NO communication

"I was told my order would be received by December 24. It was not received by December 24. I therefore wrote to customer service. I was told I would get a reply in24 hours. No reply given. I wrote again. Still no reply after 24 more hours. I wrote a third time. Still no reply, now after a total of 72 hours. Needless to say, I am done with this horribly managed company "

Stuck in winter storm

"My son ordered our family a box for Christmas dinner. He’s a fisherman so he arrived close to Christmas, we orders them Tuesday 12/21, the delivery said 12/27, that wouldn’t work. So he paid $44 for express shipping. They had warned us (the news) there was a winter storm coming, but Omaha still let us do the express shipping. Well it’s Tuesday the 27 and the steaks are still not here. The tracking states still in Tennessee. So my son called they offered him a $25 gift card and said the tracking doesn’t work and they should be here today. Now if they were shipped Tuesday they’ve been in a styrofoam box for a week, will they still be good? It’s 6 pm and they still are not here. The gift card doesn’t even make up for the $44 shipping fee!

Crooks

"Placed an order online on 12/18/22. Delivery was promised 12/23/22. I would have a day to thaw the meat and cook on Christmas Day. Today is 12/26/22. FedEx tracking says my order is in Chicago, where it has sat in a refrigerated truck for 3 days now. I had a family expecting A nice Christmas dinner. We ended up eating appetizers and dessert. I'm embarrassed and furious at this swindling company. Thanks for screwing up Christmas dinner. Buyer beware!! Do not count on honesty, freshness or an on-time delivery. If this meat ever does come, I'm afraid of it and would never feed it to my family. I'm sure a refund is out of the question.

Never showed up RUINED Christmas.

"I paid for express shipping ordered 12/19/22 was to arrive 12/22-23/ 2022 kept updating arrived to my area and then DELAY in big bold orange 12/24/22 and stayed in the DELAYED mode as it remains and Yep! You got it..my order never showed up, upon looking into why I found they had charged me twice for the same order. I have no Ham for Christmas and my money is gone. It will be hours on the phone to get this rectified if thats even possible!!!! I am beyond ANGRY!!!! "

Very little meat

"I ordered the beef Bourguignon it was suppose to be enough for 4 servings! Well there was only enough for only one!! The carrots were hard and mostly garvey and potato's. As far as t ast it was ok nothing like home cooking the same item. I would not suggest anyone purchase this meal. Not happy:("

Worst customer service ever!

"Received my order today after, missing the most important and expensive item. No explanation as to why. Sent them an email without a response and have been waiting on hold for over 30 minutes. Will never buy another thing from them ever again."

Everything is good but. . .

"Got a box as a gift for the second time and I love everything except for the burgers. Steaks, chicken, pork loin chops, apple tarts and au gration potatoes are amazing. Hot dogs are good as hot dogs can be as are the burgers but when thawed the burgers are kind of sloppy and I always have to throw them in a bowl and reform them. They taste great after that especially with their seasoning but you can't just thaw them and just grill them. Otherwise everything is pretty damn good. "

Discussed - Took forever!!!!!!

"I called and was placed on hold for 35 minutes at which time I hung up. How can you expect someone to hold for over 35 minutes to order your products?????? There is nothing more rude!!!! How can company’s like Omaha Steaks expect people to buy their products when they make you wait 35+ minutes on hold. Very frustrating and this continues to reflect corporate mentality that good customer service is just an expense and most companies do the same and make you wait for ever!!! Who has 35 minutes to waste ordering your food.

Even my dog would not eat Omaha's steaks

"I received a free debit card and decided to try Omaha Steaks with it. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! The steaks smelled like dog food and the chicken fried steaks were so salty it was like eating a McDonald's burger. I will never, ever buy anything from them again. STAY AWAY!!!"

False Advertising

"They advertised free shipping in orders of $159 or more. Our order was over $500 but they said that since we were shipping to several different addresses they broke it into several separate orders of less than $159 - then they added shipping charges to each separate order - THATS FALSE ADVERTISING"

Christmas delivery in November

"Website advertised ~2 weeks before Christmas delivery. Get an email that it was being delivered in November. Recipient's were on vacation and 200$ of steaks were left to rot outside.

Got the run around from customer service when I contacted them the day before delivery, including one rep who said "I will get this sorted and call you back!" and then clocked out for the day. I called back later that evening, got a different one, who said she will "email Fedex". When contacting Fedex myself they said they could reroute it no problem if Omaha called them.

Garbage customer service, total waste of money! Never order anything to someone else's address using these people! Rep could not spend 5 minutes fixing my order and spent the 5 minutes lying to me instead because they are lazy!

Christmas Delivery
