"Shopping at Newitts.com was fine in itself - good website and prompt turnaround, however the whole experience was marred by the awful courier service DPD. I have had many issues with DPD in the past and generally avoid shopping in places that use them to deliver.
They not only failed to deliver my parcel, twice, but on the third occasion they tried delivering it to the wrong house (maybe in another street, who knows?), pretended I wasn't in (I was in and waiting for them) and left. I ended up calling Newitts for help. They gave me the seller's premium line number to call which I was on hold for 36 minutes but still could not get through to DPD.
I eventually had to go and collect my parcel from somewhere that was very inconvenient as I don't have my own transport and the depot was in the middle of an industrial estate. I am now faced with £20 premium phone line bill which DPD refuse to compensate me for. So overall I have paid Newitts for a bad delivery service and it has cost me almost as much in incidental costs as the items themselves, which in fact had to be returned after all that.
I beg you Newitts - if you don't want to lose customers then PLEASE change your courier service. Even Royal Mail are way better than DPD."
