"Tried to order two monitors from this place. First of all the website would not let us order the monitors so we had to call the order in. We never got a shipping status so we called in to the same guy and he said that the system screwed up our order. We asked him to call us back when I got it figured out. He never did. Later when we called again got the same guy and asked to speak to someone else because he obviously did not know what he was doing and he said he was the only one there. He then sent us an email that he shipped it to the wrong location. How that happened I don’t know because we only gave him one address. After that email we told him he needed to ship us the monitors today and not wait for them to come back and ship them again. He didn’t understand why we didn’t want to wait for him to get the monitors back before shipping them to us. At the end we told him he need to give us a tracking number or we are canceling. We gave him two days to do that and he could not figure it out. We ended up asking for a refund, its been four days and it doesn’t look like he knows how to that either. We ended up calling our credit card and having them dispute it so we can get our money back.
All in all, if you are looking for someone who knows how to ship the products they sell don’t go to this guy. He has no idea what anything is and seems to be all alone in it. And you will never receive your product. I wish I could give negative stars on this thing."

"I would advice anyone that values his/her money NOT to order from this website. I ordered a laptop from them and received a confirmation email saying the package has been shipped. This e-mail came without a tracking order. After two weeks of not receiving this package, I gave them a call only to be told the laptop was not accurately priced at the time of purchase. I then asked for a refund, it's past 5 business days now and I'm yet to receive the money. I have been calling and the customer service guy appears completely clueless and rude, giving bullsh1t story about him not knowing what's going on with the credit department. If I could give rate this website negative, I would!"

My order actually shipped from Romeoville, IL... Interestingly, another of my electronics suppliers is located there. (We are a small OEM manufacturer). "Absolutely the worst mail order experience of my life! I ordered 5 different items on 12/29 that were supposedly in stock at their warehouse. An email was sent on 12/31 saying that the items shipped via FedEx Ground - without a tracking #. What's the point of telling me the carrier without giving me a tracking #?
Well, it turns out it actually shipped by UPS, not on 12/31 but on 1/2 and not from Las Vegas but from Ohio. Okay, I understand the holiday may have caused some delays and you lied about it being in stock. I'll get over that. But the frustrating part was that an item I ordered (and paid for) was not listed on the packing slip and no backorder info was provided. Well, after four phone calls and three emails over a period of two weeks without a response, I get this email from them:
"Because you've bought something from nyetex.com, and while were still small I want to make sure I get it right. Any positive feedback you have, no matter how brief, will also help us to grow and satisfy more customers." Well obviously you don't intend to "get it right" or satisfy customers by read your email and listening to your answering machine.
Other warning signs I ignored:
- The Las Vegas address is a Postal Pros PO Box.
- The local phone #, ***-***-****, is a Santa Monica CA landline.
- Nyetex is owned by Nytex LLC, 101 N Victory Bl, Burbank, CA. Yes, you guessed it - another strip mall PO Box address.
Their Twitter feeds and Facebook posts stopped a few weeks ago and today I see their web server is down - hopefully for good so no one else gets taken in as I was."
"Ordered a computer from here with a great deal. However that is as far as my compliments go. Order status was not updated and I spent three days waiting for it to update. I had to actually call in and ask them if my order was sent. I was told it was indeed sent but it just wasn't updated yet....for three days. I understand how ridiculous I sound but if you're going to add in a feature that allows the customer to track their package at least try to make an effort to ensure the feature is reliable. Not even a tracking number was sent."
