transaction was handeled with NCI. I ordered a cell phone from them and had an inquiry I wanted to ask via phone. When I phoned no one answered the phone so I proceeded to send them an email inquiry, which was not responded to either. My concern was just asking them to direct their courier service to leave my package in the mail box as I won't be home to sign for the package. I had no other choice given the fact that they only send packages to your payapal account address. Next thing I knew was I received an email from paypal refunding my order with no explanation. What really baffles me is that I never received a response to my email inquiry. I consider this very bad customer service. Most established companies would at least respond to your inquiry first, before they go ahead and cancel your order. I really wish I knew the REAL reason why you cancelled my order. Was it because the phone I ordered was out of stock or because I had a specific concern with your courier service? You really shouldn't disregard customer's concerns like that because you business won't survive without customer satisfaction. "
"I am a little upset that it was not clear that I was getting an Asian version of my Nokia E6. Happens to be no big deal on this particular phone (Nokia E6), just has additional Chinese characters on the QWERTY keyboard and is already a pentaband 3G phone (ie compatible with all networks). Not very forthright though. Could mean a paperweight on other phones. Also means no leather case :(
The phone appears brand new but the box was clearly opened (screen protector I ordered was inside the box). Not honest as one would assume they are getting an unsealed brand new retail phone.
Aside from that, the price and service was great."
"Great service, esp. if you need a good phone that is not offered by you carrier (e.g. I picked Wind and their selection is limited, while here you can get real stuff). Some delays, however, happen. But once the product is delivered, it works great. Would buy from them in future."
"I was very happy with NewayCI's service but unfortunately their advertised product (remote unlock for ANY cell phone) wasn't able to unlock my phone. Although that's what everyone advertises but no one was able to unlock my Xperia Arc. I would buy from NewayCI again, and probably will for my next mobile phone."

The order is with you since a week and you are not sending the person neither are you interested in informing the person about your failure.. Very poor service"
"They provide fake info on their web site.I ordered a nokia x5 3 weeks ago but it never arrived. e mail enquiries were never answered. the person on the phone always assured that the phone would be shipped tomorrow which never came. very incopetent people they do not know what stock they would be receiving and when.now i am waiting for my refund. i hope i do not have to take any legal action for the refund."
