Site down for maintenance for 3 weeks?

"Purchased tires 2 times. No problem with shipments and payments. I blew a tire and wanted to order one to replace it but site has been down. Are they still in business? Going to buy on Nashbar or Performance now."

bait & switch

"they offered a beautiful c-9 seat which I ordered 1 of. they shipped a **** ugly, totally different seat.They told me that th advertised seat was no longer sold, although they still advertised it almost a YEAR later. They said "sorry, what else can I do for you today?" Yes, spry is the word that applies here."

Never shipped. Did not respond to queries on the order.

"Ordered bike tire tubes on March 29, 2018 through Walmart.com (order to be fulfilled via Niagara Cycle, Inc). Niagara Cycle never shipped the order. Contacted Niagara Cycle after several weeks. "Contact Us" phone information on Niagara website says "(retail store phone only. For internet orders, please use contact form below - the retail store is unable to assist with internet orders)". Used online "contact us" form to report order issue (Niagara Cycle not shipping the order) and received an automated response - we got your contact information and we will contact you back. But Niagara Cycle never contact customer back regarding the order. Called Walmart.com after several weeks and cancelled the order via Walmart (because Niagara Cycles never contacted the customer back and never shipped). After getting a refund from Walmart.com, ordered same bike tire tubes from Nashbar.com.

Dishonest, Horrible Customer Service

"I ordered two tires on Amazon through this company. After about a week, the item had not shipped. As soon as I requested a cancellation they posted a fake tracking number in Amazon and said that the item had shipped. I made an A to Z claim with Amazon and Niagara then claimed they posted the wrong tracking number and provided an updated one........ The shipping label had not even been created at the time I requested to cancel. If you appreciate being taken advantage of and then lied to, this is the company for you. Serves me right for not making the drive to Empire BMX in Austin. "

Bad customer service and doesn't honor the price on their site!

"I ordered a chainring on their site. Next day got an email saying they couldn't do the order because of a price issue with the vendor and that they were going to cancel the order. I emailed them back asking how that is might fault and that they should honor the price on their site and they basically said sorry for the inconvenience. They didn't even try to make it up to me. Nothing. They could care less."

"Expedited shipping" takes 13 days???

"Placed an order for a Shimano shifter on Friday, November 3rd and paid a premium for "expedited shipping" (a $10 shipping charge on a $25 item) with a delevery date of Thursday, November 9th. As of Wednesday, November 8th, the item was still not shipped, so I emailed (they do not take phone calls!) Niagara Cycle and received an email telling me I had "misunderstood" their shipping policy (not true). Now, the item has a delivery date of Thursday, November 16th. So, their so-called "expedited shipping" ($10) will deliver a small item nearly wo weeks after the item was ordered. That's pathetic."

Solid customer serive

"I ordered 2 items recently from Niagara Cycle (lubricant and handlebars). The prices were good and more importantly for me because I am in Canada, they were offering the option to ship with USPS who does not charge insane brokerage fees (I was expecting taxes and a small brokerage fee).

I got the confirmation of shipment... with UPS. Obviously I was unhappy at that point because UPS charges insane brokerage fees. I contacted Niagara Cycle right away, and they answered back saying that they had to use UPS because of the lubricant but they should have warned me before, and would refund the brokerage fee. Once I got the UPS bill, I emailed it to them and within 2 days the refund was done.

A1 customer service in my book, will gladly buy from them again.

Beyond the call of duty

"After an unfortunate theft from my mailbox of the product shipped from Niagara Cycle Works, Nikki at customer service offered a free replacement. I offered to repurchase since the theft obviously was not of their doing, but she wouldn't hear of it. Their generosity has claimed me as a permanent customer. Thank you, Niagara Cycle Works!"

Horrid Customer Service

"horrible customer service. Sells product they do not have, then blames it on their supplier discontinuing the item. Then takes their time issuing a refund. Steer clear, there are better vendors and prices available if you have to shop online"
