"These guys have flown the coop! I have atleast 5 PC's I am responsible for that are still "under warranty" and lastfew times I have checked, both the website and 800# are non existant. (18008644411) No notice, no letter, no indication of this happening. Anyone know what happened?? I have to say, they always treated me right for the almost 8 yrs I have dealt with them, but this really sucks now! Bill Sr., Bill Jr., & Roman.. Cant believe you did me like this!

"After receving my order the system would not operate and tech support said i was doing something wrong. Finaly after numerous atempts they said send it back for testing. A week later they clamed the cpu was bad and they were wating on a shipment. I got it back about two weeks later with the board doing crazy things. once again they clamed my falt. A local dealer said no the board is bad. nxgen said send it back. two weeks later they clamed they were testing it and it would be taken care of that day and be shiped . well two weeks later and no system. no one answers the phone. are they still in bisness the layers will find out. if they are STAY AWAY FROM THEM NOT WORTH THE HASTLE"
"If I came here and read the ratings for nxgen.com before I ordered the item, I wouldn't be so frustrating now!! This website really s@ck! I ordered a pentium 4 processor and check out at $215 total, but finally, they charge me $24x.xx total without any notice. Differcult to solve this problem!!

"This was my third purchase of a Barebone system from nxgen.com and once again everything was as smooth as can be. First purchase was for the P4 value system w/ ECS motherboard, celeron processor and DDR memory and everything came installed and has worked with no problems. The next two were for the same P4 Case/motherboard and an Athlon XP Case/mobo but no extras (found other items a little cheaper somewhere else). So far so good with nxgen. Packed nicely, shipping estimate was accurate and customer service was good as well. Too bad the P4 special is over."
"I placed an order in January for 2 XP Processors. Because the price was so good, they sold out and I received an out of stock notification. I receive several more OOS emails over the next few weeks.
When I finally call Dave, he informs me that they had them in stock, but will not be shipping my order until they reach the price I ordered them at. He agreed that this was odd and that if he were a customer he would be disappointed in such a situation, but offered no remedy. What bothers me most is that NO effort was made to communicate this to me. As little as an email would prevent me from posting this negative review."

"I purchase a MSI Metis 266 slim PC from them. When I ordered it the webpage said it was in stock but when I got the confirmation e-mail it said it was back ordered. Honestly, I was not surprised because of the scarcity of this item and since this item was just released by MSI. NextGen would e-mail every 3 days or so saying the status of the order. It was backordered for about 3 weeks all said and done. When I recieved the computer everything packaged well and correctly. I still have yet to test the machine since I don't have all of the other parts at the moment to test, but it still was still in the retail box when it was shipped so I have little worries about it being bad. "Ordered 1 item on December 13, 2002, which showed in stock. Did not receive an email confirmation after I placed to order, and still haven’t. Ground shipping was supposed to take 5-7 days. Come to find out the item was dropped shipped, which means it was not in stock, but shipped by the manufacturer. Today, December 20, 2002, their web site finally shows the order shipped, and has an estimated delivery date of December 24, 2002. This is 11 days, not 5-7 days. I hope the item arrives in time for Christmas. They are nice enough to talk to on the phone, but a good Internet purchase it one where you do not have to talk to anybody on the phone about anything! Over the years I have had many occasions to witness many different and interesting scenario's at their Establishment.I can say this about the Staff there, They are TOP Notch in all respects. I have never had a problem with returning, defective, failed, unused products. If you are within the appropriate time limits, there are no hassles. I don't know of anyone who will give you 30 Days to decide whether or not you want to keep an entire Computer System!!! "Buyer Beware! I ordered a Thrustmaster NASCAR Pro Digital 2 steering wheel from Next Generation for my nephew (shipped directly to him). When he received it, it was obvious the item was used (and also defective). We shipped it back to Next Generation...with the agreement that our shipping costs would be refunded and a new one sent. Unbelievably, when he received the replacement, it was also used and defective (different defect this time). Next Generation (Bill at ext. 108 to be exact) made no attempts whatsoever to make things right with me (and actually made several derogatory comments about my computer knowledge). I ended up sending it back to them for a refund (of which, I still haven't received the shipping refund I was promised). It is very obvious that they could care less about customer satisfaction. Just a side note: I then ordered one from www.micropro.com and ended up getting it cheaper (and this one is actually new and works right out of the box!)."
