" Be carefull. We purchased some systems back in October 2001. We have had several failures, and NexGen was always great about taking care of us.
We had another computer fail this week. When I called NexGen, I was told that they have changed ownership (now Lethal PC), and will NOT honor the 3 year warranty."
"What can I say...I got a great system for a great price. When i got the system (didn't take too long to get) it worked great except for a minor video card problem which was not fault of their own. Customer service is great and I'm still in contact with the guy who built my computer. Not as just customer-employee but as friend-friend!"

" My only complaint would be service is a little slow. Was told item would be shipped on the 15th, wasn't shipped until the 21st. The computer made it ok and worked beautifully. I don't like the keyboard, I think they should go ahead and spend the extra $5-10 extra for a decent generic keyboard, I went ahead and bought a new keyboard right away.
Other then that... I think the prices were very reasonable. My emails were answered promptly and my questions were answered...

"I purchased three machines from NEXGEN. The first machine, shipped to Tulsa, OK. Arrived on time, user did experience problem with video card. Tech support and Dian E. assisted. Tech by phone, Dian by e-mail. Replacement card ordered and installed with help of Tech Support by user. User loves it. 2nd Machine, used at College, Fond du Lac, WI. Initially, came setup with sound off, user changed CMOS with help of Dad aka semi-pro tech support, machine works great - User loves it. 3rd machine, Whitelaw, WI. No problems on setup. Machine works well. Keyboards shipped with machine a little bit light... but they work. I would buy again from NEXGEN... My wife tells me we need to upgrade the home computer... therefore, it must happen.

"They did ok. They took a while to build my system which was just a basic system that they had to through together no software or anything. When they finaly got it togethter I had to add a different address to my credit card or they would not send it. They had no problem taking the money from the card with the original address but would not ship it without a physical address. It is an ok system and you cant beat the price but I do not know if I would order another one and would certainly not put my friends through this mess so I do not recommend them buying anything from them. Just my opinion that is what they asked for that is what they got"
"From several different vendor ratings on this site I chose Nexgen Technologies Inc for my customized computer order. The pricing was good; a less expensive configuration from other vendors can be had, but their ratings were poor. I ordered my customized computer via their website, without consumer support. I anticipated not needing to use costumer support at all. The computer arrived on time and properly configured - EXCELLENT.
My Nexgen computer at fingertips, I installed my software and transferred files from the previous computer. I did have problems with the Sony CD-R/RW not being able to read jpeg files from 3.5-inch compact disk media. This was an important issue for me because my Sony digital camera records images on 3.5-inch disks that I then insert into the computer to “play around” with the images. Befuddled and perplexed, I contacted customer support via phone and e-mail. Over the years I’ve learned to barrage my computer problems until I find a reliable source. I did receive some sincere, but mistaken advice from their phone tech support, but had fortunately e-mailed my concerns to NexGen as well. Mr. Dian Esterhuyse at Nexgen was all over the problem, via e-mail. Through several e-mails, in which Dian responded within 24 hours, he did research regarding the camera and discovered the difficultly was a computer software issue. The problem was quickly resolved to the best of his ability (I have since purchased the needed software to read and write to the 3.5 CD disks). Dian was prompt, personable, and courteous throughout our numerous correspondences – SUPERB.
When unforeseen issues arise it is splendid to have customer support that has the ability (knowledge, perseverance, willingness) to resolve the problems to the customer’s satisfaction (the-way-it-ought-to-be). I find no fault in the NexGen computer system and the customer service is “right there”. Enjoy your purchasing experience with NexGen.
