"I have been a Nextel customer for many years. They use to provide a good product and excellent customer service. That was until around the time that Sprint took over. Now, I am frequently over billed, my phone service cuts out frequently, and my current phone reboots or completely shuts down spontaneously and often during phone calls. O took up the issue with the phone with Nextel and was advised that I could send the phone in for repair (turn around time two weeks) or buy another phone.
No I am told that the $150 "good customer" credit I have isn't worth a damn. Anybody can get the credit.
I'm sick of Nextel. The phone I have finally gave up the ghost and died. I'm going to find a cheap replacement on Craigslist, and when my contract expires, I'm going somewhere else!

"Horrible experience!!!! Took me over 3 hours just to order one phone. Should have relized that was a sign. Called back to figure out when my phone was to ship. I had to then at that point pay more money do to a "computer problem". I asked to cancel. Took me over 12 hours on the phone and 13 calls to finally get that done. Well see if i get my money back?"
"Overall, OK phone service, but terrible customer support. I have Nextel through work, and all their phones have a feature where you can have a second line on your work phone that is billed to you personally. One number for work, one number for me, no grief and aggrivation over personal calls on the company bill, or carrying two phones. Neat idea, in theory. In practice, "Alternate Line Service" makes you a second-class customer. You're not eligible for equipment upgrades, you are condemned to dealing with Corporate customer support instead of regular-guy customer support, which has been a nightmare. I should have known when it took me almost two full months to get the service started. Overall, I am somewhat satisfied, but there are better choices for a cellular provider, better coverage and better prices. And the walkie-talkie thing is mostly a big pain in the butt. "
"This company is just horrible. I placed an order over the phone and in the same day I called in and cancelled the order. The Sale rep said, "Ok i will go ahead and cancel the order for you." And one week later I realized they charged me $850 on my bill. I was like What the #$%^, and then I called in to cancel it over of the phone. They said they shipped the order (Which I never received) And they won't cancel the order without the products being received. WOW THAT"S HOW THEY JACK PEOPLE'S MONEY. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS SH!TTY COMPANY AGAIN!!!"
"Worst Cell company. I was overcharged for something i was never told about and they were willing to meet half way on the bill but i never take off the full $1400 overcharge. As having their service for 1 month so far, i am very dissapointed. Would not recommend them to anyone. I ENCOURAGE MORE PEOPLE TO POST REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY!"
