THIS IS NOT A REAL COMPANY! It's just a website that sells products they don't have! When u order from them, they order from steel freaks dot come, and steelfreaks ships directly to you. They just take big commission, and then really screw you if you want to return. Better deal directly with manufacturer! Google it!"
"From ordering on line to delivery at my door it was fast and I needed a tracking number, 1 message is all it took and I had it in a few minutes. So customer service is outstanding! The whole purchase was perfect. I've never had a issue with them over the years. "
"They gave incorrect information on a stove connection part - fortunately, I checked with the mfr before ordering. When ordering, I was told 2 of the 6 items would be delayed 2 to 3 weeks. Two days after ordering I got a message saying the expected delivery would be delayed 3 months. I called and was told I can't cancel the delayed items and if I return them I need to pay shipping both ways. They said one of the delayed items was in stock in Nevada and it would be shipped at the same time as the in-stock items (in 5-7 days). I told them to hold it for me so it doesn't get sold in the meantime, but they said they can't. Later that day they bill my credit card for all items even though they had not shipped them.
Update: On the positive, one of the delayed items arrived before the in-stock items. Unfortunately, they sold the other delayed item - in Nevada - to someone else. One of the items that shipped was used (the black paint was severely chipped & scratched) so I had to send it back. They told me the replacement item would ship as soon as carrier received it. The next day I got a message saying the exchange would be process in 14 days! Just terrible customer service. I will not order from them again."
"Ordered a flue kit and it came damaged website says call customer service after wasting 3 days trying that I got somebody on the phone sent a email address to send pics of the damage, tried that emails and pics was undeliverable tried calling again 3 more times today left voicemails nobody called me back I want a return slip and a refund I already ordered another kit from another company and got it delivered and installed and still haven't even got a return slip or refund or even a email or phone call, feels like a scam, kinda getting mad about it"

"4 of 4 duratech chimney pipes were not round. Unfortunately I didn't realize it until I went to install. Past the exchange window, but with all 4 being bad, I would have just returned them. I sliced my finger open trying to Jimmy the metal together. Finally had to just brute force the pipes together and forgo twisting. The only 4' stove pipe I ordered was manufactured with significant defects in both ends, again unable to put it together with other pipes. It was clearly a manufacturing issue as they were all bent up, but the paint was flawless. I sent back for exchange, exactly 1 month later received another pipe which was all banged up on one side and both ends. Wish I had kept the first one and just used some pliers. Waiting another month for the next damaged item to arrive. At this rate, I will need to buy that pipe from a reputable local company and just resell the junk they keep sending me out call it a loss. I believe they must be sending out returned or junk items hoping people will just accept what they get. I will continue sending this trash back month after month until I get an item that is what I paid for. "

"would never order again from this company. Ordered stove pipe for a cabin we just bought in MT, we live in IL, pipe shipping to MT. Get a back order notice that was an unacceptable delay on a cleanout T. So I call them to cancel the T, and ordered a stainless one as a replacement. They tell me they will handle the cancellation and refund my $. When I get to MT, I have both of the T's. No refund ever given on the alleged backorder. Am told I can ship the extra T back at my expense and they might refund me the $'s or they might just ship it back to me............ So in other words on an $81 item i should pay 20-30 for shipping (and have now $220 invested in T's) and maybe, just maybe they will refund."
