Bad experience t the parts department

"I walked in to the parts department asking for the O ring for a Toyota 4runner engine oil adapter nd the associate said that I had to buy the oil cooler together with the O ring but I asked to buy the O ring only and he refused to sell it to me nd I left and went to the website and I ordered the part online and picked it up at the same place with the same guy and paid $10.00 for the O ring that he refused to sell to me and telling me that I had to buy that whole parts way more expensive so I will make sure I tell my friends about this Toyota dealer who try to sell parts that costumer doesn’t need "

Met my Needs

"Ordered parts online for my daughter's Prius, but wanted to confirm I was ordering everything properly.
Herb at the parts counter was very helpful and respectful. I picked up the parts the next day, but went back to get further clarification of some of the parts and their orientation. Once again, Herb was very helpful as well as the gentleman at the end of the counter.
Thank you for the help. Next time I'm in LA and need parts for my daughter's car, I know where I'll be going.

"I was very happy with the help I received. I had to call back a couple of times I needed some questions answered even though I made a few phone calls to him. The gentleman was still very kind. Gave me the information I needed. I found the item I needed online, ordered it and within a couple hours I picked it up from a local Toyota dealer, easy Peezy .

Super Speed Shipping saved the Day and the Highlander

"Waited until the last minute to get my 2002 Highlander with about a billion miles on it smogged. Of course it failed, of course it needed a Catalytic Converter. Shopped around and found the best price at Toyota of N Hollywood. Ordered it on Monday, it arrived in Northern California on Wednesday! Smog passed and I can still wait until after my Credit Card closes to pay the DMV their ahem, tribute...Thanks and on to a billion more miles!"

Unable to Deliver!

"Ordered 5W20 oil on line, and it was accepted. When I called the parts Department for follow-up, I was told they could not serve my order. But still they collected my payment. It took a week before I got my payment back."

"Parts Department clerks need to be trained on how to handle customers. I made a call to inquire about parts that I needed. If you are not a shop or a dealer, you either have to come in to prepaid for the parts or order online. So I ordered the parts online, two days passed and no email confirmation if the parts had arrived. I called the parts department and ask about the parts that I had ordered and without any further information the clerk assumed that I just had ordered the parts that day and went on to explained that it takes up to two business days to get the parts. To which I replied that it had been two days since I put the order. The clerk proceded to verify if my parts where delivered and in fact they were. In general the crew that deals with service and parts need to have some good training. A simple oil change takes 3.5 hours according to a service rep without appointment. That is the reason I don't go to Toyota for service, bad service, bad attitudes of the employees. "
