"I ordered 4 tops, in two different styles. Supposed to be size small. They all had tags saying that they were size S. But they are gigantic on me. Why do they do this? Whom are they trying to fool? And they charge $10.95 to return something. Outrageous! I will never again give them any of my business again. I'll be too busy altering the tops!"
"I ordered from Northstyle in March 9, 2022. Some of my items did not fit so I sucked up the return costs and returned them for a refund. I was given a credit refund instead. I reordered something I didn't want or need to stop the madness. Somehow I also ended up endorsing VIP status without realizing it. $14.95 was taken monthly from my credit card for 4 months before I realized this. I called to cancel and was told I apparently clicked on a reduced shipping offer that set this in motion. I was told I would be refunded the costs which were around $70+. That was 2 weeks ago. I called again twice, each time bring assured my card would be fully refunded. I'm still waiting for my refund. :-( I will never order from this company again. HUGE, expensive mistake and the clothing takes forever to arrive. This sneaky VIP thing is terrible. I'm usually very careful about not getting tricked into these scams and they still got me. I'm angry every time I think about it. Between these monthly $14.95 charges, overpriced items to behind with, and punitive return policies, I wasted a lot of money on this company. Never again. "
"I ordered an item using my checking account. When I received it, I found the “small” I ordered was huge! The purchase was made in September of last year and I returned it in October. At the time, the transactions seemed to go threw without any problems. However, about 2 months later I happened to be looking at my checking account and found a MONTHLY REPEAT CHARGE of $15.98. I called NorthStyle and was repeatedly hung up on. I then called my bank and their had been 3 months of these charges that I could not get reimbursed for. It’s my fault that I didn’t look at my checking account more closely but NORTHSTYLE IS NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY AND SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THEIR SCAMMING AND STEALING!!"
"I ordered a dress that was on backorder. I received an email stating that I could cancel the backordered item as it was still out of stock. Sent this through on 3-31-2022. Reply stated that they were experiencing high volume and substantial wait times, so thought that my request was received. Then I get a notice stating that the dress was shipped on 4-7-2022. I emailed back and letting them know that this was canceled previously and should not be charged for the return. This is not the only item that has been returned and I have not heard anything. The first item was returned on 4-7-2022 and now this dress on the same day that I received it on 4-12-2022. Have not heard anything and I cannot track with the return tracking numbers. VERY unsatisfied with the service. NO longer going to order from this company!!!!!!

"Ordered from them once (2 items). Paid for shipping very reluctantly, since every other online retailer offers free shipping for a minimum order amount. One item didn't fit (and, frankly, didn't even look like what was advertised in the catalog). I had to pay to ship it back, and then it took Northstyle TWO MONTHS to tender my refund AND they subtracted money for the return shipping from my refund amount anyway, even though I'd paid the USPS directly for return shipping. Just...unreal. Don't even try to contact their so-called customer service - - it's a bevy of sadists in another country. Do NOT order from Northstyle - it's not worth the expense or hassle."
"I have been receiving glossy catalogs from NorthStyle. I decided to order a beautiful jacket. I called the 800 number and placed the order. The customer service person told me that the item was in stock and would arrive in 7 to 10 business days. An hour later, I received confirmation via email, but the message did not come from NorthStyle. The company sending the confirmation was Nature’s Jewelry, which is one of the parent company’s other businesses. I called customer service again to see what had happened, and was given an explanation that made no sense at all. At that point I was told that the jacket had been placed on back order and would be shipped in about six weeks. I needed the jacket sooner than that, so I canceled the order. When I received no email confirmation of the cancellation, I called again. They assured me the order had been canceled. I then called my credit card company, in case a $101 charge goes through anyway. I should have known to check the reviews before placing an order with NothStyle, but their catalog looked so professional and glossy. I will never again try to order something from this company."
"After putting a clothing item in my cart while considering a purchase, I received a pop-up ad with a greatly reduced price. I then decided to go ahead and make the purchase only to find out it was bait and switch. The "sale" was listed in 4 different places to further convince me it was an intentional scam. I called the company and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told they were busy and I should call back in an hour. I reported them to the FTC. "
"In searching for a raincoat I came across NorthStyle's website where I was offered 10% off of my 1st order. I received the email which stated "Welcome, our gift to you 10% off your first order" I completed my order and couldn't find out how to redeem the 10% and called. I was instructed to complete my order where the 10% would be applied. NOPE...no 10%. I called back and was informed OH....you will receive 10% along with shipping charges in the form of a check...WHAT? Where was this in the Welcome email and sending a hard check in 2020? Alarm bells went off and I called and insisted on speaking with management. I told them this is. nothing but a bait and switch and would like to cancel this order. NOW I have to call back tomorrow to TRY and cancel. I will be reporting this to the BBB and calling Discover to advise I may have to begin a claim.

"My experience with NS has never been stellar, but I have always likes the clothing. But this last order , which I placed at the first of May and still haven’t received it has been a nightmare! I have tried to call customer service and was told my wait would be 250 SECONDS!! Finally got through to someone last week and was told it would be shipped in 24 to 48 hours. Five days later, still no order. Checked shipping and it is sitting in a warehouse. This wasn’t a cheap order and the shipping and handling an extra cost. However, NS didn’t waste anytime charging my credit card. Nice. You have my money and I still don’t have a thing and was told I probably won’t get it til next month. So, I am done. No more shopping with NorthStyle. "
"I placed a $250+ order on April 30th and while other orders have been received that were placed at the same time, I had yet to see this one. The company's online process to check told me nothing and their automated telephone system does not work properly, so rather than wait on hold for "more than 180 minutes" I sent an email inquiring. NOTHING. I called again, waited on hold for almost an hour, just to hear my order has been "processed". What does that mean? It has not shipped. I cancelled the order and hope it actually was as the rep told me they do not send confirming emails for cancellations (like almost every other company does). Their clothes are so cute, wish my experience has been better as they would have had a loyal customer."

WHAT?? I called to cancel everything. I was told that the purchase was not yet in the system so I couldn't so call back. I called back and was put on hold for 26 minutes. Told now that the order was confirmed so nothing could be cancelled. "Please do not buy from them. I bought an item of clothing for a Christmas gift. The item was returned to them in good condition. I bought the item for $58.00 and was only given $40.00 back. I tried to call them to work this out, but they have no interest in the consumer. They only want to make money. Be warned and shop elsewhere. "
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a coat on a gift card I received as a gift. The coat was too large so i sent it back just to exchange for a smaller size. To sum it up they kept the coat and the money. claimed they credited the card which I no longer have as I used it and was just an even exchange. Reported to Better Business Bureau. Never resolved. Customer Service is terrible. WHAT A SCAM OF A COMPANY!! AGAIN DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. "
